Come on break it down for me!

Full version of the ED of the first season of Seraph of the End (Owari no Seraph). I'm going for ranked, so pls let me know if you have any suggestions. I'd be really grateful for mods/advice/tips :)

Heyo! saw timing request thingy

offset is noticably off atm, try 356
also for the bpm its actually 78 it seems since theres only a new acutally musical sentence every other beat, I think theres a ranked map aswell on this but im on mobile so can't really find it but would check the bpm there aswell if it matches.
78 to 156 change might mess up your slidervelocity thingy so that'd prob need to be 2.4 instead of 1.2 in order for the svs to remain the same

General:

Not sure why you decided to make an entire spread for a 5 minute song, since it already has enough drain time but I admire your dedication.

Maybe lower AR on Hard to 6-7

Lower AR on Insane to 8 and change od to something like 6




No escaPE:

od9 is a little high lmao, something like 7-7.5 is better

same with hp7.5

00:01:317 (4) - this ends on a pretty strong sound, which should be clickable imo, maybe try this or this?

00:02:855 (3,4,5,1) - fix triangles pls; If you wanna make patterns like triangles / squares / etc. it's usually better to just place two circles, copy them, paste them few ticks later and rotate it by a certain degree (120 degrees for a triangle) and then stack it with the previously placed notes; you gotta delete one of the last 2 circles tho (hope you get what I mean lol)

00:05:548 - why skip this ._.

00:10:548 (4) - same as 00:01:317 (4) -

00:13:048 - this break doesn't make sense considering it's the same as previously

00:17:182 (2) - I think you snapped this wrong?

00:26:798 (1) - delet this; there are a lot of 1/8 notes that don't make sense to me, check them again

00:36:894 (1) - again, this ends on a really strong sound, don't do this

01:25:740 (5,6,1,3) - these are very loud, space them more (and the 1/8s are overmapped again ._.)

01:57:279 (1) - this is good, since it emphasizes the sound it starts on

02:20:355 (1) - I personally would delete this spinner, you can keep it if you want though

02:33:817 (7) - there is a strong sound on the repeat and again, it should be clickable

02:45:355 (3,4,5,6,1,3) - same as 01:25:740 (5,6,1,3) -

03:08:048 (1) - that looks kinda bad lol

03:18:817 (1) - delet this

03:29:971 (4,5) - try this maybe?

03:42:086 - this sound is covered by the slider, but it should be clickable imo

04:14:586 (8) - this is unrankable (also the sliderend should be silent; you can do that by adding a green line with 5% volume on the slidertail, don't forget to add another green line with normal volume after that though; but that's a different story)


It's mostly the kind of stuff I pointed out already, just in a lot of different places, so I won't list everything.

Also try to get some kind of NC pattern into your map, don't NC after patterns, NC after "changes" in the song or a repeating sound.

Most of your 1/8 parts don't make any sense at all to me, actually 04:39:009 (3,4,5,6,7,8,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,1) - is the only one that does.

You have some nice ideas tho

  1. Such dedication, full set for a 5 min map, real mvp here.
  2. Change the black combo color to a light gray, because with background dimmed 100% can't see the approach circle.

  1. 01:00:355 Don't really think that a spinner here would be a good idea for normal, especially since it goes by kinda fast, will probably make the player lose their sense of... Rhythm? Consistency? Can't find the right word, but hope you get what I mean ;; Could change it to a long slider.
  2. 01:13:432 (4) Could be blanketed a little bit better
  3. 01:35:548 (5) Don't see much of a reason for this slider here, you can make a reverse slider with 01:34:971 (4) Instead.
[Hard]
  1. 00:18:432 (7) Shift it to be in front of the slider after it, looks a bit nicer.
  2. 01:29:779 (2) Move the slider end a bit up so that it goes a bit diagonal like the slider above it so that it can match. I think that it'll look good that way.
  3. 04:07:663 Instead of one single slider, why not make it a reverse slider too? To catch the sounds of the drums that also play there.
  4. 04:27:279 Why not capture the sounds of the drums here too? Maybe place 2 circles and then a slider, like this?

  1. You can reduce the map size, so that it's lower than 10MB, by converting the PNG files into JPEG, same as the others. It'd save much space.

[Insane]

Firstly, starting putting notes from 00:14:202 - doesn't really makes sense actually. Because, I can't figure out what do you map for the start. If you map intended to map to the vocals, it should be from 00:13:817 - since there's where the vocals started. And if you're intending to map the consistent 1/2 instruments, you should've mapped from the beginning of the song instead.

  1. 00:48:240 (4,5,6,1,2,3) - I'm not really sure about this, if you compare this part to the highest diff, this's much more harder in pressing because of the single note spams there.
  2. 00:35:740 (1,2) - May I know the reason why you mapped these two sliders even though it should be a little more intense than 00:34:779 (2,3,4,5,6) - ? And also compared to 01:51:509 (1,2,3,4) - , the first one is much more harder. Consider making them has the same rhythm for consistency.
  3. 02:26:509 (7,8,9,10) - Seems overmapped, there're no sounds on 02:26:605 - 02:26:798 - , etc... Consider making them have 1/2 rhythms.
  4. 04:09:971 (3,1) - Are these wrongly NC-ed? You NC-ed every 4 measures and this breaks the consistency. How about swapping the NCs?
  5. 04:51:125 (5) - NC here? For consistency.
  6. About the rhythm, it could be improved imo. And actually some of them are pretty questionable, like 04:27:279 (1) - and 00:48:817 (1,2,3) - . The drums at 00:48:817 (1,2,3) - are much more lighter compared to 04:27:279 (1) - yet, you made 04:27:279 (1) - a 1/2 reversed slider which will make the rhythmings inconsistent.
