  1. Well then, after 10 seconds on youtube I already found the artist for you, so it's "/v/ the Musical 2" or "/v/ the Musical II" but I am not so sure.
  2. And the correct title is just "AYY LMAO", it's track 6 on the album "Viva La Vidya" given that you're only using the 30 second version xD.
  3. But you can add "Macarena" to the tags because that's what the original song that artist is using and "Los Del Rio" since they are the original artist of the Macarena.
  4. Try a timing setting of 103.10 BPM but you can reject it if you so wish. Just besure to fix all Inherited points (green lines) afterwards.
  5. Add Proph Nobster and Mazziv to the tags since they contributed a diff in your map.
  6. I know this is going to be nitpicky, but your BG is 1365 x 768 as to the required 1366 x 768. But I am sure someone will let it slide :| or you can get that issue checked out. :P

No. The difficulty names still communicate the level of difficulty, therefore they're rankable. I did some reading on this, but please correct me if this is wrong. And as a side note, since OP believed the names were too cheesy (I'd agree), they were changed anyways.

Will look into it tomorrow , 60% of your mod was only NC related ayy. Also my mapping is more empathetic towards mouse players who struggle with symmetry , so I might ignore a ton of symmetry suggestions. If it holds the map from getting qualified I'll change it if else I'll keep it

Also take this with a grain of salt. If mods are over rank 30k and mod Ayy Insane I'll be highly hesitant to accept the mods because their skill isn't on par with the diff. I used to rage and call a lot of bs on 4.6 star + maps until recently.

Please catch me in game when you have any questions on how to apply some of these suggestions or if I said something in a way that was confusing. There are a lot of issues i didn't mention, but hopefully this shares the ideas on how to improve that you can take that and apply to more than just the ones mentioned.

Disable the countdown and increase the audio lead in to 1500 on all difficulties

Disable widescreen support since you don't have a storyboard. While you're at it, you can disable letterbox during breaks since there are no breaks.

The kiai's aren't all at the same time (theres a little more kiai in easy). Make this consistent throughout the mapset

Your background is 1365x768, which doesn't meet the ranking criteria. Making it 1366x768 fixes this.

[Easy]

00:09:361 (1) – I wish you went clockwise instead of counterclockwise since now the combo feels a little too similar to 00:04:708 (1,2,3,4,5,6) -

This makes a lot of overlap issues come up, so you'll have to fix these. To explain some stuff about overlap, read the following, since this applies in a lot of your difficulties:

Overlap:

When two objects overlap, careful consideration must be taken or else the overlap has a high chance of looking poor and presents a design issue in your map. Make sure to understand how far objects need to be in time in order for the object to properly fade away so you don't overlap old notes. Going to View → Hit animations will show you what the map looks like when playing the game, so this will help you see what actually overlaps and what does not. Generally, you want to avoid subtle overlaps like this:

One way to fix an overlap is to stack objects directly on top of each other. For instance, the following pattern has been improved by a stack:

If you do this you'll have to fix what comes after it.

00:14:014 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) – You use very few circles here. This results in the energy of this section feel kind of low compared to what you had before, which isn't great for the pacing of the map. (you had an interesting flow though)

[Extra]

AR can down more to 9.5

Some of the patterns in extra are a direct copy of the insane. Please make this difficulty more unique.

Hello, I'm here since you asked on reddit. There's a lot of other things I could say, but writing it down is a little hard. This makes a lot of overlap issues come up, so you'll have to fix these. To explain some stuff about overlap, read the following, since this applies in a lot of your difficulties:

Overlap:

When two objects overlap, careful consideration must be taken or else the overlap has a high chance of looking poor and presents a design issue in your map. Make sure to understand how far objects need to be in time in order for the object to properly fade away so you don't overlap old notes. Going to View → Hit animations will show you what the map looks like when playing the game, so this will help you see what actually overlaps and what does not. Generally, you want to avoid subtle overlaps like this:

One way to fix an overlap is to stack objects directly on top of each other. For instance, the following pattern has been improved by a stack:

Doing things like this (making spacing similar between far away notes) improves the design of the map. I also think this flows better by making a more back and forth flow. If you do this you'll have to fix what comes after it.

00:14:014 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) – You use very few circles here. This results in the energy of this section feel kind of low compared to what you had before, which isn't great for the pacing of the map. (you had an interesting flow though) I wanted that flow

AR can down more to 9.5

Some of the patterns in extra are a direct copy of the insane. Please make this difficulty more unique. What are you talking about ?

Basically a small mod that doesn't go into individual difficulties, no KD for this post.



Artist shouldn't be the name of the album, but instead whoever performed the song / arranged it.
You should be safe to just have the artist be "/v/", as that's what the collective is referring to themselves as in this release.
You might as well add 'xcom' to the tags, that's where some of the jokes stem from.

Leaving the title short would be nice, but the correct title should be "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY LMAO".
Most of the upper difficulties AR is too high. You shouldn't have to go higher than 9 for this set.
Albums don't go in the source, so leave the source blank.
Overly packed with repetitive jump difficulties, but I guess that's the point.
