Here's my mod:

Honestly, it was kinda hard for me to mod this map, since I can barely play 5.5 stars, let alone 8. For the 8* difficulty, I really thought it was fine. You might want a more experienced modder to change some fine details and stuff, but it really did look perfect to me. The only thing is that you haven't set a preview point for the beatmap, so you might want to do that.

Sorry I couldn't help you more! :(

Not a full mod here, but I love this song/map, so i might as well throw in some things i noticed:

03:05:494 (111-117) - These feel super out of place

04:13:922 (1) - Just me, but I don't really think it needs to be a spinner here

05:05:922 (1) - This spinner blocks the view of the 1/6th burst that follows it, unless you fly through the spinner. Most people at this level would, but it still might be a problem

Really great map, gl with ranking!

So many things I don't want to touch because of the whole Taikocalypse style lol (mainly shit like varying the long 1/6 stuff)

00:17:922 (18) - k, so as to make this part consistently have k's on every other white tick?
00:45:636 (203) - no k, so it's like the last one that sounded like this
00:58:494 () - this part of the song goes *heavyfuckingbass* *light hi-hat hit*, so it's more of a 'd k d k' flow. Though since you freestyled, it's up to you.
01:50:779 (67) - k? fits pitch and prepares the flow
01:58:636 (65,66,67,68) - maybe this is the only time the vocals go xx xx but it's the only spot that does this :/
03:31:922 (183,185) - sounds really weird if these aren't D imo
03:34:494 (206,207,208,209,210,211,212,213) - these kkddkkdd to follow the "intensifying stream" pattern?
04:08:208 (360,361,362,363,364,365,366,367,368,369,370) - dddk(1/6), ddkkddd? fits the sounds way more, 04:09:208 (374) - then this could be k so instead of dddk again it's another high 1/6.
04:10:636 (388,389,390,391,392) - I think this part needs more impact, maybe make this dkkkddk?
04:20:779 () to 04:29:636 () - same 'd k d k' stuff if you choose to do that
04:51:494 (243,244,245,246,247) - kkkkk to map the AAAAH note
04:56:779 (297,298,299,300,301,302,303,304,305,306,307,308) - this is fucking hard with the stream starting after bro, 04:57:422 (2) - remove this note to help it out?

03:06:494 () -
05:22:494 () -
05:06:494 () - These green lines doesn't apply the slowdown correctly. Just move it to the blue tick before.

X!

OD+2.0 pls.
5.0 is so easy for commensurate players to this map.
even od7.0 few players will get nearly SS.

From SEE's Taiko Modding Queue

Sry for late mod. You're one of these mappers I can give mod even on 8* map. :P

[General]

  1. OD5? Only, make it OD6.5, I think it's better in this diff of map. HP the same, could be 5 or even 6 to be this map REALLY hard.
  2. And name it C18H27NO3 (Extended Ver.).
[Taikocalypse]

  1. 00:13:208 (1) - k better IMO
  2. 00:17:779 (17) - d
  3. 00:21:779 (34,35) - Ctrl+G
  4. 00:22:351 (37,38) - ^
  5. 00:38:922 (175,176,177) - IMO ddk is better here
  6. 00:55:708 (25) - k
  7. 01:32:565 (318,319) - Ctrl+G
  8. 01:34:922 (349) - k please :P
  9. 01:51:065 (69,70,71,72,73,74,75,76,77,78,79,80,81,82,83,84,85,86,87,88,89,90) - Wow, I'm impressed, I really like this :3
  10. 01:53:208 (104) - d
  11. 01:54:494 (15) - d
  12. 02:10:494 (1,2,3,4,6,7,8,9,11,12,13,14,16,17,18,19) - I suggest Ctrl+G, but only suggest here
  13. 02:57:208 (12) - k
  14. 03:01:589 (60,62) - Ctrl+G
  15. 03:44:565 (98,99) - d
  16. 03:50:351 (166) - ^
  17. 04:13:827 (435) - k
  18. 04:57:351 (1) - d
And from 05:15:636 - Look at 4 first points. :P
That's all I think, really hard map, but I think some players could even SS it. :P Good luck Senpai~ :3

Sorry toooooooooooo late ;w; ;w; ;w;

  1. OD  7? DT is IMPOSSIBLE.
  2. 00:13:065 (25) - change to k? When I thought about pitch.
  3. 00:56:208 (32,33) - delete and 00:56:351 (1) - move to 00:56:208 (1) - and change spinner end point at 00:57:208 - and 00:56:136 (31) - change to k? When I thought about music.
  4. 02:10:827 (7) - and 02:11:494 (19) - change to k. When I thought about pitch. I felt that the present placement was sloppy.
Ah... I could't pass :o I pass it someday...lol

Good luck.

tfw modding something above my playing level aaaa
00:07:065 (10) and 00:09:351 (14) - change to d; the section from 00:02:494 to 00:11:636 is pretty calm and passive, so it doesn't warrant the amount of variety created by having 10 and 14 be ks
00:13:208 (1) - change to k to contrast pitch-wise with the following note
00:17:922 (18) - change to d since the pitch is decreasing from 17. this also makes 19 seem a lot less awkward, as it would otherwise stick out as a solo d
00:24:922 (48,49) - ctrl+g. there's a distinct beat on the 1/1, so the hitsounding sounds out of place changing every 1/2
00:47:494 (210) - change to k, this shouldn't be d as its pitch is higher compared with the notes before and after it
00:48:494 (215) - change to k, and
00:49:065 (218) - change to d, both of these help follow the melody
00:57:994 (4) - change to d, the voice deepens so a k doesn't fit as well
01:48:422 (44) - change to k, the synth doesn't drop in pitch continuously through this stream so the stream itself doesn't need to be as straightforward as kkddddk
01:51:065 - about the stream here, the synth goes down and up in pitch; maybe the stream could be made somehow so that the 1/6 triple at 01:51:636 (77,78,79) is ddd? although granted the current stream is probably better for playability. i wouldn't know lol
02:17:922 (33) - this feels out of place as a k, change to d
02:48:208 to 03:24:779 - not a suggestion but the streams in this section are really fun to play
orz idk what to change about the streams anywhere, they sound fine
04:13:351 - put the 1/6ths at the end of the stream instead of the beginning, it would be cool to slow down after the previous two 1/6ths quads then speed up into the spinner
04:38:922 (143) - this can be k since the synth doesn't stop here
all suggestions after this are for following pitch, feel free to blanket deny >.<
05:17:065 (6,7,8) - change to k d d, this should be fine since it still contrasts with the k k d at 05:19:351 (15,16,17)
05:18:779 (13,14) - ctrl+g
05:21:065 (22) - change to d, the pitch decreases from the previous note
05:21:636 (24,26) - ctrl+g
05:23:065 (30,31) - ctrl+g
05:24:065 (34,35) - ctrl+g
05:25:351 (39,40) - ctrl+g
05:25:922 (41) - change to k
05:26:351 (43) - change to d
05:27:636 (48,49) - ctrl+g
05:28:636 (52,53) - ctrl+g
05:30:779 (60,61,62) - k k d
05:31:351 (63,64) - ctrl+g
05:32:494 (67,68,69,70,71) - reverse all colors

love the map though, good luck ranking this!

thank babby. I did apply everything except like one thing. Until the part where you said it was ok to blanket deny, I think im ok with how it is now. thank u though fam

Hey Backfire, mod request from in-game PM.

Volume
This map has a lot of calm sections (that are still a bit loud) in the beginning that lead into even louder more hardcore ones. Your SV usage signifies this well, but I still think you could have a couple of volume changes to add more emphasis.

00:02:494 to 00:25:351 - 70%? While the difference is slight compared to your default 75% volume, it's still a difference that would be somewhat noticeable.

00:39:065 to 00:47:922 - ^

I found it a bit weird that you had all the volume points at the end very 'decked out' compared to the beginning. I just think that while the details I pointed out here are small, they'll make some noticeable difference, even if it's small.

Taikocalypse
01:16:636 (159) - You have this note mapped as a don here, but as a kat at 04:38:922 (143). I would recommend that you either change the first one to be a kat or the second one to be a don. (I think just making it a kat would be better in my opinion.)

02:41:136 (41) - This part seems a bit random when comparing it to all the simple 1/2 patterns that came before it. I think I'd delete the second note in the stream, and make fill 02:45:708 with a don instead. I feel as if having the ending of the calm part more dense makes sense because I believe it signifies that a strong part of the song is coming up more fluently.

03:41:351 (62,63,64,65,66,67,68) - Instead of this being kddkddk, try kdddkdk? When you use patterns similar to this, they're usually styled as ddkddkd. To see it as kddkddk looks and feels a little unsettling to me. This is a stylistic thing (and my opinion of course), but I think it's worth a look at least.

Overall, this map is extremely fun. I felt as if I were just nitpicking things, so I left it a bit short. Good work!

Ok I apply all but last 2.

Hello, as you requested, a mod here.
Feel free to reject anything, my mod are pretty much TnT styled.

Taikocalypse
00:02:494 (1) - you can use x _ x x x _ x _ patterns here, the song itself call it.( like 00:03:351, 00:05:636 etc)
00:11:494 - SV 0.77x? smoother SV change
00:11:636 (20) - *it is weird to be d here. 00:16:208 (11) - ,00:20:779 (30) - ,00:25:351 (51) - these 3 places begin the pitch as 00:11:636 does. In structure's perspective, it is really weird, hence I recommend using d for the rest 3 notes, or make (20) k for better structure, as well for the sake of consistent.
00:48:208 (213,214,215) - similar issue* to previous one, begin same pitch, but you begin with k here. I recommend ddk kkd
00:54:351 (11,15) - I reckon k, to match the increasing pitch of the song, as well making a better pattern flow.
00:55:065 (16) - similar issue*, I think you should reconsider this stream pattern.
00:56:208 (32) - Suggestion: Better start the spinner here. //However it is ok to be like this since fx begin at 00:56:351
01:05:208 (54) - k, for the sake of consistency with 01:00:494 (19,20) - and 01:02:779 (35,36) - .
01:07:636 (73) - Maybe a D instead of K. It has a heavy bass fx, so a finisher fx suits, but it is 'Base', k is for high pitch, making this as K is really weird for both mapper and player.
01:13:922 (129,130,131,132,133) - kkdkk? Since you begin the 5plet 01:12:779 (118,119,120,121,122) - with k, so I prefer using same method for this 5plet, for better gameplay.
01:18:779 (179,180) - ctrl + G? this 5plet can be the 'abekobe' version of 01:17:779 (169,170,171,172,173) - for better gameplay.
01:19:065 (183) - 01:20:636 (197) This part, for me, is like 'isolated'. I think you should revise the pattern used here. It is really inconsistant imo and is not good for gameplay(i.e. weird to play and hear).
01:21:351 (204) - Similar issue*
01:25:565 (246) - del , 01:25:636 (247) - d. I think the 7plet reduced the emphasis on 01:25:922 (249) - for d k D it can produce a better emphasis on the D as well following the pitch.
01:27:494 (264,265,266) - kdk? For variant. double kkd is weird for me here. Additionally, the 2 k (01:27:494 (264,266) - ) can emphasis the 2 fx respectively.
01:27:922 (268,269,270,271,272) - reverse d/k here? Begin d here, similar issue*
01:32:208 (311,312,313,314,315,316,317) - try to make this part's structure same as 01:30:494 (295,296,297,298,299,300,301,302,303,304,305,306) - . This part is well mapped hence you should copy and paste to the similar part I mentioned, for consistency, for gameplay experience.
01:35:065 (344) - You should revise the structure used on this part. It is really inconsistent here. From my observation, every 2 bars have its own pattern and done no contribution to consistency. (I am not saying you mapped it badly, but you need to consider overall structure.)
01:51:636 (77,78,79) - I reckon 1/6 kkkd for better emphasis. (If applied, 01:51:636 (77,78,79) - Ctrl + G to make it similar to the stream before you made changes.)
02:16:208 (28) - 02:20:779 (43) - Similar issue*
02:28:779 (68) - Ctrl+G ^ 02:36:494 (17) - to k (additionally, 02:36:494 (17) - ddk k kkd (1/2 snap))
02:41:136 (41) - del? for consistency of the similar patterns after.
You should add green lines for 02:41:279 (43) - ,02:43:565 (56) - etc, These are the part I would like you to add SV in it to make the SV change more smooth. e.g. 02:41:279 (43) - as x0.82; 02:43:565 (56) - as x0.87 etc. Huge SV gap usually ruins the gameplay experience.
03:04:279 - add note? to make the stream have a better cohesion with the music since 1/4 stream fx is given from the song.
Suggestion: reduce finishers from 03:23:636 (132) - , I think it will be better if you make 132 onward a 1/4 stream, as a better flow of structure.
03:37:351 (16) - Revise patterns. plus, it would be better if you can make the notes every 4 measure be singular. It is a good method to emphasis the beat of the song. Like 03:39:636 (41) - , you connected it with the notes after, hence it has less emphasis on the beat it is on. others like 03:48:779 (147) - will be good for revise.
04:50:494 (231) - Make this singular, would be good for emphasizing the beat it is on.
04:55:065 (272,273,274,275,276,277,278,279,280,281,282,283) - (I suggest ddd kkk (dddd) (kkkk)); connect 04:56:208 (284,285,286,287,288,289,290,291,292,293,294,295,296,297,298,1) -
05:15:636 (1) - same as those part I mentioned at the beginning of the mod. (every measure start with d etc.)
05:33:636 (1) - I think k did enough for the last fx, since the fx did not last that long.

A bit late for it, good map tho, I wish you good luck on approving this. :)
