Too bad it wont listen to bitrate commands at all with ffmpeg

Srsly,
ffmpeg -i "F:/Fraps/input2.avs" -b 2000k -maxrate 2500k -bufsize 1536k -aq 4 -ar 44100 "F:/marvelous.webm"
and it gives me ~4515kbps
At least vorbis came out as planned

I think you're doing it wrong. Also, only chrome handles this from what I can see.
also, bioshocks new teaser that came out today uses html5 video too

Works on Opera 10.60 all fine for me. And yes I might be doing it wrong but the ffmpeg documentation clearly isn't meant for people like me ;..;

Hmm, I have 10.53
I'll try updating.

Why is it not like chrome updating to the latest version in the background every other day without me noticing anything :|
Them shitty browsers :P

EDIT: Bah, worked. So did they just implement this now or something?

why didn't you just link to the video directly http://downloads.2kgames.com/irrational ... stereo.ogg so you don't have to load the rest of the page.

"the rest of the page"

what rest of the page?
You mean the link to the main site and that little logo?
Sorry for wasting your bandwidth.

Also, the only thing that bugs me with html5 video is the lack of fullscreen.

Added more video formats, now covering most of the HTML5 codecs.

WebM, Theora and flash player works, but I haven't tested the html5 based h264 yet, it should work in versions of chrome that don't have webm support and in Safari.

that flash player was bit tricky to get working :x
