Hi Blue Dragon.

All diffs mapped very well as usual, almost does not need a modding tbh.

Lets fill your ranking bar up to 33%. = 4 stars

You deserved it.

oi

for next modders: i still have to replace the mp3 with a 192kbps one so no need to mention it as ataraxia already reencoded it!

Hi, from my queue :)

Generally I would say map has a very good quality, but song is really monotonous and there's practicaly no fun of playing 2,5 minutes long map which slightly do change. I just wanted to say it.

[Normal]
00:34:050 (4) - There's nothing which the reversion and the end try to represent. Simple circle would be better
00:49:410 (3) - I think 2/3 slider would be better here
01:28:290 (1) - Reversing 1/3 slider should follow the music better
01:33:090 (3,1) - It don't look good imo
01:34:050 (1) and 01:37:890 (1) - Why nc?
[/Notes]

[Hard]
00:19:650 (2,3,4) - Why these are not stacked like everywhere else?
00:21:570 (2) - I think 2/3 slider would be better here
00:25:890 (3) - There a strong sound on the beginning so mark it (change it to something diffrent or just add a hitsound like you do in other ones)
00:35:010 (2) - Nc here, not 00:34:530 (1)
00:37:410 (4,5) - Try7 deleting 5 and extending 4
00:45:090 (3) - There a strong sound on the beginning so mark it (change it to something diffrent or just add a hitsound like you do in other ones)
01:47:010 (7) - I think it should be better without hotsound on reversion
01:59:010 - Do this part has to be so simetrical? :)
[/Notes]

Most of these are just details, but I hope my mod will be helpful, good luck with this mapset :D

Easy

olhe ai mod e fixe todos os ds como eu uso grid snap pra mapear easy diff vai ter uma caralhada de problema menor de spacing, eu n me importo mt com isso

Hard

01:45:570 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - q patten linda :3 obg :D

Generally I would say map has a very good quality, but song is really monotonous and there's practicaly no fun of playing 2,5 minutes long map which slightly do change. I just wanted to say it. well, sadly I map songs which I like, not songs that are "suitable for a rhythm game". the fun in the map is seeing people who enjoy the song look at how it was mapped and play it, not to bring casual players looking for some pp/rhythm game experience.

[Normal]
00:34:050 (4) - There's nothing which the reversion and the end try to represent. Simple circle would be better remove the note and listen closely, guitar is a constant 1/3 sound
00:49:410 (3) - I think 2/3 slider would be better here same as ^
01:28:290 (1) - Reversing 1/3 slider should follow the music better in this part i'm only using 1/3 reverse sliders to empphasize the 4 drumbeats before the big slider
01:33:090 (3,1) - It don't look good imo i don't see why, the overlap isn't hurting the pattern
01:34:050 (1) and 01:37:890 (1) - Why nc? fixed the NCing throughout the map
[/Notes]

[Hard]
00:19:650 (2,3,4) - Why these are not stacked like everywhere else? fixed
00:21:570 (2) - I think 2/3 slider would be better here nah, the guitar's 1/3 sound is quite clear here
00:25:890 (3) - There a strong sound on the beginning so mark it (change it to something diffrent or just add a hitsound like you do in other ones) but it's hitsounded already o.o
00:35:010 (2) - Nc here, not 00:34:530 (1) why so? the combo begins at the big white tick which is the measure's start
00:37:410 (4,5) - Try7 deleting 5 and extending 4 following the guitar here
00:45:090 (3) - There a strong sound on the beginning so mark it (change it to something diffrent or just add a hitsound like you do in other ones) its hitsounded already
01:47:010 (7) - I think it should be better without hotsound on reversion nah, imo sounds better like this
01:59:010 - Do this part has to be so simetrical? :)

Hey, from my mod queue

General:

Try changing the offset so it's earlier, it's a little bit off

Hard:

00:17:790 (2,3) - More linear

Other than that, I can't find anything noticeable, very clean difficulties, could easily get ranked!

hello BD, m4m fulfillment

this song is really chill, but is there something you can do about the end like fade out or anything? not too familiar with this stuff but it seems to cut off way too abruptly. also, if you're going for rank, make sure the mp3 has a lower bitrate than 192kbps (at least thats what automod says) edit: saw your updates

00:31:230 (2) - this is just a personal thing, but for short sliders like this, can you give less curve? i feel like theres too little body on the inside. and same with 00:49:470 (3) - and the rest like this i guess
01:29:310 (3) - due to the previous long sliders, i'd actually prefer if this were the whole 2/1. i know clicking feels good but i think it would be gooder if it were like those others (contrast this to 01:44:670 (3) - where the click at the end is more consistent with the other long ones also being like that)
01:48:030 (2,4,1) - not gonna lie, these are so close together it almost gives me anxiety. but its clean cause its not.
02:22:110 (1,2) - can you fix this teeny tiny off blanket?

edit: automod says this isnt snapped 01:43:232 (4) -

INS
00:15:390 (1) - i didnt comment on this before because i thought that only the hardest should explore the 1/2 and 1/3 differences, but the guitar (or whatever) plays this rhythm as 1/2 not 1/3. you can also play around with this rhythm throughout this insane (or ex?)
in fact, ever single first and third white tick seems to be 1/2 whereas every second and fourth white tick seems to be 1/3s. you can contest this with me and i'll spend some more time investigating if you'd like
using this interpretation, objects like 00:22:110 (4) - and 00:31:070 (2) - would be very wrong because there is no 1/3s here, only 1/2s.
here on out i will mod just for flow and stuff because i dont quite agree with the above

uhhhhhhhhh i couldnt find anything wrong with the flow. oops.

so just to recap, i think this does need a remap because lots of your patterns abuse the assumption that it is constant 1/3s thru out.
i know its going to be hella painful to have to redesign like half the things here, but knowing your skill i can't wait to see how you'll work around it.

good luck!

ok so...
i really don't want to remap this, there was a lot of effort put into the map to flow exactly as it is and sadly there's no other way without either remapping or messing up with the entire rhythm/flow of the map.

i'm gonna try to get this ranked as it is, because the guitar itself doesn't follow the rhythm accurately and most of the map is focused on complementing the drums and the background beat.

thanks for the mod and hope this doesn't cause issues in the ranking process..

nothing is real thank's for the existential crisis bd ;-;

lower the quality of the mp3, it's too high

Afterlife
~ 00:39:870 (6,7,8) - I think it's kinda weird to have this be different from other 3-note long circles ex. 00:38:910 (2,3,4), it just doesn't fit having it be different when the song is the same as the others

Hard
~ 01:43:232 (4) - isn't snapped

can't give much more without dabbling into nazi territory
good luck ranking! It looks like it's ready imo

General: How about Offset -29 (negative), because offset 30 doesn't follow instruments correctly.

Easy:
00:45:150 (4,1) - Blanket could be improved or maybe try something like you did here 00:56:670 (4,1) -
02:31:230 (2,3) - Objects are too close to each other.

Normal:
01:17:790 (3,3,3) - This rhythm is different than I see here 01:33:150 (3,4,5,3,4,5,3,4,5,3,4) -
01:57:150 (1,2,3) - First circle and slider a bit too close http://i.imgur.com/YyROTzK.png
02:27:870 (1,2) - Blanket doesn't seem perfect, I can suggest you to move second slider a bit left.

Hard:
01:22:590 (1,2) - Looks like one side of the slider seems a slightly more curved and I think it rips off symmetricity.
01:36:030 (1,5) - ^
02:25:950 (1) - Maybe try to make this slider more simmetrical. Like did with this 01:03:390 (1) -

Afterlife:
00:28:510 (7) - 00:40:030 (7) - 00:52:510 (3) - 00:56:350 (3) - and (etc.) This circle could be removed, because there's a empty sound. (It's not important, but it's just my opinion, 00:32:350 - and something similar you did here.)
01:29:790 (6,1) - 01:28:190 (7,1) - Don't have too much to say here, but spacing seems different.

Ok, thats it I hope this is was a bit helpful. I know It's short mod, but can't really find lots things from well expierenced mapper. Also shooted a bunch of stars on your map to be more helpful.

  1. can you not
    LOL
  2. 02:33:630 - This hitsound seems really loud bc the music gets so quiet there, would suggest reducing the volume to ~20%

Arcade Fire
  1. I find it a bit misfitting that you start notably increasing the spacing at 01:32:190 because except for the mapped 5/3-sliders there's nothing really outstanding here, whereas at 01:47:550 you have really prominent changes in the music (->Kiai) but I didn't really feel that in the map because it doesn't feel different to play than the previous combos so that was kinda underwhelming :\
  2. Also a very minor nazi thing is that in combos like 01:28:350 (1,2,3,4,5) and 01:34:110 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) the spacings vary a sliight bit, and that slight bit makes the difference between a followpoint appearing between objects or not, so only half of the objects having them looks kinda ngh with the default skin :P
  3. 02:25:950 (1,2,3,4,5) - tbh this.. curve? looks rather weird to me, did you not place it like this bc you ran out of space at the bottom? bc it seems that way xd

Hard
  1. In the Kiai there's some random slightly-bigger-spacings causing followpoints if you care about that (tbh I feel like you could just space everything more there, doesn't matter spread-wise)

Normal
  1. 01:36:990 (3) - these kinda look like branches from the tree in the background, nice lol
  2. 01:48:030 (2,4,1) - imo this looks a bit.. cramped, bc the visual distance between these objects is so low, which I don't find very fitting for the start of the Kiai, would flatten the triangle to avoid that tbh
  3. 02:33:630 (1) - completely taste-dependant thing but personally I dislike it when objects that clearly form one continuous pattern with the previous pattern are separated with a NC, imo not NCing this would fit better but w/e, just wanted to get it out there ^^

Easy
  1. 01:01:470 (1) - 01:09:150 (1) - 01:12:990 (1) - I don't really get why you start using 1/1-reverses here, there is nothing special about those vocals here as it is until 00:35:550 (2) -, and already using them again here takes away the specialness of them at 01:17:790 (3) etc, which made, so even though it's not the exact same rhythm it feel like playing the same rhythm for 45 seconds straight, which could've been avoided imo :(
  2. 02:19:230 - you know that changing the SV in a reasonable manner (like in the Normal) is allowed in Easy-diffs too, right? seems weird to me that these sliders are as fast as all the others

  2. Also a very minor nazi thing is that in combos like 01:28:350 (1,2,3,4,5) and 01:34:110 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) the spacings vary a sliight bit, and that slight bit makes the difference between a followpoint appearing between objects or not, so only half of the objects having them looks kinda ngh with the default skin :Pfixed

Hard
  1. In the Kiai there's some random slightly-bigger-spacings causing followpoints if you care about that (tbh I feel like you could just space everything more there, doesn't matter spread-wise) some of them are actually slight jumps (due to kinda-manual stacking), but most of them were fixed except for 02:12:030 (6) - which is unfixable without breaking symmetry or without changing the pattern entirely and honestly i dont think it'd be worth it lol

Normal
  1. 01:36:990 (3) - these kinda look like branches from the tree in the background, nice lol yep i totally knew what i was doing here (not)
  2. 01:48:030 (2,4,1) - imo this looks a bit.. cramped, bc the visual distance between these objects is so low, which I don't find very fitting for the start of the Kiai, would flatten the triangle to avoid that tbh well this is almost impossible to fix keeping the pattern due to spacing, so i just tried to not make it a 1px gap between the slider and the two triangle points
  3. 02:33:630 (1) - completely taste-dependant thing but personally I dislike it when objects that clearly form one continuous pattern with the previous pattern are separated with a NC, imo not NCing this would fit better but w/e, just wanted to get it out there ^^ more of a consistency thing for me, all other diffs had NC at the end so yeah ):

Easy
  1. 01:01:470 (1) - 01:09:150 (1) - 01:12:990 (1) - I don't really get why you start using 1/1-reverses here, there is nothing special about those vocals here as it is until 00:35:550 (2) -, and already using them again here takes away the specialness of them at 01:17:790 (3) etc, which made, so even though it's not the exact same rhythm it feel like playing the same rhythm for 45 seconds straight, which could've been avoided imo :(well at ~00:35 i follow the vocals and then move on to the guitar which is more emphasized in the song, after that gets a bit tiring & there's that part at 01:01 which marks the middle of this section i decide to change back to vocals. idk how this would be fixed without a remap between 01:01 and 01:16 and i personally enjoy the rhythm i got here
  2. 02:19:230 - you know that changing the SV in a reasonable manner (like in the Normal) is allowed in Easy-diffs too, right? seems weird to me that these sliders are as fast as all the others well i did a very slight (0.9x) decrease since anything higher than that makes the spacing looks really bad (notes start overlapping). might as well not even be there but it does make sense to decrease it a bit

Afterlife

  1. 02:19:230 (2) - the slider shape can be improved, like: https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/8841436 , your current one isn't nice visually talking.
  2. 00:32:670 (1,2) - nazi, they aren't on line . x 368 y 280 looks better
  3. 00:59:550 (1,3) - copy paste the sliders? they are a bit different atm
  4. 01:55:710 (2,3,4) - triangle isn't perfect

Normal

  1. 00:32:670 (1) - touching the HP bar, the map is so clean and this make it looks ugly :(, also the RC discourage it
  2. 01:51:870 (2) - same

Easy

  1. 00:21:150 (3) - 01:05:310 (1) - 01:17:790 (3) - 01:40:830 (1) - 01:48:510 (2) - touching the HP bar
