  2. 01:08:031 (3) - Since you stacked this note, it causes a squished sort of transition from 2 to 3. I recommend this pattern instead using the same notes (maybe find a different spot for 01:08:717 (1) - if you do this):
  3. 01:16:602 (4) - A bit of low spacing for a clap. I suggest moving it further to the left.
  4. 01:36:145 (1) - Same as above. However, move 6 to stack on 4 to create a better circular movement.
  5. 01:51:231 (1) - I want to see this jump put further away. I mean, it's the finale right? Compared to some of the other patterns, this is low spacing.

  1. 00:44:888 (3) - Is this shape really necessary? If you want to keep it, at least make it less cramped up.
  2. Hm, it's alright, just some weird flow and positioning.

  1. 00:33:060 (5,2) - Parallel?
  2. 00:45:402 (1) - Woah, why is this placed so high up in the field. Move it down, there's plenty of room.
  3. 00:56:374 (1) - Same sort of deal here. I wonder why you placed it here, there's more space towards the top or left from 3. It's really weird to place it back over where you've already had notes.
  4. 01:06:488 (4) - This has the highest spacing of this combo, but has nothing in the music to suggest it. Double check this.
  5. 01:18:660 (1) - I don't believe this needs an NC
  6. 01:51:231 (1) - Same as in Stay Alive

Suggestion and Explanation


-Ctrl+G these sliders 01:09:060 (3,4) - so the flow stays while playing.
-To fix the other notes after these sliders, you can move 01:09:745 (5) - above 01:09:060 (3) - and 01:09:917 (6) - at x:203 y:206. This allows it to play smoothly to 01:10:088 (1) - , since it is also a reverse slider, the flow can be redirected to your next note, 01:10:602 (2) - , which will be right over 01:09:917 (6) - , making it look cleaner. http://puu.sh/ld22H/c15a13ae8c.jpg

01:26:545 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - Try making this into a triangle (http://puu.sh/ld2k8/6a74e0b097.jpg) to make it look aesthetically pleasing. I like it the way it is, no change.

01:48:488 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - Here, you can make a nice pattern. Already changed it myself.
Explanation


-By making this kind of pattern with 01:48:488 (1,2,3,4) - , you can change it up a bit by making a star with 01:49:174 (5,6,7,8,1) - ( http://puu.sh/ld2Hm/efb4809784.jpg ). I think this would be very neat and flow nicely.

General Stuff
The map has really nice patterns and I like to see that. A little more polishing and cleaning, it'll be a great map from what I can tell.
Also: Reason why I didn't mod the lower diffs is because I don't know how to mod Hards, Normal, Easy, etc. ;w; Is fine. :) Thank you for the mod!

  • I highly recommend AR3.1-3.5 here because it isn't the most loose Easy ever and the density is still progressively growing.
  1. 00:39:917 (1) - A clap at the head of it should probably he removed here and should be placed 00:40:602 (2) - here, am I right?
  2. 01:00:488 (3,4) - It feels a bit odd that there are claps at those sliders but not on the rest of the previous section. Maybe remove claps from here? I guess it would make more sense and would be more consistent.
  3. 01:40:260 (1) - According to your hitsounding the end of the slider shouldn't be hitsounded with a clap.
  4. To make it feel more powerful/dramatic you could add a finish at 01:46:431 (1) - or maybe a finish at 01:45:745 (5) - and a whistle at 01:46:431 (1) - : D
Normal
  1. Again, accurate AR will be very troublesome for new players because approach circles appear very slowly when the density of the notes is even higher than previously and it's not that helpful to recognize what to click now when you have a whole bunch of notes to understand. This time I recommend AR5.5-5.8.
  2. 01:18:317 (1,2,3,1,2,3) - It's very silent here, I think you forgot to add a whistle or two somewhere in this section. D:
  3. 01:23:802 (1,2,3,1,2,3) - ^
  4. 01:29:288 - From here till the end there are only one whistle, drum and normal kicks and one finish at the end and nothing more. I advise to use some more whistles to make it alive because it's boring without it. :V

A very personal suggestion from me about Insane and the hardest diff. How about AR8.8 for Insane and AR9.3 for the highest diff?

00:34:088 (6,7,1) - The spacing between 5-6 is understandable since there's a whole beat pause, but the spacing for 1 is somewhat underwhelming since it's a pretty strong beat but it has the same spacing as 6-7 (it's basically the same since it's just a .1 difference .3.)
00:41:288 (3,4) - You could blanket this a little better but I don't think it matters too much
00:43:688 (3,4,5) - Try to emphasize 4 more?
01:07:345 (1,2) - 01:08:202 (4,5) - Why is the spacing for 1,2 smaller than 4,5 when the beat is equally as strong, I feel like you can easily fix this by making 2 a bit farther
01:09:402 (4,5,6,1) - Wrong emphasis here, there is no indication on 6 for you to make it a jump, but there is a strong beat on 5, so basically make 5 a jump and don't make 6 a jump, but at the same time keep the jump between 6 and 1
01:11:117 (5,6,1) - Basically the same thing, the space between 4-5 is smaller than 5-6 but yet 5 is a stronger note than 6
01:31:345 (3,4,5) - Okay so for this one, I feel like 4 can be emphasized more, it's a red tick but there are pretty strong vocals, jump between 4-5 is fine tho
01:32:888 (4,5,6) - 5 should be emphasized with the large jump, not 6
01:42:660 (6,1) - Blanket can be improved but it's w/e

  1. There is a unused osb in your folder
  2. congrats on a qualify, i'm here cuz irre told me to mod qualified maps if i want to see higher quality maps ranked so if you agree with the points i bring up here you should take the opportunity to change them, otherwise I'd just like to hear what you think about my thoughts about this

  1. 01:10:088 (1) - 01:15:574 (1,2) - 01:18:660 (2,3,4) - 01:24:145 (2,3) - are basically like 1:1 the same thing in the music and you mapped them differently each time you encountered it, it's not like none of your rhythms is terrible or something like that but the way you vary which sounds to place clickable notes on here doesn't make much sense to me:
    sometimes you decide to have the white tick not clickable (on a sliderend) like 01:10:431 - 01:15:917 - 01:43:345 - and in literally all other cases you decided it's better if the player has to click these sounds
    for last one the reason is probably vocals but I can't come up with a really good explanation for the first two
  2. similarly to the point above these also seem a bit contradictory to have:
    01:11:117 (5,6,1) - 01:16:602 (4,1) - 01:22:088 (5,1) - 01:33:060 (5,6,1) - as you can see most *hopefully all* of these are identical things in the music, but sometimes you decide to skip 01:16:774 - 01:22:260 - by either leaving it out or putting a circle on it and for the most time you just keep mapping 1/2 rhythms over it
    due to that these 2 01:22:088 (5,1) - 01:16:602 (4,1) - stick out a lot but i can't really find a reason for you to highlight them like this nor do i find a reason why you don't do this again idk
  3. o yes 01:18:317 (1,2,3) - i don't really get why this is stacked and so small in comparison to 01:21:402 (2,3) - 01:29:631 (3,4) - 01:35:117 (3,4) -
  4. 01:40:260 (1,2,3) - this, more than most other patterns really looks like you ran out of space to put your circles at so you jsut did super close spacing opposed to everthing else idk
idk i could continue this list with things you can compare which are done really differently while being kinda the same thing, but I guess I'll leave it at that because I'd be wasting a lot time if you don't agree with me on these.
Basically im not really against doing something different for the same musical pattern (especially on dnb songs) but doing something different nearly every time you encounter that musical pattern makes it seem that you either weren't aware of it that much and these aren't 100% intended.

I agree with everything stated by Okoratu. That difficulty needs still a lot of improvement. Isn't "bad" for your first set, at all... but definitely not for a spot on the rankings.

You have a lot of inconsistencies throughout the map. I'm not talking specifically on the ones Oko has already mentioned. Spacing issues as well. He talked a lot of rhythm-wise, so here I'm to talk about spacing and jumps. Probably will give a talking about patternship as well.
Let's start with the worse things, so you can relax yourself later on.

  1. You are using whistles on the correct spots... but they sound too loud and that gives a bad experience, as the players aren't able to listen to the music properly. The whistle isn't the best option for the kind of beat you are mapping, but you make it work. Just regulate the volume.
  2. 01:50:374 (1,2,3,4,5,6,1) - This really looks awful. Very bad, to be honest. Especially that (1,2,3,4), even if you used the transform slider into stream, it doesn't look like that, seems like you manually placed every note. That's not a bad idea as long as the stream is well-build around your map, but this is just disorganized. In case you want to make something creative and gimmicky, you could have done something similar to https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/3977271 that. Isn't that best option, but definitely looks better, especially with HR. Compare that with something like 01:28:431 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - , there's an enourmous difference.
  3. 01:26:545 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - 01:48:488 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - These patterns not only play bad due to the fact that they can be easily misread as 1/4 due to how they have been placed but also are counter-intuitive for a similar reason. If I had to compare each one, you made a lot of mistakes. You mapped them on a build-up section, when the music is getting more and more intense and the song goes on, therefore you want to increase the spacing between each note over and over instead of doing this... thing. It's also very surprising how you mapped them the same with whereas the accentuation change in the music is gigantic. You just can't compare one rhythm with the other one, it just doesn't make any sense, the final is much more stronger.
  4. 01:07:002 (1,2,3,4) - Oko mentioned this previously, but I want to highlight it again. The way you are mapping this is incorrect, but why? It is our personal preference? A whim? Not at all. Music is about to enter on its momentum, on the hyped thing, it's the Kiai approaching in a nutshell!! https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/3977345 this is just a reference, you can use it, if you want, but you are not forced to follow my style.
  5. 01:04:602 - 01:07:002 (1,2,3,4) - Lower the volume on these streams to 50%, they sound too loud in comparison to the music as a whole. But you can (optional) increase it on 01:05:974 - for that pattern up to 60%. Volume is important, you don't want to overshadow the music with the hitsounds, and vice versa, you don't want to let hitsounds become inaudible, either.
  6. Another thing that must be mentioned as well are anti-jumps and how inconsistent they are. They don't have a clear path nor are being justified with the music. I can give you a whole explanation if you want, but that'd be pointless, because pretty much everywhere there's a random anti-jump followed by more than one jump, and that can make players do awkward movements as well as causing them misses just for not being able to understand where should they move later on.
  7. Stacks are as well inconsistent. I'm talking about the back-and-forths specifically, though. Let me give you a couple of examples. 01:24:831 (5,6) - that random stack doesn't fit at all, why would you do that? It is because you think the song isn't strong enough particularly on (6)? Then what about 01:29:288 - when the music has the same intensity and rhythm and the jumps are way more bigger? What was that choice of mapping 01:29:288 (1,2,3,4) - as circles instead of sliders? Diversity? Alright, fine, we can live with that. But, boy those jumps are too different from the other section... very different in terms of placement and spacing. Regarding back-and-forths, they are inconsistent as well, especially if you place them during a jump-y section and on the end of it. You know when you place a jump, you have to move your cursor faster in order to hit the note (doesn't matter if they are small or bigger, you must be accurate in this sense), thus it puts pressure on the player that has to play the pattern. This also means you must place the following object where you think the player is going to be instead of forcing any bad movement. An example of this can be 01:41:460 (7,1) - whereas the player would expect you move where 01:41:802 (2) - is, you placed it on the other side of the map. During the Kiai, jumps and especially the emphasis of each beat is absolutely random and inconsistent.
  8. Regarding anti-jumps (yes, I decided to explain you): Something that I said before applies here as well. You should place them when the music isn't stressed enough therefore the intensity isn't the same as other spots where you could place normal jumps. I'm not going to go in-depth again, but a good place to put something similar to what you are doing on other spots would be 01:47:117 (1,2,3,4) - when the map could perfectly have sliders instead, but in case you want to keep the circles, reduce the distance, since you want to remark the emphasis of every change of accentuation in the music properly, make 01:47:802 - 01:48:488 - be more noticeable. But in this map they just don't fit at all with the music.
  9. Last but not least, the spacing of some 1/2 and 1/4 patterns feel very similar. 01:22:088 (5,1) - 01:39:917 (4,5,1) - 01:42:660 (6,1) - compare them and take your guess!
  10. Take a look at the intensity at the beginning of the map and compare every prominent beat. Remap that if possible, 00:28:945 (1,2) - 00:29:288 (2,3) - 00:29:631 (3,4) - 00:29:974 (4,5) - just take a look at everything and compare the beats and the hitsounds, you will notice that this happens everytime on each pattern throughout the opening.
  11. 00:34:431 - I want to guess that this 100% green line volume isn't intentional.

Up spacing here. Was not a real problem when played it but well...

Also did a full recheck of hitsounds (except Easy), some mistake were present yeah (dunno how they pass tho).
@Yuii- whistle are not that loud imo and fit really well like that with the song. Just first part will be changed for 50% volume.

It looks to me that you've placed 01:00:488 (1,2) - quite low in the field which sets this combo up, and then base the rest of the notes in the combo off of this. Look at your spacings for your previous combos in this part. You've provided plenty for the others, but this part truly is out of sync with the rest. Personally it's just 01:00:488 (1,2,4,5) - this part, where you've essentially stacked 4 of the 6 notes in this combo in the same place.
  3. 01:26:545 (1,2,3,4) - Similar thing here. Considering this is the build up for the next part, it's given some low spacing compared to the other combos. This part is packed full of drum beats, right? It's safe to allow these all to be jumps, especially considering this is the hardest difficulty. And I'm talking in comparison to parts like 01:30:660 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - this, where there are only few strong notes, but the whole thing has much more spacing than that of the previous combo.

• 01:26:545 (1,2,3,4,5,6,1,2,3,4) - It kinda disturbs me that these objects have hitsounding like a build-up but are very boring to play due to very low spacing and the sliderends that are not clickable. You've done it here 01:48:488 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,1,2,3,4) better. Jumps could be a little bit bigger in both parts, but not that much. Maybe 0,2 or something.


[Noz's Insane]

• 01:09:060 (3,4) - Sliders like these play kinda weird imo. But it's still up to you. (and they're kinda ugly too '-' )
• 01:11:802 (2,4,5,6) - What's the reason for not stacking them? It kinda destroys the prettiness of this map.
• 01:37:002 (6,8,2) - Stack the slidertail of (2) on (6) and (8)? Plays a bit better I think.
