[resolved] Can't see background video when playing osu

Problem Details:
No matter which beatmap that has a background video, it doesn't play. I have background video enabled in my settings, and I don't have "disable background video" ticked at the bottom.

Are you sure that the beatmap you are playing has a video? If it has and you have Background video on your main options, it should appear like this, and not in grey.

Ok... I just searched that map and it has video. Are you sure that you have Background video enabled on options and the beatmap actually has video and you didn't download it without video? Go to the beatmap files and check it.

no it's enabled. and ill check. Usually when I download a beatmap I click the bright pink button but I'll check again.

edit: I think I may have resolved the problem, when searching for beatmaps I tend to click that download button, but I didn't know it downloads without video. I'm downloading the one with video right now and I'll see if it works.

Edit #2: I figured it out. It's because my dumb ass was downloading the "no video" one, because I clicked the little download arrow when searching for songs. Lol stupid mistakes, thanks so much.
