Problem Details:
sometimes during gameplay of osu, my tablet cursor glitches out and starts glitching to other positions like it is teleporting rapidly back and fro.

I tried replicating this by using the tablet on different applications other than osu such as photoshop and safari but could not repeat the glitch. It is probable that the glitch only works in osu.

Video or screenshot showing the problem:
here is a small video of the problem

osu! version: 20150812.11 (latest)

mouse sensitivity in osu is set to 1x
tabletPC option unable to be chosen as it keeps saying "tablet initialisation failed".
I am using a macbook air mavericks 10.9.5
using latest wacom driver and already tried resetting it.
using a wacom intros pro small

Do the Wacom properties on Mac have some kind of option like this one? If so, disable it. This type of issue is usually produced by this option on Windows. (This option is on the menu where you set the tablet area)

Also, make sure to hace Os TabletPC support disabled, Map absolute raw input to the osu! window disabled and your mouse sensitivity set to 1x.

nope can't see that option. yup. map absolute raw input to osu! window is on, mouse sense is set to 1x. still persisting with this problem. I'm testing if it is the fault of my tablet pen by using the eraser side. results have yet to be recorded.

Didn't I tell you to disable it? I don't know if it will fix it, I doubt it, but do not enable it.

whoop sorry xD. Map absolute raw input to the osu! window was disabled while i had the glitch. i turned it on in hopes that it would stop the glitch. ill try re-disabling it now and reply as soon as i get results.

I don't think it's gonna fix it then.

Just in case, did you try changing the USB port where you have the tablet plugged in?

it has stopped for now and I guess i will mark this issue as resolved until the glitch returns. may i ask how changing the usb port fixes this? O_o

This usually happens when trying to use a 2.0 USB device into a 3.0 USB port, so I don't know if you were using a 3.0 or what. It just happens sometimes.

YES! i just checked and my mac does have two USB ports that are 3.0. but why is this problem only happening now? and what do I do if the problem returns back?

I don't actually know. It just happens sometimes. I have my tablet pluged into a 3.0 port and never had a problem, but I saw more people having problems if they plug it into a USB 3.0 port. Well... At least your issue is fixed now.

Q_Q glitches are coming back. even with the USB port change. i tried playing with the eraser side of my pen, it also glitches out. tablet strangely works fine in the map selection menu of osu and other applications. It is a high probability that this is a bug from osu.

problem still persists Q_Q

tablet is only a year old so I suspect this is a possible osu bug for mac.

The only thing I can think about is on Windows Ink. Since you are in Mac, you don't have Windows Ink.

I searched on Google a bit and found this.

I'm not sure how this works since I don't have Mac, but try to disable those options if you have them enabled and see if that helps in any way...

here is another replay that shows the glitch constantly appearing throughout the beatmap.

i just got my tablet today, and i also have a mac, i had this same exact problem. The fix is SUPER simple, LOWER YOUR SENSITIVITY. lol i hope this helped :)
