Heya, random mod, just a few suggestions

Kantan
  1. Spacing of 00:40:576 (47) and 00:46:576 (54) just feels so out of place, why break the spacing like this? The vocal here isn't that dominant. I think you should remove this and have notes on 00:40:014 and 00:40:764 and 00:41:139 instead for better instrument and vocal emphasis. You should try something similar with 00:45:264 (53,54,55,56).
  2. 00:54:26 would fit better as d I think, it's nicer for emphasis if you only start with k on 00:56:514.
  3. I think it sounds much better if you move 01:05:889 (74) to 01:05:139 and 01:04:389 (72) to 01:05:514 (73), it would emphasize vocal and instruments much better imo. you could even have a 5-note 1/1 pattern starting at 01:04:764 here if you really want to keep a note on 01:05:889. This applies to other patterns in the kiai as well, it just sounds weird if you have more notes mapped over long sounds and then a break after 01:04:764 when there should be notes.
  4. 01:15:264 K, the pitch is higher than before. Also, you could have D finishes on 01:14:139 and 01:14:514, would emphasize the song nicely. If you think spacing is too close, you could also remove the note on 01:13:014.

  1. Similar to Kantan, 00:40:576 (70) does not feel nice to play because you don't have anything much around that supports it. How about 00:40:576 d and k on 00:40:764. Then add k on 00:41:139 and change 00:41:514 to d. The result should look like this starting from 00:40:576. This would emphasize instruments and vocals nicely imo. Applies to 00:46:576 as well.
  2. 01:03:264 (105) K, you have a higher pitch than before. Similar with 01:15:264.
  3. I think it would be better to have the 1/2 between notes like 01:05:139 (110,111) instead of 01:04:389 (107,109). This is because there is a long sound in the music from 01:04:389, which is not between 01:05:139 (110,111), so I think it would make more sense to use the 1/2 here instead to fit the song better.
  4. I think you could remove 01:13:201 and add a D on 01:14:139.
In Muzukashii, I think you should add notes in places like 00:17:701 and 00:20:701 etc. to have a nicer structure in this part.

In Muzukashii, I think you should add notes in places like 00:17:701 and 00:20:701 etc. to have a nicer structure in this part. There is note in times past. it was just removed for reducing density.

However, the file exceeds 24MB with the video, which is a warning on AIMod. So.. idk, im not similar with these stuff qwq If you wish to keep it i guess you have to make the file smaller..?

Maybe there is no problem unless the video is exceeded 30MB. it was written as follows in ranking criteria: Try to keep osz files under 10MB, or 30MB if you include a video/storyboard. Videos and storyboards can generally be decreased in size by lowering the quality of the video or trimming/resizing storyboard elements.

* 제 맵의 노트 수와 Ozzy에게 추천받은 HP를 생각하면 Kantan: HP9, Futsuu: HP8, Muzukashii: HP7, Oni: HP6 정도는 되어야 할 것 같습니다. 특히나 오니는 노트 수가 이너오니보다 훨씬 적은데도 불구하고 어째서 HP는 더 낮은 5인지 잘 모르겠네요.
* Every diffs are increasing the volume since 00:57:264 - but imo, I don't see any intensity difference until it reaches to 01:01:764 - , so I doubt if it's a good way to represent the music. On Muzukashii+ diffs, the patterns themselves are changed a lot but I don't think it works properly when the song is really consistent with the previous part.

* 00:43:764 (50,51,52) - 다른 소리들에는 큰 변화가 없지만 보컬만큼은 50-51이 제일 크게 높아지는데 51을 캇으로 바꾸는 게 낫지 않을까 싶습니다. 전반적으로 동의 비중이 이쪽이 높기도 하고요.

* 00:46:576 (79) - 난이도를 걱정하신 건진 모르겠는데 간단처럼 d를 쓰는 게 보컬 높이에 더 맞다고 생각합니다. 이미 직전에 한 번 3/2 갭을 소개했기 때문에 색이 달라도 괜찮다고 생각해요. 무즈카시에서는 3/4을 색을 이리저리 바꿔가며 사용한 걸 생각하면...

* 01:31:764 (175,176,177,178,179) - 저에게는 맵 전체에서 가장 어색한 부분이었습니다. 01:31:764 (175,176,177) - 와 01:34:014 (178,179) - 는 음악적으로 완전히 다른 부분인데도 같은 2/1 패턴을 반복해서 사용했을 뿐 아니라, 01:34:014 - 01:34:764 - 의 소리는 전혀 강하지 않은데도 계속 피니시가 들어간 것도 이해가 되지 않았습니다. 저라면 K K K d k 를 추천하겠습니다. 나머지 상위 난이도들도 마찬가지입니다.

* 00:23:889 (76) - 는 d가 되는 것이 00:24:264 (77) - 의 높은 보컬을 강조하는 데에 도움이 될 것 같고, 00:25:389 (81) - 는 80보다도 낮은 소리인데 d를 쓰는 게 더 어울리지 않을까 합니다.
* 00:37:389 (117) - 도 비슷한 이유로 d, 그리고 00:38:139 (119,120) - 도 바꾸는 게 낫지 않을까요?
* 00:42:639 (135,136,137) - 여기도 dkd가 음높이에는 더 맞을 듯하네요. 딱히 1/1들을 전부 k로 표현하려 했다거나 한 것도 아니고요.
* 01:07:764 (220,221,222,223,224,225) - 01:19:764 (270,271,272,273,274,275) - d k ddd k가 어떨까요? 근거로는 1. 3연타가 모조리 kkk밖에 없어 불균형한 점 2. 키아이에서 전반적으로 k가 높은 보컬을 표현하는 데에 쓰였지만 여기는 그렇지 않다는 점 3. 실제로 들리는 드럼 소리가 낮은 소리인 점 등이 있겠네요.
* 01:08:889 (226) - 도 d를 쓰는 게 01:09:639 (229,230,231) - 의 높은 보컬과의 패턴적 차이도 둘 수 있어서 낫다고 보입니다. 그리고 01:20:889 (276,277,278) - 랑은 일관성이 좀 떨어지네요.
* 01:11:889 (239) - 마찬가지로 d. 사실 무즈카시에서만 왜 유독 보컬 없는 흰 틱에 k를 애용하시는지 잘 모르겠습니다. 다른 난이도들에서는 보컬 외에는 d를 더 많이 쓰쎴기도 하고요.
* 01:19:389 (269) - 01:07:389 (219) - 도 d가 어울린다고 생각되네요.

* 00:01:764 - 를 기점으로 음악이 좀 달라지는 것이 무즈카시와 이너 오니에서는 표현이 되었는데 오니에서는 변화가 없네요. 이너 오니에선 긴 연타로 채워넣었으니 오니에서는 00:01:857 - 에 k를 추가하는 것으로 해결할 수 있지 않을까 합니다.
* 00:32:701 (140,141) - 는 00:20:701 (88,89) - 와 같이 kd로 하는 게 보컬 표현이 적절하다고 봅니다.
* 00:47:889 (206,207,208,209,210,211,212,213,214,215,216,217,218,219,220,221,222) - 점진적으로 분위기가 고조되는데 실제로 패턴의 변화가 일어난 건 마지막 5연타 뿐이라 조금 아쉬웠습니다. 00:49:951 - 를 채우고 부족하다면 00:49:201 - 도 채워넣는 게 어떨지요.
* 00:53:889 - d를 쓰는 것이 00:54:264 - 를 강조할 수 있다고 봅니다.
* 00:56:139 (239) - 굳이 k로 변화할 이유가 없는 것 같네요. 드럼 소리에 맞춰서 이전의 d를 이어가는 게 나을 듯합니다.
* 01:22:389 (368,369,370) - 맵 전체에 유일무이한 aba 패턴인데 그냥 01:10:389 (306,307,308) - 처럼 쓰는 게 어떨까요?

[Gen's Oni]
* 00:04:014 (22,23,24,25,26) - 00:10:014 (50,51,52,53,54) - idk what made you use this pattern because 24,25 is just higher than 22,23. Why not something like ddkdk?
* 00:07:014 (34,35,36) - I read your previous mod reply but what you only said is that "a ranked mapset has this too", which is never a valid reason (it only can be a reference). That mapset is a bit different case because these two hardest diffs are just 2 different Oni diffs, not Oni - Inner Oni spread.
Anyway what's more important here is your reasoning behind it. In my opinion, that sound is not like "omg this is unarguably the most intense sound here", it's just a high tone between regular melodies. Furthermore, you only have used 1/2s until here so a sudden 1/6 is not really expected too. 1/4 would be more than enough to emphasize that sound. Also please do consider that your diff is meant to be easier than Inner Oni, as the diff name shows it. Applies to all other 1/6s too.
* 00:20:701 (106,107) - 00:32:701 (168,169) - The vocal tone goes down, so why not kd like Oni or just dd?
* 00:26:514 (132,133,134,135,136) - 00:38:514 (194,195,196,197,198) - This is really weird imo, It should be like http://puu.sh/sfVmO/9bf1026cac.jpg if you follow the drum correctly.
* 00:39:639 - In this part, I wanna ask you what you wanted to represent with all these ddk. I don't see much of consistency, since the drum triplets always start at red ticks but your map has it on both white and red ticks. Is there any pattern for that? What I thought about this is "Oh is it following drums? Uh... no? vocal? then why random triplets here and there? Some fits the drum and some doesn't..."
For example, 00:39:732 - has no drum sound but you have a note here. What does this want to represent? Emphasizing 00:39:826 - this vocal? Then I might ask again, 00:40:295 - what about this note? Now drum? 00:47:982 - how about this? If this is representing vocal, then what does 00:48:451 (244,245,246,247,248) - do? I'm pretty sure it's drum again. Tell me, is there any logic other than just switching between vocals and drums randomly?
* 01:03:264 - Can I ask you why the note density keeps getting increased while the song intensity actually goes down? You even ignored 01:04:576 - this vocal then suddenly spammed random streams 01:07:764 (317,318,319,320,321,322,323,324) - to represent... nothing? The stream isn't even following drums since 01:07:857 (318,320) - 01:08:420 - actually have no drums while 01:08:232 - does. It basically applies to the whole kiai.
* 01:31:764 (435,436,437,438,439) - Why not K D K D K? The melody is exactly like that.

I know Taiko mappers kinda 'create' their own rhythms but I think it should be done in ways to represent/emphasize the music better. I don't see much of reasoning behind your map to overmap things, because you're basically ignoring actual sounds that exist in the music, and put random notes that represents nothing in the music.

I'm not going to icon this or anything since I'm not a Taiko BN, but I'd still love to listen to your opinion about my concern.

[Inner Oni]
* 00:50:420 (316) - d가 어떨까요? 00:50:514 (317) - 가 워낙 특출난 소리이기 때문에 단독으로 k를 써줄 필요가 있다고 봅니다.
* 원하시다면 01:45:732 - 01:46:482 - 를 채워넣는 것도 괜찮을 것 같습니다. 최고 난이도를 언더매핑하는 걸 안 좋아하는 븡들도 있고... (사실 01:45:920 - 01:46:670 - 에도 다 소리는 있지만 거기까지 하면 너무 길겠지만요)

On Muzukashii+ diffs, the patterns themselves are changed a lot but I don't think it works properly when the song is really consistent with the previous part. 처음으로 노트 밀도가 적어지는 부분에서 이미 볼륨 자체가 50%까지 내려가는데, 그 상태를 그대로 유지하고 가다가 갑자기 80%까지 올라가면 볼륨 갭이 은근 클거라 생각해서 저렇게 변화를 준거긴 합니다. 근데 이제와서 보면 확실히 저 지점부터 키아이 전까지는 큰 변화가 없는것도 사실이기에 그냥 저 지점에서 50%랑 80% 중간값인 65% 한개만 두기로 했습니다.

* 00:15:264 (26,27,28,29,30,31,32,33,34,35,36,37,38,39,40,41,42,43,44,45,46) - 와 00:27:264 (47,48,49,50,51,52,53,54,55,56,57,58,59,60,61,62,63,64,65,66,67) - 를 비교하면 몇 개의 노트를 제외하고는 완전히 똑같은데, 간단보다도 패턴이 더욱 반복적인 느낌이라 조금 아쉬웠어요. 그 조금 달라진 몇 개의 노트들은 오히려 00:17:514 (30) - 00:20:514 (35) - 00:23:514 (40) - 동동동 00:29:514 (51) - 00:32:514 (56) - 00:35:514 (61) - 캇동캇인데 특별한 규칙 없이 랜덤으로 쓰인 느낌이라 일관성이 떨어져보였고요. 전체적인 패턴을 바꾸지 않으실 거라면 전자도 캇동캇으로 써주면 일관성은 더 확보할 수 있지 않을까 생각합니다. 사실 자세히 들어보면 약간씩 차이를 줘도 될만한게 있어서 그부분에 차이를 주고, 나머지는 일관성 맞춰서 수정을 했습니다. 근데 사실 이게 막상 변화를 주려고 하면 줄게 그닥 없어요. 결국 난이도 특성상 어느정도 비슷한 패텬이 반복되는건 피할수가 없다 생각되네요.
* 00:46:576 (79) - 난이도를 걱정하신 건진 모르겠는데 간단처럼 d를 쓰는 게 보컬 높이에 더 맞다고 생각합니다. 이미 직전에 한 번 3/2 갭을 소개했기 때문에 색이 달라도 괜찮다고 생각해요. 무즈카시에서는 3/4을 색을 이리저리 바꿔가며 사용한 걸 생각하면... 단순 실수입니다. 수정했습니다.
* 01:00:264 (100) - 00:54:264 (90) - 과의 일관성이나 보컬/악기 음높이를 생각해도 d가 낫지 않을까요? 이쪽에 k가 전체적으로 너무 많은 느낌도 있고요. 글쎄요. 오히려 이런식으로 단순화 시킨 패턴에서는 다른 악기보다는 확실하게 들리는 멜로디쪽을 따라가는게 좋다고 생각하는데...
* 01:06:639 (113,114,115,116) - 01:18:639 (142,143,144,145) - 완전히 같은 음인데 패턴은 정반대로 쓰셨네요. 특별한 이유가 있나요? 정신이 없었나 봅니다. 일단 똑같이 수정했습니다 DX
* 01:31:764 (175,176,177,178,179) - 저에게는 맵 전체에서 가장 어색한 부분이었습니다. 01:31:764 (175,176,177) - 와 01:34:014 (178,179) - 는 음악적으로 완전히 다른 부분인데도 같은 2/1 패턴을 반복해서 사용했을 뿐 아니라, 01:34:014 - 01:34:764 - 의 소리는 전혀 강하지 않은데도 계속 피니시가 들어간 것도 이해가 되지 않았습니다. 저라면 K K K d k 를 추천하겠습니다. 나머지 상위 난이도들도 마찬가지입니다. 그냥 낮은 난이도에서는 178, 179번을 지우는쪽으로 갔습니다. 그리고 상위 난이도에서는 175, 176, 177번 위치에 있는 노트들은 이미 다 K입니다.

[Muzukashii]
* 00:23:889 (76) - 는 d가 되는 것이 00:24:264 (77) - 의 높은 보컬을 강조하는 데에 도움이 될 것 같고, 00:25:389 (81) - 는 80보다도 낮은 소리인데 d를 쓰는 게 더 어울리지 않을까 합니다. 왜 저게 k인지 저도 잘 모르겠네요. 뒤쪽에 비슷한 부분 포함해서 수정했습니다.
* 00:37:389 (117) - 도 비슷한 이유로 d, 그리고 00:38:139 (119,120) - 도 바꾸는 게 낫지 않을까요? 이부분은 보류로 두겠습니다. 사실 이부분을 d으로 두기에는 이전에 116번 노트보다는 음이 높아서...
* 00:42:639 (135,136,137) - 여기도 dkd가 음높이에는 더 맞을 듯하네요. 딱히 1/1들을 전부 k로 표현하려 했다거나 한 것도 아니고요. 사실 듣기에는 135, 136번보다 137번이 더 높은음같기에 차라리 둔다면 dkk쪽이 나을것 같네요.
* 01:07:764 (220,221,222,223,224,225) - 01:19:764 (270,271,272,273,274,275) - d k ddd k가 어떨까요? 근거로는 1. 3연타가 모조리 kkk밖에 없어 불균형한 점 2. 키아이에서 전반적으로 k가 높은 보컬을 표현하는 데에 쓰였지만 여기는 그렇지 않다는 점 3. 실제로 들리는 드럼 소리가 낮은 소리인 점 등이 있겠네요. 굳이 3연타를 k으로만 써야한다는 그런 미련은 없기에 일단 수정. 것보다 저렇게 바꾸는게 플레이하기에도 더 괜찮은것 같네요.

Muzukashii : boom it's really crowded with 3/2

So what am i trying to say is, Futsuu needs to be harder in order to make the spread better. Reason why im not modding the Futsuu there is, i'm afraid if i start to ask you to change a thing, you will have to change the whole thing (the pattern is a bit similar to each parts), so i want you to figure things of yourself (i know you can :D) If you ask my suggestion, you can add more 1/1 on those parts :D

No offense, but for me, your futsuu right now is like Kantan copypasted then added some notes and removed notes, and give 1/2 there.
Kiai part is good though, just need a little bit polishment :)
My understanding on spread might be wrong, but i judge on what i understand is right. So if you (or anyone else) want to correct me, then please do.

There is really no way to adjust spread with just changing some patterns in my opinion. basically, the rhythm of Kantan and Futsuu is too simple rhythm to make the changes, it definitely makes a similar situation if i try to change patterns. I think, in this case, the best way is remapping those difficulties from scratch.

The differences of notes object btw Kantan and Futsuu is about 60 (including my mod), that of Futsuu and Muzukashii is about 170, which is 3 times than the former! In case, you increase the density in Kantan, Futsuu can be made harder in a certain extent, no matter what. In other words, the current Futsuu is too easy. More 1/2 patterns can be used literally.

> 00:26:139 - d could be added here, higher density is expected right here just at the end of a phrase.

Kantan and Futsuu is remapped. so i can't give exact description of above modding. but I think the most of things are probably fixed.

  2. 전체적으로 OD를 한 단계씩 높여주는 것이 오리지날 다운 방법이라고 생각합니다.
    I think that it's the way like original taiko to increase the OD one step at every diff.

  1. 오리지날 오니의 OD를 높혀주세요. (5 to 6) 이건 동의하기가 좀 힘드네요. 오스에서는 일단 OD 6만 되도 판정이 좀 까다로워져서 일반적인 오니에 6을 설정하기에는 좀 그렇다고 봅니다.
  2. 세 맵 중 하나라도 00:39:076:, 00:51:076:, 00:57:076:에 노트를 추가해도 될 리듬입니다. (전부 D 또는 K) 이부분에 대해서는 이전 난이도에서도 말했듯이, 단지 취향의 문제입니다.
    Add a note to either three maps at 00:39:076:, 00:51:076:, 00:57:076:.
  3. 오니 난이도가 3개 있습니다. 화룡점정 시리즈 처럼 普通/玄人/達人(보통/현인/달인)의 형태로 네이밍을 설정해도 될 것 같습니다. 물론 Oni는 표기해야 합니다. 괜찮은 아이디어라 생각을 좀 해보긴 했습니다만, 오스 태고 하시는분들 중에는 이걸 처음으로 접하시는 분들도 있어서 난이도 구별이 살짝 안될지도 모른다는 생각도 들기에, 일단은 현상황 보류해두도록 하겠습니다.
    There is three maps of Diff Oni. It's fine about adding name 普通/玄人/達人(Normal/Kurouto/Tatsujin), like "Garyo Tensei" series. Of course, "Oni" must to notated.

  1. 높은 HP는 클리어 목적에 있어 초중반 구간을 의미없게 만들기 때문에 낮은 난이도에서 비추천합니다.
    이것은 기본모드나 매니아가 아닙니다! 이부분에 대해서 입니다만, 요즘 대부분의 맵들이 짧은 저 난이도 맵에서는 대부분 HP를 높게 설정합니다. 이유인즉슨, 전체적인 노트 갯수가 적으면 적을수록 거의 대부분을 다 틀려도 회복량이 상당히 높기에 클리어가 가능하다는 것 때문인데, 이부분은 모든 BN이나 QAT들이 체크하는 부분이기도 해서 어쩔수가 없습니다. 굳이 내린다면 1단계씩은 내릴수 있겠지만, 전 일단 저 의견에 어느정도 동의하는 바도 있어서 지금 상태를 유지하도록 하겠습니다.
    High HP Drain Rate can make low~middle range meaningless for clearing purpose, So it's not recommanded in low diff.
    This is not STD or Mania!
  2. 전체적으로 OD를 한 단계씩 높여주는 것이 오리지날 다운 방법이라고 생각합니다. 솔직히 저도 그냥 다 5로 설정해두고 싶은 마음은 굴뚝같지만, 초보자들에게는 5도 판정이 좀 빡셀수가 있습니다.
    I think that it's the way like original taiko to increase the OD one step at every diff.

Actually, checked things related to storyboard in this map is all for showing 16:9 video properly and I think, it can be a proper reason to use it. Changed by some reasons.

Hmm, It's my opinion about 1/6 patterns on Gen's Oni.

You took Jerry's beatmap as an example. but It actually cannot explain in case of your beatmap. in Jerry's map, 1/6 stream is used on a faint vibration sound but yours is not. Depending on how to take it, there probably can be stream. but it's not feeling there should be 1/6 rhythm.

  2. Removed storyboard files (It's not necessary anymore)
  3. Adjusted background position due to above thing.
  4. Disabled Widescreen Support due to above thing.

Nothing to suggest on the Kantan, Futsuu, Muzukashii and Gen's Oni

  1. 01:09:264 (302) - I'm suggesting you to change this don for a kat, it fits better with your current pattern and by looking at the Muzu and the Inner Oni, you added a kat in here as well. Some consistency is always welcomed.
