[resolved] "The beatmap you're trying to submit isn't owned by you!"

Problem Details: For some reason when I try to submit my beatmap, I get this error. I created it from scratch, made a diff and mapped a few seconds of it. Placed timing sections and set BPM. I have never had this problem before... Any help would be appreciated :)

Also, make sure that the Beatmap folder name does not start with numbers.

Then you are doing something wrong.

Close osu!, open the .osu archives and set the settings that are said on the thread that I linked before again, because they are most likely wrong.

The beatmap folder was starting with 01.

The .mp3 file (aswell as the folder) starts with 01. When you try to submit it it will set the BeatmapSetID to 1 because of that.

Delete the beatmap folder from the Songs folder while osu! is closed, then close osu! and head to the song selection.
Next, download this fixed version of your beatmap and import it. You should be able to submit it without issues.


Also, be more descriptive in the future. Describe why it doesn't work and what you notice instead of saying that it doesn't work. Just saying.

I tried deleting the numbers on the folder and .mp3 file, but that made the .mp3 file go corrupt for some reason so I had to get a new one. And even when I deleted the numbers I still couldn't upload it.

As I said, I tried that and it didn't work.

I will try uploading the one Trosk made.

EDIT: It worked. Thank you for helping me. :)

BeatmapSetID was set to 1 instead of -1 too. At least it works now.
