seems fine

Insane
00:36:010 (5) - how about nc and some more spacing for this note since it was more emphasized in the music than 00:35:260 (2,3,4) -
00:44:010 (2) - how about moving this up/right to make a trianlge with the sliderstart/end? stacks on tail feels wrong here for some reason
00:47:510 (3) - bit more spacing for emphasis might be nice here, like you did for 00:52:260 (5,6) - etc
00:50:010 (1,2,3,4) - doesnt seem to flow well into the stream, maybe rotate the stream by 60°? http://i.imgur.com/10Kqqnn.jpg
00:54:010 (5,6,1,2) - really sharp angles play bad here imo
01:00:760 (1) - curve this less, such curving for a slider that small look bad
for 01:36:010 (1) - and around that: do you really want to have so many strong piano hits not clickable ;_;
02:13:010 (4,5,6) - angle this wide plays bad here imo
02:35:010 (3) - higher spacing as it is way stronger than 2?

vass
00:36:010 - this is way too strong for a sliderend imo. make it clickable
00:40:010 - ^
00:42:010 (5) - dont you want to put the nc here instead of 00:43:010 (1) - ? current one doesnt make sense
00:44:010 - sliderend thing, wont mention again
00:47:510 (4,1,2,3) - keep the same spacing for the 1/4 gaps here, would play/read better
01:00:010 (1,2,3) - dont feel a straight line is the best representation of music/emphasis/intensity here
01:01:010 (4) - move up to not cover that much of the slider, much nicer to read
01:08:510 (2,3) - same, but it is a bit better here

around 01:26:010 (5) - same as insane for "ignoring" (not clickable) strong piano sounds. but since this is a hard it's probably fine here :/
especially 01:36:010 (1) - 01:40:010 (1) - etc really lacks some clickable stuff imo
and then you map triples on barely audible 1/4 as 01:50:760 (3,4,5) - which doesnt go well with what you did above
02:31:510 (5) - move this to not have it a straight line as it takes much emphasis away from 5 which it shouldnt
02:32:510 (1,2,3) - ^
same for (most) of the other straight lines. dont seem fitting with the music as the last element of the seems to be the strongest musical on placed you used them
02:34:010 (1) - piano not clickable again etc.

normal
00:35:510 - having a sliderend on sth this hard to hear but nothing on 00:35:768 - feels a bit weird
maybe you should put breaks in those long unmapped gaps since current one drains the whole time which seems a bit "unfair" for a normal
besides that this diff looks nice already
good luck!

00:36:010 (5) - how about nc and some more spacing for this note since it was more emphasized in the music than 00:35:260 (2,3,4) - I don't think it is necessary to emphasize it more since the beginning of the music is slow and not as loud and I like the pattern as it is now
00:44:010 (2) - how about moving this up/right to make a trianlge with the sliderstart/end? stacks on tail feels wrong here for some reason - okay
00:47:510 (3) - bit more spacing for emphasis might be nice here, like you did for 00:52:260 (5,6) - etc - well, okay, not a bad idea, but keep in mind that 00:52:260 (5,6) - is way louder so it gives more reason to emphasize it than 00:47:510 (3) - does :P but I changed it a little bit
00:50:010 (1,2,3,4) - doesnt seem to flow well into the stream, maybe rotate the stream by 60°? http://i.imgur.com/10Kqqnn.jpg - okay
00:54:010 (5,6,1,2) - really sharp angles play bad here imo - then show me an example where it plays good
01:00:760 (1) - curve this less, such curving for a slider that small look bad - very subjective...really, but changed it a bit
for 01:36:010 (1) - and around that: do you really want to have so many strong piano hits not clickable ;_; - remapped
02:13:010 (4,5,6) - angle this wide plays bad here imo - then show me what plays good, also I think the angle is fine especially for flow
02:35:010 (3) - higher spacing as it is way stronger than 2? - alright

Hi
  • [General]
  1. Add more tags (metadata, genre etc)
  2. unckeck widescreen support, it is not necessary

  • [Normal]
  1. 00:35:010 (3,4,5) - change spacing in Normal, hmmm
  2. 01:24:010 (1) 00:50:010 (3) - and similar sliderwawes looks is not not in my mind. You can just add red dot at centre of slider, will look better
  3. 01:28:010 (1) - move on 160 176 for symmetry?

  • [Hard]
  1. Я не знаю кто из вас будет отвечать на мод, поэтому напишу на инглише
  2. 01:46:885 (4) -it's overmapped, i am not find sounds here
  3. 01:50:885 (4) - ^
  4. 02:24:510 (2,3,4) - check it, i thinks it's not straght flow now
  5. 02:28:510 (2,3,4) - ^
  6. 02:36:510 (2,3,4) - ^
  7. 03:02:010 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,5,6,1,2,3,4,1) - From here the volume gradually decreases, so why not reduce distance gradually ?

  • [Insane]
  1. 01:01:010 (2) - why 1/2 slider, you have strong beats here?
  2. 01:09:010 (4) - ^
  3. 01:17:010 (1) - ^
  4. 01:23:010 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4) - hmm, looks interesting, but i think you should to follow only one option (i like 1st)
  5. 01:35:010 (3,4) - Maybe circles again? Or you could increase the spacing
  6. 01:37:510 (4) - You could be do it more interesting. Make overlap, for example (since echo sound) http://puu.sh/lYRoc/7b5bfc9d8a.jpg
  7. 02:34:510 (1,2,3) - wow, it's fine for read?
  8. 02:50:010 (1,4,5,6) - stack
  9. 03:01:010 (3) - same as 01:01:010 (2)
  10. 03:02:010 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,5,6,1,2,3,4,1) - same as Normal

  2. unckeck widescreen support, it is not necessary - fixed, thank you

  • [Normal]
  1. 00:35:010 (3,4,5) - change spacing in Normal, hmmm - it only changed at the 1/2 parts, so that it is easier to read (hopefully)
  2. 01:24:010 (1) 00:50:010 (3) - and similar sliderwawes looks is not not in my mind. You can just add red dot at centre of slider, will look better - I like the shape I did
  3. 01:28:010 (1) - move on 160 176 for symmetry? - for what symmetry? players can't see the axis o.o

  • [Insane]
  1. 01:01:010 (2) - why 1/2 slider, you have strong beats here? - I prefer sliders, because after the short slider it is more comfortable to hit a sliderbeginning
  2. 01:09:010 (4) - ^ - ^
  3. 01:17:010 (1) - ^ - ^
  4. 01:23:010 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4) - hmm, looks interesting, but i think you should to follow only one option (i like 1st) - the small piano sounds are not as loud as in the first one (imo) and I didn't want to use the same patterns all over again, but I changed it a little
  5. 01:35:010 (3,4) - Maybe circles again? Or you could increase the spacing - increased spacing a little bit
  6. 01:37:510 (4) - You could be do it more interesting. Make overlap, for example (since echo sound) http://puu.sh/lYRoc/7b5bfc9d8a.jpg - I dislike such overlaps
  7. 02:34:510 (1,2,3) - wow, it's fine for read? - ofc it's fine? o.o
  8. 02:50:010 (1,4,5,6) - stack - unnecessary, no one can see it while playing
  9. 03:01:010 (3) - same as 01:01:010 (2) - I prefer slider (circle is not bad either though)
  10. 03:02:010 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,5,6,1,2,3,4,1) - same as Normal - you mean hard? I don't want to decrease spacing especially because 03:02:510 (3) - is still a loud beat and I like the distance the way it is

Whee~ M4M!

General:
  1. Even though Vass’ diff is a GD, I still don’t think it’s necessary that the combo colours are different since the same BG is used in every diff.
  2. The preview point isn’t snapped. Snap it to 00:47:260 – in every diff.
  3. Silence the sliderslide? http://puu.sh/m8seT/02e92844a7.wav Just rename that same soundfile to normal-sliderslide as well.

Insane:
  1. 00:35:010 (1,2,3,4,5) –You can try to place these more into a curve and less straight to make it less boring.
Meh, my image can maybe be a bit better, lol.
  2. 00:44:010 (2) –Can’t you maybe space this a bit more? It looks a bit too close to 00:43:010 (1) – I mean you spaced these: 00:32:010 (1,2,3) – further away and they had a shorter pause between them than 00:44:010 (2) –
  3. 00:47:010 (1,2,3) –Seems inconsistent since you didn’t do it anywhere else in the previous part of the diff, but if you want to keep it, perhaps you can place them like this instead to make them into a nicer shape:
  4. 00:49:760 (9,6) –I would try to arrange the stream so that those two circles can stack. Just for neatness reasons.
  5. 00:51:510 (1) –Inconsistent combo’ing here since you didn’t add a new combo here: 00:49:510 (8) – for the same beat. Remember to add new combo here then: 00:52:010 (4) –
  6. 00:54:510 (1) -^
  7. 00:54:010 (5,6,1) –Not nice flow here since the (6) is placed way behind (5) so the entire pattern is like a quick up and quick down flow which isn’t really nice. I suggest just lowering (6) a bit so it isn’t so far above (5).
  8. 00:57:010 (5,1) –Same thing about flow. (1) is right behind (5) so the player have to jump quickly from the end of the slider to the circle at the back. A bit uncomfortable to play.
  9. 00:58:010 (5,6) –This is an example of nicer flow since the path to (6) is more clear.
  10. 01:06:885 (3,7) –Why not stack properly here? 
  11. 01:09:010 (4) –Ctrl+H? Would create a nicer flow to 01:09:510 (5) –
  12. 01:10:010 (1,2) –Not nice flow, since the tail of the slider goes a bit down and then the (2) is placed right parallel to it which means that the player has to jump back sharply and break the flow. Maybe do this to the slider:
If you want to create more distance, you can place the (2) on 01:09:510 (5) –
  13. 01:12:010 (1,2) –Example of better flow.
  14. 01:27:510 (3,4) –Maybe place them like this to make them stand out more: Also better flow.
  15. 01:33:760 (4) –Stacking like this prevents smooth flow. Rather unstack.
  16. 01:35:010 (3,4) –I would place them more like this:
Makes more sense. I dislike (3) placing’s the most.
  17. 01:36:010 (1) –This is quite a big (and bad flow) especially since the music isn’t even that strong. I highly suggest you make the spacing lesser.
  18. 01:39:510 (5,6) –Same suggestion as 01:27:510 (3,4) – etc.
  19. 01:44:760 (2) –Stacking thing. Same as 01:33:760 (4) – etc.
  20. 01:48:010 (1) –This jump also looks a bit too big to me. >.<

I didn’t point out everything cuz then I’ll just repeat myself and the mod will get too long. Basically I feel the flow can still be improved since there are a lot of patterns where the circles are placed right behind the previous slider making it uncomfortable to play. I did point out which flow of yours is nice and which is not. I know that many mappers love anti-flow, but I’m not sure if it’s a good idea with this song. (And nice flow is just more comfortable for players to play.) Also, check your combos. I didn’t want to point out too much cuz I’m scared I might make you confused and you know what you’re doing, so I suggest just to go over the diff and make sure the combos are consistent. Still a nice diff though~

Vass’ Hard:
  1. One unsnapped green line: 01:36:016. Easy thing to fix though, just snap it to: 01:36:010
  2. 00:38:010 (1) –For consistency with 00:42:010 (5) – you either have to remove that new combo or add new combo here: 00:42:010 (5) –
  3. 00:46:010 (1) –Same issue as above here.
  4. 00:43:510 (2) –Perhaps you can still place a finish on the tail of this slider for consistency and maybe just lower the volume a bit.
  5. 01:07:010 (3) –Here I’ll rather make the circle more visible and not stacked since you also placed circles here: 01:07:260 (4,5,6) – so it would be a good idea to make the entire pattern visible.
  6. 01:20:010 (1,2) –Uhh, perfect this stack?
  7. 01:24:010 (1,2) -^, I don’t understand why you would do this.
  8. 01:28:010 (1,2) -^, etc. If there’s more.
  9. 01:32:010 (1,2) –What? Here you stacked it perfectly then, lol.
  10. 01:42:510 (2) –Unstacking here would be better for flow imo.
  11. 01:46:510 (2) -^
  12. 01:46:510 (2,6) –Stacking again.
  13. 01:50:510 (2) –Lol! And here it’s not stacked.
  14. 02:03:010 (3) –Make it visible to show this pattern: 02:03:010 (3,4,5) – as an unit.
  15. 02:35:760 (4,1,2) –Why not stack (2) perfectly as well?
  16. 02:47:010 (3) –Same as 02:03:010 (3) – There are others as well.

Normal:
  1. AR 5 is too high for the easiest diff. I remember one of my maps got DQ’ed because of this. AR 4 would be fine.
  2. The circle size looks so small. This is still the easiest diff. 3 would be nice.
  3. Check AiMod. Spacing errors apparently.
  4. 00:34:010 (1) –I would rather remove NC here and add it here instead: 00:35:010 (3) – The beat on (3) sounds stronger.
  5. 01:36:010 (5) –Maybe this instead?
  6. 02:06:510 (4,1) –This overlap can be avoided.

Not much here. Nice diff.

Overall a very nice mapset.
Good Luck getting this ranked~!

Whee~ M4M!

General:
  1. Even though Vass’ diff is a GD, I still don’t think it’s necessary that the combo colours are different since the same BG is used in every diff. - I changed the combo colors on my diffs (wasn't really satisfied with it anyway)
  2. The preview point isn’t snapped. Snap it to 00:47:260 – in every diff. - sure
  3. Silence the sliderslide? http://puu.sh/m8seT/02e92844a7.wav Just rename that same soundfile to normal-sliderslide as well. - okay

  3. 00:47:010 (1,2,3) –Seems inconsistent since you didn’t do it anywhere else in the previous part of the diff, but if you want to keep it, perhaps you can place them like this instead to make them into a nicer shape: - could be an "intro" for the fast part :P but still, the sounds go from high to low so I want to keep it, and your shape has smaller distance them, but I made the distance like that intentionally, so I want to keep mine
  4. 00:49:760 (9,6) –I would try to arrange the stream so that those two circles can stack. Just for neatness reasons. - it isn't visible while playing so no point in it moreover this is a triangle 00:49:260 (7,8,9) - so I don't want to replace it even a little :P
  5. 00:51:510 (1) –Inconsistent combo’ing here since you didn’t add a new combo here: 00:49:510 (8) – for the same beat. Remember to add new combo here then: 00:52:010 (4) – - because I hate going above 9 (since 2 digit numbers don't look nice imo) but I changed it here since (10) isn't that much visible
  6. 00:54:510 (1) -^ - ? this is a really loud beat, it deserves a new combo
  7. 00:54:010 (5,6,1) –Not nice flow here since the (6) is placed way behind (5) so the entire pattern is like a quick up and quick down flow which isn’t really nice. I suggest just lowering (6) a bit so it isn’t so far above (5). - changed a bit

  10. 01:06:885 (3,7) –Why not stack properly here?  - there are too many stacks before so it won't be perfect and it can't be seen anyway
  11. 01:09:010 (4) –Ctrl+H? Would create a nicer flow to 01:09:510 (5) – - doesn't make too much difference tbh but changed
  12. 01:10:010 (1,2) –Not nice flow, since the tail of the slider goes a bit down and then the (2) is placed right parallel to it which means that the player has to jump back sharply and break the flow. Maybe do this to the slider: - I disagree, this is like this intentionally because I like the flow like this, and I wanted to place a "jump" here because the beat here 01:10:510 (2) - is loud, if I made the slider go upwards it wouldn't be a jump anymore, and the jump was my purpose originally, and even if I placed (2) on 01:09:510 (5) – then the distance would be too much between (2) and 01:10:760 (3) - and I don't want big distance between them
If you want to create more distance, you can place the (2) on 01:09:510 (5) –
  13. 01:12:010 (1,2) –Example of better flow.
  14. 01:27:510 (3,4) –Maybe place them like this to make them stand out more: Also better flow. - no, becase I wanted to make it intentionally like this, leading backwards instead of placing them somewhere else, I don't want to make them stand out more since they are too similar for that
  15. 01:33:760 (4) –Stacking like this prevents smooth flow. Rather unstack. - I think this fits really well because the music on (4) is really soft so I think it doesn't need that much movement and I think it flows well
  16. 01:35:010 (3,4) –I would place them more like this:
Makes more sense. I dislike (3) placing’s the most. - doesn't make more sense because (3) has a higher sound than (2) so placing it as you suggested doesn't fit in my opinion, and they make a pattern like this: https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/4208466
  17. 01:36:010 (1) –This is quite a big (and bad flow) especially since the music isn’t even that strong. I highly suggest you make the spacing lesser. - changed

  19. 01:44:760 (2) –Stacking thing. Same as 01:33:760 (4) – etc. - same
  20. 01:48:010 (1) –This jump also looks a bit too big to me. >.< - changed pattern

Mystyk moe. Here's my mod!

[General]
  1. Timing did......sound a bit weird. I think it's because the piano and the percussions are off-sync from the metronome (like the piano plays later from the metronome, while the drums plays slightly earlier from the metronome). At least the hitsounds are on sync with the music so......yeah. It's most likely not going to be an issue since it's just a slight fluctuation and for the fact that the BPM is intended to be 120 for this music o3o
[Normal]
  1. This difficulty is good. My only observation is that 00:35:010 (1,2,3) is the only combo with different spacing, which I think it's fine in this case since this the calm/beginning part of the music.
[Vass' Hard]
  1. Optional, but I'll probably just use 0.6x spacing for the 1/4 spacing since you have a handful of varied spacing from 0.4~0.8. Not really a big deal since it most like not going to effect the gameplay either way. Just an observation.
  2. 02:09:510 (4) - The only kick slider in the map that is different from the rest o3o.
[Insane]
  1. 01:20:760 - I'll probably add a note here, since a piano key is playing there o3o.
Good luck =w=b

So first off, I'd suggest to turn the AR down to like 8,5. The BPM is slow and it would fit better for DT players as it is only 5* with DT

00:34:010 (3) - Ctrl + J and move back to it's place, for a better transition to the hits

00:47:010 (1,2,3) - This looks and feels weird while moving to the next slider

01:23:260 (2,3) - Why increase the spacing so drastically? Feels weird

01:23:760 (4,1) - ^ Even worse

01:27:010 (1) - Here it is okay to have a bigger spacing because the song somehow gets more exciting with the following slider and the piano note on it, but before this, reduce the spacing

01:50:010 (5,6,1) - What about stacking these 3 hits to that slider 01:52:010 (1) - and making the jumps like that https://gyazo.com/98c69ded244bd14c66061e546eae44e8 that gives it a nice flow and matches with these 01:47:010 (1,2,3,4) -

02:30:760 (7) - This hit is very irritating, as it doesn't match with the rhythm of the other jumps

02:34:510 (1,2,3,4,5) - These are even more irritating, the spacing here is too big 02:34:760 (2,3) -

02:52:760 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,1) - These have a weird shape, imo

Vass' Hard

00:38:010 (4) - NC and on 00:39:010 (1) - Delete NC

00:42:010 (3) - ^

00:46:010 (3) - ^

01:46:885 (4) - Delete this note, there is no sound on this

01:50:885 (4) - ^

01:52:760 - Add a note here for the triplet on 01:52:885 (2,3) -
I'd make that on every second double you've done after that, would be a nice flow

03:08:010 (1) - Isn't it too long perhabs? I'd do it like in the other diffs

I couldn't find any issues with the diff.

Overall I think that this is a nice mapset, I like the maps. Good luck and I hope that i can help you!
Bonsai
ByBy always brings my attention to nice maps by asking me for the offset lol - As BeatofIke already mentioned, the piano is always a bit off compared to the rest, but I think overall offset 6 would be better (Kiai-parts would actually be even earlier ^^)
Also, have a star because lately I'm just shooting stars a lot~

Normal
  1. 00:47:010 (1) - Since the tail is overmapped anyways, I'd suggest making this just a 1/1-slider, as that would also build a better contrast to 00:48:010 (1) which is the start of the Kiai but is mapped the exact same way, not even higher SV or stuff
  2. 03:01:010 (2,3,4) - While two consecutive 1/2-reverse-sliders is unusual I don't dislike it, I just dislike leaving out 03:03:260 since that has never been left out previously and it feels weird to map the 'perpetual' drum-1/2s twice but leave out these prominent piano-hits : \
  3. I don't really understand why you don't put the spinner at 03:04:510 already - If 03:04:010 (5) were the last note it wouldn't be that peculiar to suddenly put a spinner there because there's no other piano-note for a long time, whereas now the last note is a drum-kick, and there's a drum-kick 2/1 later so that is kinda weird imo. I'd just like to hear your reasoning for this ^^ For some reason I like it better in the Insane, maybe because 03:04:010 (1) is a slider there so it feels more like it's mapped to the fading-out piano-note if you know what I mean, maybe try in the Normal to make 03:03:010 (4) two circles and 03:04:010 (5,6) a slider instead? Anyways, I also think there should be a NC at 03:04:010 ^^
  4. Maybe make the spinner-volume fade out too? So setting a green line with 30% at 03:06:010 and 20% at 03:07:010 - It would fit better to the music imo. Same for Insane ofc
Vass' Hard
  1. 01:31:760 (8,1) - Maybe make this one a bit lower? I know it's the same as 01:27:510 (7,1) but there the first note isn't clickable, whereas here it's after four circles so that's kinda much - There is only one other jump between two clickable 1/2-notes that is that big 02:43:760 (5,1) which I'd suggest to lower too for the sake of consistency, I couldn't find any other of those jumps
  2. 02:35:760 (4,1,2) - Stacking different intervalls above each other can be very challenging to read, why not space (4,1) a bit more than the rest, or space it evenly but into a different angle (-> not continuing the straight line)
  3. Generally I'd be interested in your system of stacking/not-stacking 1/4s below slidertails, because to me it appears pretty random and inconsistent, either choose one of them, or if you intend to emphasize certain things with the spaced ones then keep it consistent, rn a lot of equivalent patterns are stacked differently so that's kinda messy in a ways
  4. About the end: Maybe make the SV decrease slightly? It seems a bit forced to play rn since the patterns are just as dense and nothing changes except the volume. Also, I dunno about the spinner, all other diffs end at 03:08:010 so that would be recommended and I think it would work just fine for your diff to end with a circle there. If not, at least make it end at 03:10:010 so it's not that much of a difference, there aren't any distinct beats audible after that anyways
Insane
  1. 00:47:010 (1,2) - Since (2) is overmapped I'd recommend making these into a slider
  2. 01:22:010 (5,6,1) - All of these stacks kinda bother me because the last note is a different tone, that's really unsettling for me q_q
  3. 01:32:760 (2,3) - Spacing is really inconsistent with 01:28:760 (2,3) -, the music justifies a jump but it feels weird to force it at the first one when you don't stay consistent with it. Same with 01:40:760 (2,3) and 01:41:760 (5,1) where not as much stuff is happening in the music but the jumps are still that high and kinda make all the non-jumps inconsistent because of it
  4. 02:35:760 (5,1) - Seems also pretty low compared to 02:27:760 (4,1) and 02:31:760 (4,1) lol
  5. 02:41:885 (9,1) - Uh this is the only 1/4 that is spaced like that lol, either use it more often or nerf this
That's it, good luck! :D one day I'll try to get into Taiko-mapping..

00:47:010 (1,2,3) - This looks and feels weird while moving to the next slider - not really, and it makes sense to place them like that because of the piano, it goes from high to low, so it fits like this

01:23:260 (2,3) - Why increase the spacing so drastically? Feels weird - it fits the melody

01:23:760 (4,1) - ^ Even worse - piano is even louder

Also, have a star because lately I'm just shooting stars a lot~ - wow thank you! I really don't know about the offset though, just as many people I ask give me a different offset...so I'll just ask Charles or someone to make it sure

Normal
  1. 00:47:010 (1) - Since the tail is overmapped anyways, I'd suggest making this just a 1/1-slider, as that would also build a better contrast to 00:48:010 (1) which is the start of the Kiai but is mapped the exact same way, not even higher SV or stuff - it is not overmapped because of the piano and this is a normal of course there is no slider velocity change o.o
  2. 03:01:010 (2,3,4) - While two consecutive 1/2-reverse-sliders is unusual I don't dislike it, I just dislike leaving out 03:03:260 since that has never been left out previously and it feels weird to map the 'perpetual' drum-1/2s twice but leave out these prominent piano-hits : \ - changed
Anyways, I also think there should be a NC at 03:04:010 ^^ - 03:04:010 (5,6) - both are loud so I want to make both of them clickable and afterwards the music becomes softer (not as loud as before) gradually I think it's a good spot to place the spinner, there would be no point in mapping the rest of the beats because they are not as loud as before, moreover the spinner on insane starts here as well, I think NC is unnecessary, it's already the end of the map and NC just for 2 circles at this point doesn't really make sense imo
  4. Maybe make the spinner-volume fade out too? So setting a green line with 30% at 03:06:010 and 20% at 03:07:010 - It would fit better to the music imo. Same for Insane ofc - okay
Insane
  1. 00:47:010 (1,2) - Since (2) is overmapped I'd recommend making these into a slider - it is not overmapped, it is put on the piano sound! and because of the piano circle fits better than a slider
  2. 01:22:010 (5,6,1) - All of these stacks kinda bother me because the last note is a different tone, that's really unsettling for me q_q - I understand what you're saying but I wouldn't feel good about placing (1) far away, imo it doesn't fit and it's more comfortable to play if they are stacked
  3. 01:32:760 (2,3) - Spacing is really inconsistent with 01:28:760 (2,3) -, the music justifies a jump but it feels weird to force it at the first one when you don't stay consistent with it. Same with 01:40:760 (2,3) and 01:41:760 (5,1) where not as much stuff is happening in the music but the jumps are still that high and kinda make all the non-jumps inconsistent because of it - tried to rearrange these a bit, hopefully it's better
  4. 02:35:760 (5,1) - Seems also pretty low compared to 02:27:760 (4,1) and 02:31:760 (4,1) lol - changed it
  5. 02:41:885 (9,1) - Uh this is the only 1/4 that is spaced like that lol, either use it more often or nerf this - I guess I was waiting for someone to mention this because it was also disturbing me xD changed it
That's it, good luck! :D one day I'll try to get into Taiko-mapping.. - do it!
Thank you for the mod!

Hello! M4M

[General]
  1. Both the artist and title are correct. Here is the proof http://www.dirtyelegance.net/albums.html . Also,I'd like to add Finding Beauty In The Wretched because this is the name of album in which the song is included
[Normal]
  1. 00:35:010(1,2,3)- If I'm not wrong,I think this is a noticeable spacing issue. You can easily fix it having consistency in spacing with other objects from this difficulty
  2. 00:54:010(4,1)- This flow seems a bit odd to me.After you aim that 1/1 slider, the slider goes up but the next slider is exactly down in left which result an odd flow in my opinion.I suggest to do ctrl+J on that 1/1 slider (00:54:010(4)- ) and the next slider can be moved to 216|171 for example. The pattern will be like >>this<< which will improve the flow in my opinion
  3. 01:04:010(1,2)- Don't you think that this pattern looks a bit awful? This pattern can be improved in my opinion. You can make like >>this<< or like >>this one<<.Also improving the pattern,it will give a pleasant flow as I can see for players let's say
  4. 01:53:010(2)- If you listen carefully the instruments, you will see that on 01:53:260 (1/2 tick) there is a strong beat which is left empty using here an 1/1 slider. Moreover,I think that the instruments are calling here for an 1/2 slider with a repeat or an 1/2 slider + note which is almost similar with that 1/2 slider with a repeat.I suggest to replace this 1/1 slider with an 1/2 slider with a repeat as you did previously with some notes from this difficulty or if you don't want to make a 1/2 sliders with a repeat spam, you can do the rhythm like >>this one<<.In that way, that strong beat would be followed and emphasized let's say instead leaving it empty. This is just my own opinion.
[Vass' Hard]
  1. 00:43:506(2)- There's a missing finish on the slider's tail as I can see so you have to add it to have consistency with other finish hitsounds
  2. 01:01:006(4)- The repeat arrow of this slider is nearly covered as you can see>>here<< which in my opinion should be avoided because it could be a bit difficulty to read it just saying :D .You can avoid hidding nearly the reverse arrow moving this slider like in this >>image<<
[Insane]
  1. 00:56:756(3,4,5)- Perhaps you had to use drum sampleset here and not soft sampleset as you did with the other notes like these
  2. 01:31:256(2)- This note overlaps with 01:30:506(6)- and also it is visible in game field so it doesn't look really clean. You can avoid this overlappin moving this note (2) to 351|102 for example

I guess this difficult needs some improvement on hitsounding. In kiais for example, some are using drum sampleset while other notes are using soft sampleset. For example 01:56:756(6,7,8)- I guess this needs drum sampleset as you did with previously notes like this and so on.
That's must be all! Maybe after you will improve a bit the hitsounds, especially in Insane, you can call me back.
Good Luck!

  1. 00:35:010(1,2,3)- If I'm not wrong,I think this is a noticeable spacing issue. You can easily fix it having consistency in spacing with other objects from this difficulty - as I told you in-game this is the only place where I used a little bit smaller distance because I wanted to make it easier and obvious for players to read, so this should be fine
  2. 00:54:010(4,1)- This flow seems a bit odd to me.After you aim that 1/1 slider, the slider goes up but the next slider is exactly down in left which result an odd flow in my opinion.I suggest to do ctrl+J on that 1/1 slider (00:54:010(4)- ) and the next slider can be moved to 216|171 for example. The pattern will be like >>this<< which will improve the flow in my opinion - I changed it a bit

This pattern can be improved in my opinion. You can make like >>this<< or like >>this one<<.Also improving the pattern,it will give a pleasant flow as I can see for players let's say - I think your version isn't really good for flow because it would go like this - http://puu.sh/mA8Lv/ba54a40312.jpg - and the way I did the pattern has a good flow imo (since the slider doesn't have a weird direction) and the song is slow it doesn't feel uncomfortable to play at all, oh and also, the song goes kinda the same at those 2 sliders that's why it fits for both of them to lead downwards
  4. 01:53:010(2)- If you listen carefully the instruments, you will see that on 01:53:260 (1/2 tick) there is a strong beat which is left empty using here an 1/1 slider. - I follow the melody here that's why 1/1 slider fits, and I think that the sound at 1/2 isn't so loud and it doesn't have to be emphasized (that's what hard and insane is for), but the reason is mainly that I followed the melody
[Insane]
  1. 00:56:756(3,4,5)- Perhaps you had to use drum sampleset here and not soft sampleset as you did with the other notes like these - the hitsounds were changed in the whole diff (I tried to make in consistent everywhere)
  2. 01:31:256(2)- This note overlaps with 01:30:506(6)- and also it is visible in game field so it doesn't look really clean. You can avoid this overlappin moving this note (2) to 351|102 for example - okay, changed a bit on my own way

02:24 Mystyk: oh hi
02:24 ByBy13: 00:59:006 (1,2)- I suggest to swap the NC here because 01:00:006 (2)- needs new combo not this object
02:24 ByBy13: and hi c:
02:25 Mystyk: okay done
02:27 ByBy13: 03:04:006 (5)- adding new combo here for reset of the instruments wouldn't hurt at all
02:28 Mystyk: well okay I didn't really find it necessary because it's the end of the map but fine xd
02:28 ByBy13: okay c:
02:29 Mystyk: vass is not online though so if you have anything to tell her or him I guess it's better to post on forum xD

02:56 ByBy13: 02:36:006 (1)- change the drum sampleset to auto on slider's body because it sounds too noisy for this part of music

03:09 Mystyk: back thanks :D
03:09 ByBy13: np :3
03:09 ByBy13: :D

03:09 Mystyk: lol that might have been a mistake tbh, fixed it
03:09 Mystyk: ?
03:10 ByBy13: why you don't use them all soft finish instead of drum finishes and soft finishes? that's why I said to improve the hitsounding /w
03:11 Mystyk: in the whole set or that part? o.o
03:11 Mystyk: I mean whole diff

03:12 ByBy13: insane
03:12 ByBy13: normal and hard are alright
03:13 Mystyk: what do you mean soft finish instead of soft finsih? xD
03:14 ByBy13: instead of drum finishes
03:14 ByBy13: and I saw a soft finish throught the diff
03:15 Mystyk: 00:49:006 (5) -
03:15 Mystyk: so like this drum finish?
03:15 Mystyk: using soft finsih instead of it?
03:15 Mystyk: it's too loud
03:15 ByBy13: yes
03:15 ByBy13: well it's up to you
03:16 Mystyk: well I don't want to change it because imo it would be way too much but I might use some soft finishes at some places which sound louder
03:16 ByBy13: okay ;o
03:16 Mystyk: 00:52:006 (1) -
03:16 Mystyk: here I used soft finish
03:16 ByBy13: okay
03:16 Mystyk: so I only want to use soft finish at similar parts
03:16 ByBy13: ok
03:17 Mystyk: oh first one was actually normal finish lmao XD
03:17 Mystyk: not soft
03:17 ByBy13: hehe XD
03:21 ByBy13: okay tell me when you will finish with the hitsounds
03:22 Mystyk: okay

03:22 Mystyk: but I can't find it anymore XD
03:22 ByBy13: okay xD
03:22 Mystyk: but it was just the angle of the sliders
03:22 ByBy13: oh
03:22 Mystyk: it was really disturing me
03:22 ByBy13: *disturbing :P
03:23 Mystyk: 02:41:506 (8,9) -
03:23 Mystyk: yeah misspelled it i know

03:24 ByBy13: update pls
03:24 Mystyk: it was like that before too lmao
03:24 ByBy13: yea
03:24 Mystyk: just slightly different angle
03:24 Mystyk: i already did
03:24 ByBy13: okay ;o
03:24 Mystyk: I only changed some soft finished in kiai parts
03:24 ByBy13: ok
03:24 Mystyk: i hope it's more consistent now
03:24 ByBy13: oki
03:34 ByBy13: yup looks much better
03:35 Mystyk: alright then
03:36 ByBy13: mp3 must be fine

03:36 ByBy13: it is between 128 kbps and 192 kbps
03:36 ByBy13: oh one last thing
03:36 ByBy13: audio conflicts with taiko diffs
03:36 ByBy13: so you have to fix the preview points in taiko
03:36 ByBy13: or I have to redl?
03:37 Mystyk: let me see

03:41 ByBy13: *no
03:42 Mystyk: okay lmao
03:42 Mystyk: I can still fix it though

Alright, let's have a good look at this.

[General]
  1. How about tags specifying the genre of the track? Downtempo and ambient would do, if you ask me.
[Normal]
  1. As this is the lowest difficulty I would slightly reduce OD and HP. Let's say 3,5 for both. Give that a try and let me know what you think about this.

    Should be good to go!
[Vass' Hard]
  1. The into could use breaks in the long gaps, so it is less accuracy heavy and helps players to relax and play the intro relatively easily.
  2. 01:36:006 (1) - 01:40:006 (1) - 01:44:006 (1) - 01:48:006 (1) - within the rather agressive rhythm used in the other parts, long sliders here feel way too slow and out of place. Consider replacing them with circles or 1/1 sliders in order to make each of these beats clickable. This would result in far more enjoyable feedback to the player and make the rhythm work better with the rest of the difficulty.
  3. 02:38:006 (6) - I would add another new combo here as well. For the sake of consistency and stressing the downbeat.

I am generally uncomfortable with the way you used 3/4s in this difficulty. The polarity breaks and I don't find it quite necessary at this difficulty level. Could use more opinions. In case you need examples, 02:00:006 (1,2) - 02:04:006 (1,2) - take these just to name a few. There are a lot more of these.
[Insane]
Any creative idea for the difficulty name? THis is absolutely up to you.
  1. 01:23:256 (2,3) - try to reduce the distance of the jump here? It feels a bit overdone for the slow part/low sound level.
  2. 01:39:256 (4,5,6) - the volume is pretty low here, so, I'd use spacing a bit lower than x2,2. Try x1,6 or something around these values. Similar to the issue above.
Note: 01:42:506 (2,3,4,5,6) - and a little reduction here could be a good idea.
  3. 01:53:881 (3) - should've been placed to the beat at 01:53:631 - as this one is much stronger. Give that a try now!

Not a bad one! I like it, though some jumps feel a bit over the edge.
I am dissatisfied with the N>H gap being too big and I am generally not happy with the overall quality of the Hard. Try to lower its difficulty to make a nice shift from Normal to Hard, while keeping a H>I gap reasonable? Apart from that the set looks alright.

Best of luck!

Edit: official website of the artist is down, metadata confirmation can be obtained from the band's CD cover. While the site is not official, the CD cover is. I have to agree with ByBy13 here, metadata is 100% correct.

Any creative idea for the difficulty name? THis is absolutely up to you. - I can't really come up with anything, but if you have ideas I would consider (since default name might be better than an "Insane" because the Insane is quite easy xD)
  1. 01:23:256 (2,3) - try to reduce the distance of the jump here? It feels a bit overdone for the slow part/low sound level. - didn't really feel that high but I reduced it a little bit
  2. 01:39:256 (4,5,6) - the volume is pretty low here, so, I'd use spacing a bit lower than x2,2. Try x1,6 or something around these values. Similar to the issue above. - mmm I looked at it and tested it but I don't feel like it's too high or anything like that, I like the current distance (and it's similar to that in the whole difficulty) so I don't want to change this one
Note: 01:42:506 (2,3,4,5,6) - and a little reduction here could be a good idea. - I agree with this, but rather changed the pattern
  3. 01:53:881 (3) - should've been placed to the beat at 01:53:631 - as this one is much stronger. Give that a try now! - you're right, it fits better there
