Allgemeines zum spacing

Durch die ganze map hindurch gibt es komische Overlaps, wie z.B. 00:09:252 (4,7) -, 00:13:364 (1,4) -, 00:14:734 (7,8,10,12) -, 00:16:257 (2,4) - usw. Zusätzlich sind mehrfach unregelmäßigkeiten beim Spacing vorhanden, wie bei 00:12:602 (8,9,10,11) - oder 00:15:039 (8,10,12) -. Alle solche Fälle sollten in einer Beatmap nicht vorhanden sein und entfernt werden.
Allem in allem solltest du mal versuchen, mehr auf overlapping zu achten, mehr gleichmäßige Distanzen zu benutzen, was z.B. durch entfernen von Gridsnap und mehr Distancesnap erreicht werden kann.

00:08:338 (5,1) - This jump was weird to play and the slider overlapping 00:08:186 (4) doesn't look good as well. Place the slider somewhere else or give it a curving that is nearly blanketing 00:08:186 (4).
00:09:252 (4,5) - This obtuse angle does neither fit the music nor the object placement before. I would suggest making the slider end above the starting point of the slider
00:14:125 (4) - This slider wasn't good to read because it gets overlapped by 00:13:364 (1)
00:15:800 (1) - Sliders like these don't really look good and it seems like the really old mapping style. Just use normal curved sliders instead.
00:16:562 (4,5,6,7) - Same thing with those obtuse angles, mentioned above. Make the angles sharper
00:23:871 (4,5) - ^
00:27:526 (11,12,13) - This jump doesn't play well because of the sudden change of angles (sharp - obtuse - sharp, doesn't play well). You can basically fix this by putting 00:27:678 (12) nearer to the bottom.
00:29:201 (3) - Same thing mentioned above with the "old style sliders". I guess you know which sliders look like that so I won't point that out again.
00:36:054 (2) - Not a good use of flow. Doing something like this: http://puu.sh/kpPHM/a1658a3053.jpg would give better flow that fits the music better.
00:36:663 (3) - Basically, more slider point emphasize the slider but this is an overuse of them. A normal wobbly slider like this: http://puu.sh/kpPNN/50adb76db4.jpg would have the same effect (but you might want to slow the slider velocity down for this)
00:38:947 (5) - Doing something like this would create a nice oval flow.
00:39:404 (6,7) - Obtuse angle again. Make it sharper.
00:43:211 (2,3,4) - This pattern doesn't look well.
00:44:277 (6,7,8,9,1) - Same with those obtuse angles. I won't point that out again, you should know what's the issue with them now.
00:46:638 (2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,1) - This spacing is probably too much for this difficulty but a normal accelerating stream that gets the same spacing at the end would fit
00:51:130 (5) - Not good to read because of the overlap.

01:01:638 (1) - Yeah, mentioned above, just change it to a normal wobbly slider.
01:04:379 (12,1) - This jump doesn't play good because of the angles, make the angle sharper.
01:11:003 (2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9) - Too much spacing but a normal accelerating stream that gets the same spacing at the end would fit

00:01:489 (3,4,5,1) - Die sind ziemlich schwer zu readen, wenn die unter denen davor gestackt sind. Ich würde sie etwas nach unten bewegen.
00:05:552 (8) - lösch den, kopier 00:05:239 (7) - und drück STRG+H um den Perfekt zu spiegeln
00:08:338 (8) - der overlap ist nicht schön, also entweder etwas nach unten und links bewegen oder auf 00:08:034 (6) - stacken

00:08:490 (6) - neue combo weg

Joa eigentlich wiederholen sich von da an nur noch die selben Fehler wie inkonstante Combos (die eigentlich nie über 10 gehen sollten finde ich) und unsaubere Overlaps.
Du hast bestimmt jetzt so ungefähr rausgekriegt was ich mit den unsauberen Overlaps meine, dass das: http://prntscr.com/b4utxw einfach viel besser aussieht als http://prntscr.com/b4uu87
Allgemein von den Hitsounds sowie vom Rhythmus hast du das Lied recht gut getroffen.
Falls du noch Fragen zum Verlauf von NCs hast im Part für den ich jetzt zu faul war, weil sich die Fehler einfach weiderholen, kannst du mir ne PN in-game schicken :D

00:07:114 (3) - nach der Note bei dem roten Timingpunkt muss eine Note hin; man hört deutlich etwas
00:22:044 (1) - den Slider auf den roten Tick kürzen, das verwirrt beim Spielen
00:46:942 (1) - Wenn du es kannst, wäre ein Stream, der mit kleinem Spacing anfängt und dann jede Note bisschen weiter auseinander geht ideal, ist aber nur mein Geschmack
00:58:440 (5,6) - Beide Noten bisschen nach oben, damit man das etwas besser erkennen kann
00:58:744 (6) - Die Note dann minimal drüber oder drunter, ist aber nicht notwendig
01:20:521 (1) - Den Slider kannst du mit einem roten Punkt knicken, in welche Richtung kannst du entscheiden, falls es für dich auch besser aussieht
01:20:749 (2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1,2,3) - Auch wieder den Stream wie vorhin beschrieben verändern, wieder nur Geschmackssache
01:11:688 (9) - evtl den Stream an den Slider anknüpfen und die Lücke mit einer Note noch füllen

Und dann die Slider so stufenweise lassen, aber die linken Slider solltest du dann um ein Kästchen(bei der feinsten Einstellung vom Gitter) nach oben setzen, damit das nicht so 100% gerade aussieht (meine Meinung) Ich erklär das gerne nochmal genauer, falls es unverständlich ist
00:57:221 (9) - bisschen weiter nach außen, damit das weniger verwirrt
00:57:374 (1) - Der Hitsound Übergang ist etwas zu heftig. Nimm für die Note noch einen lauteren Wert (60-70% ist meiner Meinung nach ok)

Und dann noch was für den Schluss: Ich weiß nicht wieso das so wirkt, aber es sieht so zufällig platziert aus. Evtl eine Struktur oder sowas entwickeln, aber ich habe dafür keinen genauen Vorschlag

Since I'm new to modding i couldn't really find many issues. What I really suggest you doing is adding custom colours, maybe similar to the background colours, could be a nice touch but don't choose the same colours because the objects will blend in to the BG so try different shades.

The other thing would be that, this map has a really good flow most of the time but than you suddenly break it, like here for example:01:04:531 (1,2) - and here 01:22:196 (3,4) - etc. These seem a bit out of the place but maybe it's just me.

I'm sorry i could not help you much this way so I don't think it's worth a kudosu, but i'll shoot a star at this map to at least help you out somehow. I like this song and you mapped this pretty good too. ^_^

Some parts are quite dynamic in the way you map the vocals, a lot of changes in note consistency happen which will throw of newbie players, since they're used to consistent note hits akin to a metronome. I would make sure some parts have a longer consistency so they know what to click to. 00:37:729 (1,2,3,4,1) this is a good example of how many changes happen in note clicking and timing between each note.

00:06:177 (4) - I would consider a new combo from the guitar emphasis that's put on, will suit it nicely :P

00:13:364 (1) - I think bringing this slider down and making a curve on the first part of it to blanket the previous slider would look nice.

Overall, I think there are many places in which sliders aren't done too well and don't look too nice, some examples I will put here:



The point I try to make in showing these is the fact they don't look professionally made due to how jagged they look in places and that one end is larger than the other, it doesn't fit well with how the music is portrayed as it doesn't warrant something like that.

However, remember that is just my opinion and you're welcome to reject and leave it as it is, but I would check the map and polish anything you see and take example of recently ranked maps and see how they form sliders and note structures.

Similar reasons to above, things such as inconsistent spacing make it look like the map is mostly unpolished and not done to a degree of rankability. Taking a look at how astringent the rank criteria is and how the quality of maps must be you need to make sure everything is done perfectly, I saw a star jump at the beginning with inconsistent spacing between each of them and overall it doesn't look nice and feels awkward to play due to the inconsistency in the spacing.


I don't want to dissect your map and find everything so I will show you this as an example and as I said above I would check ranked maps and see how they're made along with how notes are placed with certain elements to them.

00:30:572 (1) - I would curve the first part more to allow a better flow of the cursor between this slider and also to pronounce the upcoming blanket more.

00:46:409 (2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - This diff spike is really questionable since it alone accounts for 0.1 of the whole star rating in just a couple seconds, I would condense the spacing and try to use 1/4 to offset the spike in difficulty that comes with it.

I can't effective mod the upper two difficulties well due to skill restrictions, I apologise for that. Overall I think the overall quality of your map needs to be assessed and more mods are needed to get this to rank quality. Other than that I wish the best for your map and good luck.

  1. Are the SV changes necessary? I mean, they're not really needed, especially on easier difficulties like this one.
  2. 00:23:110 (1,3) - The overlap of these two is a bit unsettling for me. The hit icon (300, etc) from 00:23:110 (1) - is still on when 00:25:546 (3) - is drawn.
  3. 00:33:008 (3) - Based from previous NC pattern, this should be left with a NC.
  4. 00:35:445 (4) - This is fine, but I highly suggest breaking this down to two sliders.

01:10:775 (1,2,3,4,5) - replace the first slider with a hit, then have a triplet minislider instead of this slider-circle-slider thing. Then add one extra circle before what is now (4), to lead up to the final repeat slider and still follow the drums. It doesn't fit well with the difficulty IMO to have this slider note slider twice in a row.

Overall: I like the increased spacing in this difficulty, but it's a bit of a jump up from Advanced in that sense. This'd be fixed by slightly upping the spacing in that one. The density fits and I like the pacing, but there's more individual bits that could use work, as I mentioned above.

Map has potential, the higher diffs are great, I think, so work on the issues here and you'll have a great overall map. (modded right before you updated, hopefully you can still work out what I meant in each case and it didn't affect too much)
