Compaq Laptop issue need help!

I cant find anywhere else to go and I really need help with my laptop
like ever since like 3 weeks ago my laptop has been messed up.
the sound dont work and ive tried everything to fix it says"no audio output devices installed" and I cant play Touhou, and osu! its also been slow and when I open my laptop from sleep mode I sometimes have to hold the power button to wake it from sleep mode and sometimes I have to yank out the battery and I have to restart it! Ive checked on Compaq's website and I cant find a solution and I cant find any answers online! I really Need Help! I have a Compaq Presario F700 (F763NR)

Sounds like youve had a very bad driver bug. How long have you had windows installed. Are you on xp vista or 7. Also did you recently update a driver? Sound likes you just need to back up your data and do a clean windows install.

this is the board that is not required to maintain serious discussion. Thus, people are permitted and in most cases expected to contribute nothing constructive.

Just fyi compaq is one of the weakest computer brands in my experience; I heard their laptops were better than their PCs but that doesn't say much because their PCs were rather shoddy so if your drivers aren't borked your hardware might be

Well im running Vista And a few days ago I installed a BIOS driver and that did took care of my problems but then the issues came back! Ive had Vista installed on my computer since day of purchase (but I TOTALLY got ripped off) And why would I be glad to not play touhou its fun! (especially if your playing it with a ps3 controller). *sigh* but I might have to get a new computer

Ok here is what im going to recomend. If you just updated your bios and the issue came back sounds like a normal vista fuck up. Download a copy of windows 7 and burn it to a disk. Then just wipe your harddrive and install it. Its simple as hell if you know how to just click next its impossible to fuck up. Do that and your pc will be faster and no more gay driver bugs unless there is a driver that is not digitaly signed. If that happens hit F8 on boot up at the bios screen and select disable digital driver enforcement. If you need any more help just post here

I also had some audio trouble with my pc a while back but that was just a driver fuck-up by realtek maybe the thing I did was installing old drivers.
maybe this will help here to just try to find some older sound drivers install them.

well Im still not sure about my hard drive I really dont understand How to remove an old one and replace it on a laptop but I might take it to get my laptop repaired tomorrow. but thanks for the help but I might still come back if my issue isnt repaired but thanks!

crap! I just installed Windows 7 but the audio dont work it still says No audio output devices installed
I still have a feeling its a motherboard or bios issue! :x

Have you tried plugging anything into it and seeing what happens??

yea I always Use external speakers when I use my laptop but sound dont come from both speakers!
