I tend to tense my entire hand when I'm singletapping so it makes transitioning into alternating (for streams and bursts) a bit awkward feeling since my fingers are so tight when I initiate the alternation. Is this normal or am I doing something wrong? Anyone else have this problem? Any solutions?

I'm used to having my fingers be really loose and relaxed when I do streams and such.
Bauxe
Used to happen.

I learnt to single tap with my second finger and alternate, and now I don't have that issue.

I get fingerlock coz my room gets very cold. Its starting to get warmer into spring now so room is around 17C :D

my heater is useless :|

ps: my second finger used to tense up when weird pattern comes as well and I tried learning to alternate like Bauxe but it didn't work so I just got more faster and accurate with dominant finger. Pattern like slider -> double circle I usually start slider on main finger then start double with second finger, but if second finger getting tense then I start double with main finger as well. sry if confusing lol

my secondary finger don't tense up as much/at all (unless it's over 240bpm) so it's fine for me

I stiffen my hand. Maybe thats why I suck at osu. Oh wait I dont even play rhythm games 8-)

My fingers are quite relaxed when I single tap or stream slowly, but I tend to tense up when doing fast singles. You're nnot doing anything wrong unless it's hindering your performance.
