Summoned by Inyuschan, Nardo comes with a taiko mod :3

  • [Muzukashii]

Consider OD-1 ? I think OD6 would be too harsh for Muzukashii.
  1. 00:02:851 (7,8,9,10,11) - consider deleting these notes for a break ? Currently the part from 00:00:739 to 00:14:260 - is somehow denser than Oni, resulting in an inappropriate spread. I think I did something, I don't remember lol Should be fine.
  2. 00:06:231 (19,20,21,22) and 00:10:246 (32,33) - same as ^ Same as before.
  3. 00:08:555 (26) - move to 00:08:133 - so that the length of 1/2 notes would be shortened. But it fits better due to vocal... I think ;__;
  4. 00:23:978 (36) - d would result in a smoother flow imo.
  5. 00:25:457 (41) - maybe move this note to 00:25:034 and change 00:26:091 (43) - to d for the vocal ? Did something different.
  6. 00:29:893 (58,59,60,61,62,63) - try dkd k d k ? This would fit the instruments in a way better. Did something different.
  7. 00:39:823 (90) - consider moving this note to 00:39:400 - for the noticeable sound there ?
  8. 00:40:879 (94,1) - swapping these notes to k d could accompany the pitch decrease nicely.
  9. 00:43:098 - you may want to remove this timing point as there is no actual purpose.
  10. 00:50:598 (22,23,24,25) - maybe d kkk ? It would sound cooler to play and fit the lower-pitched vocal at 00:50:598 (22) -
  11. 00:53:450 (33,35) - swapping these notes to d k would follow the pitch increase there.
  12. From 00:55:879 to 00:57:781 - this part could be reformed to reflect the drums more: (cursor at 00:56:936 - and the finish at 00:56:513 - is removed)
  13. 01:03:908 (72,73) - d and add d at 01:04:224 - to make it a bit harder ? Did something different.
  14. 01:05:809 (78) - maybe k for the relatively high-pitched vocal ?
  15. 01:12:781 (3) - move to 01:14:365 - for the drums ?
  16. 01:16:900 - you may add d here for the sake of a better spread with Oni.
You may call me back after that~ :D <3
Not mentioned is basically fixed, I hope I don't miss something, thank you~!

Btw, I suppose that taiko diffs don't need video. Just tell me if I have to add it but I don't think so.

I'd also like to apologize if modding my taiko diff was annoying, it's my first taiko diff ever (even finished), so I did my best.

I'm ready :3
Nardoxyribonucleic
The taiko difficulties look fine now. Patterns are nicely arranged with good consistencies, while Muzukashii has sufficient breaks.

Disqualification Notice

Hello!

Unfortunately, the Quality Assurance Team has decided to disqualify this beatmap. The following is a list of reasons and examples for the disqualification. We do not outline every issue in detail, so make sure to take the idea behind each reason and apply it to the entire beatmap as issues might be found in more than the spots mentioned below. If you have any questions, please reply to this post and we will do our best to clarify any misunderstandings.

Muzukashii

Structure of Breaks

  • The structure of breaks should be refined. Some are placed accordingly to the vocal, while others are not. This makes them appear inconsistent and lower the quality of the map. It is adviced to have breaks when the vocal stops since the map is mostly vocal oriented anyway.
  1. 00:21:865 (28,29,30,31) - The vocal breaks here, so these notes can be deleted and a kat added on (28)'s place.
  2. 00:30:739 (62,67) - Such notes can be removed as well, to give upcoming patterns an higher impact but also to follow the vocal in a more strict way.
  3. 01:00:950 - Same break could be done like at 00:47:429 -.
Mapping
  1. 01:10:034 (1) - Shorten the spinner to 01:11:302 and add a note at 01:11:724 - . Skipping a downbeat for a spinnerend is not needed, since most player finish the spinner before it ends fully, so there will just be an empty beat at 01:11:724 - .

If you happen to have concerns about this disqualification, you can contest the decision with this form. Before using this form, please read the instructions carefully.

The Beatmap Nominators may handle this mapset after the issues have been addressed.

Good luck!

As I've said I'm really sorry for BNs since this was my first taiko diff...

Please help me to rerank this, standard mapset is basically fine...
Nardoxyribonucleic
Checked Muzukashii again. 2/1 breaks are additionally added at 00:22:288 and 01:01:161 - in accordance with the pauses of vocal, while the spinner at 01:10:034 (1) - is shortened to add don at 01:11:724 - for the important beat.

I think the intention of creator to keep the notes at 00:30:739 (59,64) - is justified because this session is mapped in a way following both vocal and instruments, just like the ones at 00:37:499 (79,80,85,86) - .
