Dissonant Existence V1


Ever since I started mapping, I always yearned to become the mightiest PP mapper there has ever been. Looking up to my inspirations I started my journey in this cruel and cold mapping community. I started by mapping some weeb trash music and some DnB but later came to the conclusion that mapping these genres would never bring me closer to my PP mapping goal. I decided that mapping the music I honestly enjoyed would be the way to go.

My first big hit on the PP mapping scene was Waldschrein (521pp HDHR SS). It's rhythm was perfect for overspaced jumps and a few long streams. It was the ideal song for the biggest PP. In the end I realized that only 350pp for NoMod SS wasn't enough and started making my second project.

My second project was March of War / Axe of Judgement (635pp HR SS). The rhythms were decent for a PP map but in the end, I failed to provide the maximum PP that song had to offer. The overall difficulty of the map ended up being too high whilst the SR was relatively low. The BPM is also a big factor in this one. I think this is one of the biggest failures in my PP mapping career and I particularly don't like to talk about it.

The map you're looking at now is called Tetrastructural Minds (514pp NoMod SS). I originally submitted this as my first metal genre map and later around that time came to the conclusion that it just wasn't good enough for the ranked category back then and decided to grave it. It spent a good ~5 months being graved after I decided to give it another go. Remapped it with the intention of it being the biggest PP I've yet to produce. It's rhythm was actually really bad for PP mapping due to it's complex guitar and drum patterns but in the end I managed to make it quite farmable for the top players. This is my greatest PP by far.

I still feel like I haven't achieved the grand goal I'm striving for. There are still many great PP mapping foes ahead but I plan to take all of them down one by one. You just wait, I'll become the greatest PP mapper this game has ever seen!

02:30:724 i think you should make kick sliders to all the deep kicks because it kind of feels odd that some have and some don't but still this is a sugestion

Mulle voi kyllä puhua aiva suomeaki, mutta siis juttuhan on se, että sillä hitsoundilla mä vaan hitsoundaan rytmiä ja sitte niihin kickslidereihin on se oma normal-hitwhistle5 jotka mappaa ja hitsoundaa kitaraa.

General - Why does RSI have to be a tag? i don't think that is necessary by any means

General - AR9.7 just seems akward, maybe 9.8 would be good for HR players, but i recommend just upscaling to AR10

General - OD9 is super harsh, even considering the map at hand, try backing it down a bit.

other than those things, i can't find anything wrong, i wish you luck with getting this Qualified!

I see several places where kiai timer is suepr short, you should probably make it longer or move it elsewhere altogether.
