We depend on the API ppy provides. If the API allows non top scores, then it's up to kert to implement it.

The API gives scores for all mod combinations if you do a get_scores call specifically for a single user and beatmap combination, so it should be possible to retrieve those scores when inputting things manually.

Not sure if it's entirely the same, but PP+ is able to do it somehow, so I'd assume osu!skills would too.

Took a look at the api. The "Toy achieved rank #1 on map" are possible get using /api/get_user, and would provide a way to know which map to get scores for beyond the top 100. One downside is that you have to open the player's skills page once a month since the events go no further back than 31 days.

osu!Skills now supports browsing from mobile phone / tablet devices.

Refresh page / shift-f5 / clean cache if something looks broken for you.
Please, use a modern browser like Chrome / Firefox if you still see problems.

just a suggestion about the skill bar.
it would be good if the bar have layers,
like if the skill points reach 1k it will blue but from 1001- 2k it will refill it but with different collour, just like fighter game that have HP layer. about the layer collour, you guys decide it.
but after recent update it's still good tbh, i don't think my suggestion is neccesarry anymore.

Took a look. There is no immediate solution to this. The formula correctly gives an enormous skill value for the sliders at the end:



It's just that the formula spits out a single value for a map, which is like a million or something, and then another formula applies the player's score/combo/acc whatever to it, and the result still ends up high. If the player gets FC, then it is worth all those 2k skill points, however that is nowhere near FC. I can make no single curve that would apply to all maps and this. The curve for this map specifically is very, very steep between a couple misses and FC because only those sliders at the end are the actual hard bits.

There is a possible fix for calculating this correctly, but I don't think it's going to happen soon.

HT on memory can be used to exploit some sort of length bonus, dunno how intended it is but it can be pretty significant

Skill improvement system is now live!
Check "Training" section under "Tools"


You can now improve your skills by playing maps at your skill level.
Map search is very customizable with a bunch of presets that will make your choice easier.
You can also include / block / ignore specific mods used for maps from search results.

Search is limited by 25 random maps fitting skill/mod criteria currently. That also means that if you do the search once again with the same settings new maps can appear in the results.

Doesn't seem to work correctly for me. Under "Recently Added" are plays from 2013-2014, even though I didn't play back then. I had this problem on PP+ as well.

I just try the training it working great so far, the suggest map are a bit hard for my level but not unplayable that's make it's challenge to play for improvement

Try Relaxed preset if you want a bit easier maps

Everything is good except the recaptcha. Takes an age to tweak the settings when you have that come up every time. I know some websites have it come up once every hour or so instead. Is this possible?

i was with 54 memory skill
it decreased to 46 by removing one of my FL scores...
i also have alot of FL/EZ scores that osu!skill can't read...

There any way to select the MOD when Add an Score? it would be nice

How do we add loved maps? I've been trying to manually submit a play that keeps entering the queue but never actually updates my profile.

Something can be done once Kert reduces the time it takes to look up skill data for maps

iirc osu!skills takes highest score you have on the map. I don't know if there are any plans to fix that.

Skills are the replacement for stars in our system, so that would be a bit silly. Have you tried increasing the skill settings?

I could bring mania into osu!skills if I want to. However, I don't think that is the best way going forward. 3 years ago, osu!skills became a thing because we were unhappy with how pp was and there was no available opportunity to fix it. The only other option was to create a 3rd party service for a fix. Now, osu!'s performance and star rating dev is an ongoing open source project and we are finally provided an opportunity to officially integrate a new system into osu!. As a result, sooner or later there should not be a need of having a 3rd party difficulty/pp/SR calculation service. If any new additions be made, I'd rather focus implementing the skills officially into Lazer.

*Note these are my opinions and may not necessarily reflect Kert's

Dark mode needs to be fixed, since everytime i reload the page or click a link, it flashes white everytime because its not in dark mode by default. It's just unsettling to have it on unless you want to suffer from epilepsy.

The formula of memory is simply ridiculous. Jumps are too overrated.

Some Examples:
Okuyatos - Kind Lady (Ekaru) [Amateur] +HRFL (100%) - 383 points
AR4 111 combo. Slow jumps, which not that hard to read by followpoints and because of AR4

Steriogram - Walkie Talkie Man (LuigiHann) [Cruisin'] +HRFL (99.39%) - 399 points
Same stuff. Slow jumps with low AR

27.4beats - hate me ([ White Music ]) [Advanced] +HDHRFL (99.51%) - 134 points even with HD.
AR 8.68 261 combo

Possible solutions:
- Increase the bonus for HD
- Reduce the points of maps with a small combo (less than 200-250)
- Reduce the points of maps with a very low AR (2-6)
- Reduce the impact of jumps
- Focus more on speed and AR

I just want to be able to choose which scores I wan't displayed when I have multiple scores on a map. I am tired of my less important DT scores overwriting my hard earned FL scores.

Do you have a higher score for those maps using other mods? If so, it won't add because the system can't tell apart different scores by mods. If not, have you tried adding them manually? If so, link one that doesn't want to add manually so we can check it out.

They are the highest scores and I have tried to add them manually. I will add a few examples.

My best guess is that the algorithm sees their memory value as 0 and doesn't bother to add them. They can be 0 if all hitobject are visible from the previous hitobject (including approach circle). What mods did you use?
