on topic: no cuz i didn't have a mech keyboard uin the first place
Last week I switched from laptop rubber domes to a k70 with reds (never had a mech before) and it felt hard to get used to at first but after a couple days of playing it was completely worth it.

I'm not at home and didn't bring my keyboard with me so I'm on my laptop membranes for the month. If you're asking for opinions, I don't think it should make any difference. It is all about being comfortable with it. Of course if there's things like your membrane keyboard is not registering hits or something then its a problem, but assuming its working normally, doesn't feel like there is much of a difference except that period of time when you're like "This feels weird".
