[Archived] Help adding new difficulty on beatmap.

Problem Details:
I want to add a new difficulty like normal mode to my beatmap. People say I have to press File>Create New Difficulty but Create New Difficulty won't pop up when I press File. :(

If you happen to be on a Mac then you might run into some issues with this. See this thread.

-Go to the beatmap's folder found in osu!\songs and copy the .osu file in there
-Rename it to a new difficulty such as Sana - Raspberry Monster (VeilStar) [Hard] instead of Sana - Raspberry Monster (VeilStar) [Insane]
-Open it with any text editor and change the Version: line to match the new difficulty name (Version:Insane becoming Version:Hard)

Otherwise just what TicClick posted, of course.
