How do you know what he likes to map? It's popular songs; naturally SOMEONE is going to map them. DJPOP has his fun by mapping, and if he likes popular songs, then he's going to map popular songs. I would rather have DJPOP map them than someone else, his maps are proven fun.lizzehb wrote:

Wow, holy shit, Pasonia made a post I actually legitimately chuckled at.
Unfortunately, everything that I know about DJPop maps points to them being horrendously overmapped, frequently pushing guidelines so far that if he sneezed he would snap them in half, and pretty much identical to each other. I support the DJPop map insofar as if there was only one of them it would be an interesting challenge and a fun map. When you map the same thing to 90 songs, it stops being fun or interesting anymore and just becomes whyyyyyyyyyyyyy.
Plus if I recall correctly he was a bitch to mods and BATs alike. If you didn't agree with him, you obviously didn't know what you were doing. Ego could use deflating. But hey, the bitch thing seems to be the standard around here nowadays so whatever. Guidelines might as well not even exist. BATs are yes-men or get flamed to death. Mods carefully polish their own maps and throw stars at other people's maps along with empty posts like "great song!" and the occasional timing error.
