Classic Remmy Mod
This means that I will be going by the older, stricter standards of mapping. Any comments I make may not be rankability issues, but rather tips and suggestions to making your map to be of better quality. You may not agree with all of them, but that's okay! Give or take a few of them and try it, you might be surprised~

Easy:
This is actually a very solid Easy difficulty. The only suggestions I would really make would be to raise the circle size a bit, and fix the distance between notes so it's not so cluttered after the resize. (when watching the auto play, it looked like a medium in size.) EDIT: actually the clutter isnt that bad with 1.0x distance snap.

Normal:
aaaaaaaaaaaahhh small notes, no thank you! :cry: The circle size you had in Easy works best here. Other than that this is very fun

SG's Normal:
Very nice build up to the chorus! No problems here.]

Taiko Normal:
Never done a taiko mod, but here goes.
Bit slow, but great for a beginner to taiko!

CDFA is Hard:
Great on hitsounds. The large jumps during the chorus seem unnecessary though, but they are missing near the end? I recommend keeping one or the other.

Abomination:
Oh boy. I really hope this isnt like Joker, you remember my reaction to that.

Okay this isn't as bad as I thought. First thing that popped out to me was the lack of hitsounds (outside of the low pop) during the beginning. Some soft whistles or claps would go nicely in there with the rhythm you have.

02:04:954 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10) - I see what you were trying to do there, but by 8,9,10 it started to get ugly. :( Try keeping with the "steps" and avoid going vertical, as it became hard to follow

03:39:072 (1,2,3) - While this looks nice in the editor, in play mode the stack looks off balance :(. I recommend moving this stack just below the previous notes.

While this isnt my favorite map of yours (HOTT comes to mind), its very nicely done, and I can mostly follow insane, aside from the notes i made above.

EDIT2: yea, Taiko Oni looks fine to me :)

Well, as far as I can see you have lots of notes placed on offbeats. It's not that bad if you know this song or are playing something Normal-ish, but it can be difficult enough for beginners. Anyway, it's too late to fix almost errything (also it might be just me) so let's continue.
  1. 00:47:783 (3) - soft clap sounds strange, I'd still use S:C1
  2. 00:48:826 (2,3,4,1) - I really dislike the way these things look together, so here's my suggestion: http://osu.ppy.sh/ss/423277 (mind also the timeline)

Yea, after a second look, its slightly weird but it works. I think it'll be fine, it appears one way.

After an irc mod of inconsistent tags/source/preview point and after fixing some hidden sliders, consider this bubbled.

For the next modder: catmull shapes are okay and the band's name is correct even if it isnt capitalized (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A-ha for details).

For my opinion, this spacing is too harsh for this kind of song and doesnt fit. But well, this could be just me.

00:33:705 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - this is too confusing for me. If you could rearrange them (like swapping their order to push) it would increase the flow and readability a LOT.
03:38:811 (9,1,2,3) - srsly, this is a too harsh antijump now. The whole diff is like "loljumpjumpjump" and suddenly, THIS. Increase spacing.


[Taiko Normal]

Where is the Muzukashii? Well, okay. I don't mind it. COnsider calling it "Futsuu" and remove the "Taiko" out of the diff name. Instead, add "taiko" to the tags.

Consider renaming it to name it "Taiko Hard" or "Muzukashii" (I prefer latter), since it's not hard enough to be Oni and because since we have the icons, there is no need to name something "Taiko blabla" anymore.

Why do I get the feeling that no one actually bothered reading what I said as to why I made the Abomination difficulty. I guess I can summarize it very easily.

I do not believe that this map needed a standard difficulty of higher level than Normal. There is nothing wrong with having a mapset that doesn't have a hard or insane map, and it was intended to be for beginner players. After being told for the fourth time that a BAT did not want to bubble/rank my map because it didn't have an insane, I attempted to make an insane that was technically rankable (I refuse to map purely unrankable things) but would be SO BAD that the BAT modding would say "ok I will rank it if you just remove this difficulty called Abomination."

Much to my dismay, no one made that statement and the mapset was ranked with Abomination still in there. It is, however, an example of me intentionally abusing artificial difficulty within the guidelines for ranking out of frustration at the closed-mindedness of the people modding my map, and I would appreciate if people would keep that in mind while judging it...
