nightcore does not = a genre, it = a way of messing with a song, be it pop rock japanese indie emo jazz blues on and on and on

worst maps are the maps that are completely made around patterns that don't fit the song imo
- Overmapped parts
Nightcore
TV-Size maps
rating = song
the fact that ztrot maps would be good if he would start using jumps properly
ugly sliders
everything that doesn't fit (hitsounds, spinners etc.)
- Jumps out of nowhere that usually appear on a random place at the song
- Deathstreams all over the map
- Constant slider velocity changes that confuses the player
- Uber high spacing
- Ugly overlapped sliders
- Spinners with notes/streams 1/4 later of the end of them
- Maps with no breaks in 3 minutes or more of song
- Combocolours that blend with the background
- Putting notes on the corners when Kiai fountains cover them
- Kiai Time + white combocolour (or other light colours)
- Hitsound spam
- Making a map hard for the sake of making the hardest map possible (which usually ends on a bad map)
The last thing I'll say in here is:
SONG != MAP

The map isn't great, but it's not as bad as it could have been. I mean, it wasn't this...even if the source material itself wasn't supposed to be taken seriously (oh gee just like C-O-C-A-I-N-E).
EDIT: By the way, I wasn't saying it was good by any stretch. C-O-C-A-I-N-E is not rankable by my standards, sure, but I've seen so much worse. Perhaps this is a case of strange standards, but eh.

well the SB sounds aren't great, but this was one of the best maps out there when it first came out.
