Hey there!

[General]

Seems fine

[Taiko]
maybe consider changing the diffname to either Oni/Inner Oni or something a little more interesting (maybe smth like Infected Taiko), just "Taiko" is ok but kinda boring xD
00:14:657 (8) - delete, quads sound better here and emphasize the melody like more
00:21:484 - add dd, there are notes there in the music and it's kinda weird to leave them out
02:02:036 (658) - maybe change to k
02:49:002 (969,988,1008,1029,1051,1074,1097,1118) - change to d to put emphasis on the large white ticks, it'S also ok as it is tho i think
05:01:416 (1560) - starting here this stream get's kinda weird, maybe consider using patterns that aren't as weird, you are using a lot of pattern reversing (ie. starting with d or k and then adding normal patterns on top of that which start with a different color, which makes it sound kinda weird because the color changes happen on offbeats) anyway, just a suggestion
06:02:553 (403,404) - ctrl + G

Maybe think aboiut using the SV changes to distinguish between slower and faster parts, that's a good way of adding variety into a long map like this and here there are quite a few parts where you could utilise it.

This map was a lot better than the last one i modded, not many things came directly to mind ;)
gl with it!

maybe consider changing the diffname to either Oni/Inner Oni or something a little more interesting (maybe smth like Infected Taiko), just "Taiko" is ok but kinda boring xD yeah this was just a placeholder name, just used the game mode cos at the time i didn't know how to submit maps lol
00:14:657 (8) - delete, quads sound better here and emphasize the melody like more agreed, considering putting a d at 00:14:140 too but i'll leave it for now
00:21:484 - add dd, there are notes there in the music and it's kinda weird to leave them out there used to be streams all over this starting section and it basically was as difficult as the kiai time's original streams (which probably wasn't good lol), i guess i deleted the notes here to simplify. i'll put them back for now
02:02:036 (658) - maybe change to k yep
02:49:002 (969,988,1008,1029,1051,1074,1097,1118) - change to d to put emphasis on the large white ticks, it'S also ok as it is tho i think i like it how it is, but i see ur point
05:01:416 (1560) - starting here this stream get's kinda weird, maybe consider using patterns that aren't as weird, you are using a lot of pattern reversing (ie. starting with d or k and then adding normal patterns on top of that which start with a different color, which makes it sound kinda weird because the color changes happen on offbeats) anyway, just a suggestion yep i changed up the stream, matching the k's more to those faint little instrumental synth thingy beats (tbh i was just slapping notes down before :| )
06:02:553 (403,404) - ctrl + G yep, and changed up the first few notes of this pattern

Maybe think aboiut using the SV changes to distinguish between slower and faster parts, that's a good way of adding variety into a long map like this and here there are quite a few parts where you could utilise it. thanks for reminding me, at the time i did this (yonks ago) i had no clue about how sv worked, i was supposed to add it in recently but i probably forgot or got lazy lol

This map was a lot better than the last one i modded, not many things came directly to mind ;)
gl with it!
Thanks a lot for the mod :D

:) Hello, I'm a huge Fan of Infected Mushroom so let's go :)

Here is my M4M-mod
In the following I will show you what I would change and why.

General

  1. No Issues

Oni

  1. 00:26:243 (65) – Change to K // I think it's biting with (66) so i tried to delete oder change to k. K sounds better

  2. 00:31:105 (94) – Place a D // I don't like the two Notes Gap there i would place a d

  3. 00:35:243 (117,118) – Change (117) to K and Delete (118) or Ctrl + G // DDK doesn't suit here

  4. 00:44:243 (178) – Change to D // I think theres too much k in this section try to change one

  5. 01:22:416 (412,413) – Ctrl + G // if hearing from a few seconds ago i think this is better

  6. 01:35:760 (495,499) – Ctrl + G // the 4xD will then support the song

  7. 01:38:657 (510) – Delete // The song starts a break after Note (509)

  8. 01:47:347 (552,576,600,624) – Delete // it would be a nice build up for the part thats now following

  9. 02:20:553 (797,798) – Make a triple // I don't think that 1/6 will be good here because the part doesnt sound like where you use it normally

  10. 03:08:036 (1094,1095) – Ctrl + G and delete the Blue One // Pattern interrupts the support of the guitar in the following notes

  11. 03:08:450 (1097,1099) – Change Colour of one of the two notes // Supporting guitar there KDKDK KKKKK would match best i think

  12. 03:12:381 (1121) – Place a K // dont start the break here the guitar needs one last note^^

  13. 03:37:416 (1185) – Delete // This note doesn't support the song

  14. 03:41:140 (1198) – Change to K // i think it shouldn't sound like (1197) there

  15. 03:41:967 (1201) – Change to D // matching better to the song there

  16. 03:51:898 (1236-1346) – ??? // i dont get what you mapped in this part, its not really matching the piano or the voice, you should look at this part again

  17. 04:37:105 (1425) – Delete // doesn't sound right there

  18. 06:06:174 (416) – Place a note // sounds empty and song has no break there

  19. 06:12:588 (440) – Change to 06:12:795 // I Know you want to support the guitar there, but it doesn't sound right because you more mapped on the beat before i would keep that

  20. 06:13:002 (441) – Place a K // ^ together with that it should sound fine

  21. 06:44:450 (613) – ??? // I testplayed it this time, it's good to play but i wouldn't connect it to the song itself. It's more playing its own song. I can't connect it to the Piano or Vocal there

:D So much ''it'' in the last sentence sry for that :D
This map in total is fine, only little changes and the fact that i don't get that one part.
It's a really difficult map i must say, but may thats because I'm really bad at playing 4 or 2 notes in a row
:) I hope this was helpfull in any way. For Questions feel free to ask and leave a comment :)

  1. 00:26:243 (65) – Change to K // I think it's biting with (66) so i tried to delete oder change to k. K sounds better yep i'll go with this

  2. 00:31:105 (94) – Place a D // I don't like the two Notes Gap there i would place a d i went with a k since that matches the pitch of the synth thingy instrument to me

  3. 00:35:243 (117,118) – Change (117) to K and Delete (118) or Ctrl + G // DDK doesn't suit here thanks for spotting this, ctrl+g'd

  4. 00:44:243 (178) – Change to D // I think theres too much k in this section try to change one changed 00:44:450 so as to match with the next kdk d pattern right after

  5. 01:22:416 (412,413) – Ctrl + G // if hearing from a few seconds ago i think this is better left it, i'm following the pitch of the beep things

  6. 01:35:760 (495,499) – Ctrl + G // the 4xD will then support the song yep changed

  7. 01:38:657 (510) – Delete // The song starts a break after Note (509) there's actually a few faint 1/4 beats leading up to the note at 01:39:071 and this note lands on the first of them, i'll leave it for now

  8. 01:47:347 (552,576,600,624) – Delete // it would be a nice build up for the part thats now following hey i really like this, changed

  9. 02:20:553 (797,798) – Make a triple // I don't think that 1/6 will be good here because the part doesnt sound like where you use it normally yeah i have no clue why that ended up there :? i noticed it myself just looking over this section for the previous point, and yes changed to a triple

  10. 03:08:036 (1094,1095) – Ctrl + G and delete the Blue One // Pattern interrupts the support of the guitar in the following notes yep, changed to a dkd k, it goes with the previous sections better too

  11. 03:08:450 (1097,1099) – Change Colour of one of the two notes // Supporting guitar there KDKDK KKKKK would match best i think fixed, this was supposed to be kkkkk like all the other guitar bits before it, must've accidentally changed

  12. 03:12:381 (1121) – Place a K // dont start the break here the guitar needs one last note^^ going with this for now, i'm a biiiiiiiiiiiit iffy about this one; i understand your point but it just sounds, 'covered' by the previous note (imo this one more so than the previous guitar notes, probably not explaining it well here :P )

  13. 03:37:416 (1185) – Delete // This note doesn't support the song yep changed

  14. 03:41:140 (1198) – Change to K // i think it shouldn't sound like (1197) there changed 03:40:933 instead

  15. 03:41:967 (1201) – Change to D // matching better to the song there yep changed

  16. 03:51:898 (1236-1346) – ??? // i dont get what you mapped in this part, its not really matching the piano or the voice, you should look at this part again i'm pretty sure i'm following the piano here, but i missed like 2 high notes that should be k's, otherwise i think the section is fine :? i'll see if anyone mentions this bit in the future

  17. 04:37:105 (1425) – Delete // doesn't sound right there yep changed

  18. 06:06:174 (416) – Place a note // sounds empty and song has no break there i can only hear beats land on the white ticks next to there, and i don't feel having notes there would go with this section so i'll leave this for now

  19. 06:12:588 (440) – Change to 06:12:795 // I Know you want to support the guitar there, but it doesn't sound right because you more mapped on the beat before i would keep that like the previous point, i don't really hear much on this particular tick to warrant having a note there

  20. 06:13:002 (441) – Place a K // ^ together with that it should sound fine i'm going with a d here since i want to follow the guitar more, but yes there is a beat here so i'll go with it

  21. 06:44:450 (613) – ??? // I testplayed it this time, it's good to play but i wouldn't connect it to the song itself. It's more playing its own song. I can't connect it to the Piano or Vocal there i changed a few d's and k's to try and follow the piano better, that was the intention mostly

:D So much ''it'' in the last sentence sry for that :D
This map in total is fine, only little changes and the fact that i don't get that one part.
It's a really difficult map i must say, but may thats because I'm really bad at playing 4 or 2 notes in a row

BOOOM

M4M : FOLiACETATE - Heterochromia Iridis

[General]

change volume 80 %, it's normal for taiko (100% is loud)

my opinion
00:13:416 - volume 40 %
00:53:140 - volume 70 %
03:12:381 - volume 40 %
03:25:416 - volume 60 %
03:38:657 - volume 70 %
04:44:864 - volume 80 %

you may keep kiai part 100 % until 06:44:036 -
06:44:036 - volume 60 %

[Oni]

00:19:726 - it's a single note player can hear the beat so clear and this fit with d more than k

00:26:243 - move to 00:26:347 - you mapped to the beat in this part
00:26:760 - move to 00:26:864 -
booom
you may add kd behind 00:27:071 -

swap 96 , 98
- it's cool ! 95, 96 beat are higher pitch and 97, 97 are lower pitch so cover with kkdd
- beat from 93, 94 is the same with 95, 96 so let player tap the same key (kk kkdd)

00:36:174 - ~ 00:38:036 - you better remap and make it like previous part because music is not much different from 00:13:416 - ~ 00:26:657 - and this part your map are completely different rhythm.
my opinion
00:35:967 - move to 00:36:071 -
00:36:174 - move to 00:36:278 -

00:37:105 - dkkdk
from

to

00:37:829 - move back to 00:37:726 -

00:39:898 - you can spam d to that beat (you have cover it most in this part)
add d to
00:40:209 -

00:41:450 -
00:41:657 -

00:42:484 -

00:42:898 -
00:43:105 -

00:43:933 -

00:44:553 -
00:44:760 -

00:45:795 - if you agree to add this you need to remove 00:46:002 -

00:46:209 -

you may add d to pair with k in this part 00:46:519 -
00:46:726 - It's look more cool imo
00:47:347 - also
00:48:381 - the k alone in this part look weird for me
00:49:002 - d that i advise it's not really cover any beat or sound
00:50:036 - but when playing it does feel good too

01:05:760 - removeeeeeeeee it can't really cover that twist sound, it's better with blank space

01:20:657 - add d. it's funny to play that repetitive sound with same pattern
01:22:209 - ^
01:22:829 - ^
01:25:622 - ^
01:25:933 - ^
01:27:588 - ^ and you can add d to 01:27:484 - to cover drum too
01:28:209 - ^
01:28:829 - ^
btw fuck break and easy pattern cuz this diff is not for new player or rookie player or etc., you don't really need to care about it

01:34:209 - add k to cover beat on 01:34:209 -
01:35:864 - add k it's the same beat with ^
01:37:519 - ^
01:40:829 - ^
01:44:140 - ^

01:38:864 - dkdkd k

01:46:519 - k correct with beat(?clap or snare ? idk the pitch on this note and dddk kddd feel better
01:48:174 - ^
fuck varies

02:31:829 - remove aaaaaaaaaa there is no sound here

02:38:553 - k pitchhhh ~
02:38:864 - ^
02:43:519 - ^
02:43:829 - ^

03:36:898 - remove cuz no guitar sound here ~

03:39:691 - remove cuz no guitar sound and this literally no sound here
03:41:347 - ^
03:44:657 - ^
03:46:312 - ^
03:47:967 - ^

03:51:898 - omg piano rhythm, nice

03:52:105 - but still REMOVEEEEEEEEE! for make the pattern smooth as much as how calm the music had in this part. fuc grammar
03:53:967 - remove ^
03:56:243 - ^ another reason is spam too many note in calm part like this feel weird imo
03:57:484 - ^
03:58:312 - ^
04:00:381 - ^
04:00:588 - ^
04:02:036 - ^ ik it's piano in this note but for smooth feeling when play i need to suggest remove this note too.
04:02:243 - ^
04:03:691 - ^
04:04:933 - ^ and this note too, you can still hear piano here but quite soft. ..... so REMOVEEEEE!
04:06:381 - ^
04:07:002 - ^
04:08:036 - ^
04:10:519 - ^ this note too reason like above ^
04:11:553 - ^
04:13:622 - ^

04:31:416 - add d for make consistency with other previous pattern

06:22:726 - didn't you map to cover guitar ? move to 06:22:519 - please

06:40:726 - kkd smooth stream

HAH ! piano all reason will be use the same as those ^ piano
06:45:898 - remove !
06:46:105 - ^
06:48:381 - ^
07:00:795 - ^

00:19:726 - it's a single note player can hear the beat so clear and this fit with d more than k ok

The notes are so faint, i dont think this is fitting

just changed 96 to k, i want to keep 98 as a k

00:36:174 - ~ 00:38:036 - you better remap and make it like previous part because music is not much different from 00:13:416 - ~ 00:26:657 - and this part your map are completely different rhythm. made a few changes to the rhythm

remapped that part

00:39:898 - you can spam d to that beat (you have cover it most in this part)
added some of these. i mostly like the rhythm as it is, though there were a few spots where i decided to add the d's
add d to
00:40:209 -

00:41:450 -
00:41:657 -

00:42:484 -

00:42:898 -

00:46:209 -

you may add d to pair with k in this part 00:46:519 -
00:46:726 - It's look more cool imo i want it to build up slightly in this section so i left this one out
00:47:347 - also ^
00:48:381 - the k alone in this part look weird for me
00:49:002 - d that i advise it's not really cover any beat or sound
00:50:036 - but when playing it does feel good too added these other 3 d's in

01:05:760 - removeeeeeeeee it can't really cover that twist sound, it's better with blank space yeah ive never been too sure of this note myself lol, removed

01:20:657 - add d. it's funny to play that repetitive sound with same pattern ok
01:22:209 - ^ pretty empty sounding beat
01:22:829 - ^ ok
01:25:622 - ^ it doesnt sound like theres one of those synth thingy beats here
01:25:933 - ^ ok
01:27:588 - ^ and you can add d to 01:27:484 - to cover drum too ok
01:28:209 - ^ ok
01:28:829 - ^ not much on this beat, its on the tick before but i dont want to put a note there
btw fuck break and easy pattern cuz this diff is not for new player or rookie player or etc., you don't really need to care about it
but im a rookie T_T
tbh this diff used to have like another 500 or so notes in the first half of the song but after some some feedback i got rid of most of it cos the first half is calmer than the kiai time bit

01:34:209 - add k to cover beat on 01:34:209 -
01:35:864 - add k it's the same beat with ^
01:37:519 - ^
01:40:829 - ^
01:44:140 - ^ i hear the beat that you're mentioning but its faint enough imo that i dont need to add a k to cover it

01:38:864 - dkdkd k

maybe if i lower the volume in this part or something, idk i just think its weird to have the notes there

01:46:519 - k correct with beat(?clap or snare ? idk the pitch on this note and dddk kddd feel better
01:48:174 - ^ i just want some variation but i have no clue how to get it T_T i'll leave it as it is for now
fuck varies the people ive asked so far have a bunch of differing opinions on these 1/6 lol

02:31:829 - remove aaaaaaaaaa there is no sound here facepalm, removed

02:38:553 - k pitchhhh ~ maybe its like the electronics or smth but ill leave it as d i think it fits fine just for this note
02:38:864 - ^ ^
02:43:519 - ^ ok
02:43:829 - ^ ^

03:36:898 - remove cuz no guitar sound here ~

03:41:347 - ^
03:44:657 - ^
03:46:312 - ^
03:47:967 - ^ changed some. was partially going with the vocals here too

03:51:898 - omg piano rhythm, nice

03:52:105 - but still REMOVEEEEEEEEE! for make the pattern smooth as much as how calm the music had in this part. fuc grammar ok
03:53:967 - remove ^ yeah some of these notes are a lil bit unnecessary
03:56:243 - ^ another reason is spam too many note in calm part like this feel weird imo i mean this one is faint but its still audible enough for me to keep it in
03:57:484 - ^ ok
03:58:312 - ^ keeping to cover for the vocal bit
04:00:381 - ^ ok
04:00:588 - ^ hard to hear but this makes a triad with the next 2 notes
04:02:036 - ^ ik it's piano in this note but for smooth feeling when play i need to suggest remove this note too. eh ill leave it for now but...
04:02:243 - ^ ...having removed this note the previous one feels weird now
04:03:691 - ^ ok
04:04:933 - ^ and this note too, you can still hear piano here but quite soft. ..... so REMOVEEEEE! i like it as it is tho T_T
04:06:381 - ^ ok
04:07:002 - ^ ^
04:08:036 - ^ ^
04:10:519 - ^ this note too reason like above ^ changed 04:10:933 to d instead cos unlike last time, there is a more audible piano note here
04:11:553 - ^ covering for that one vocal bit again (li-fe)
04:13:622 - ^ ok

04:31:416 - add d for make consistency with other previous pattern ok

06:22:726 - didn't you map to cover guitar ? move to 06:22:519 - please what was i doing orz

06:40:726 - kkd smooth stream changed to kkk

HAH ! piano all reason will be use the same as those ^ piano
06:45:898 - remove ! done
06:46:105 - ^ ^
06:48:381 - ^ ^, even though i can sorta hear the note, it fits with before
07:00:795 - ^ ^

07:10:312 - mono d feel better imo
i like it as it is
Thanks a lot for the mod :D
bananannian
Heyo, nice map you got here~

Looking at the general stuff because I don't want to look at whether d or k fits better for all 2.3k notes across 7 minutes lol

Stuff
So the map's a bit messy. In the sense that, on the scale of consistency versus variation you've decided to lean heavily towards the variation side. Of course you could attribute that to being your mapping style, HOWEVER my experience with taiko BNs (in particular Nardo) is that they emphasize heavily on consistency. So just note that you might run into some problems with them about this.

Personally I'd rather lean towards the consistency side, not only because it's easier that way, but also the song itself is basically a bunch of repeats lmao
Of course don't copy and paste everything, just, for me I'd not vary up the patterns as much as you have here across the entire map.

EXAMPLES INCLUDE:

1. The entire beginning section is a brilliant showcase of gradual density increase, but to do that you've decided to freely switch up what you're mapping to in the song, which people may find to be a consistency issue.
00:17:967 (21) - this note's not there in 00:14:657
00:15:071 (8,9,10) vs 00:18:381 (22,23,24) -
00:15:898 (11,12,13) vs 00:22:519 (44,45,46)
00:28:312 (77,78) and 00:29:967 (87,88) - you've decided to go x__x instead of x_xx like previously
00:36:588 to 00:39:898 - a lack of k's compared to 00:30:588
Not saying any of these are wrong, they are just inconsistent. Which may or may not be a bad thing. Consult other modders for advice :p

2. More inconsistency issues later on:
01:21:174 (414,415) vs 01:21:484 (416,417,418,419,420) vs 01:22:105 (421) - trying to match both the bleeps and the electronic drums? You're braver than I am lol, I'd either just go with constant kd or maybe this:

In particular 01:22:312 really deserves a note imo. (But really I'd rather just go simple kd kd kd kd etc.)
(same goes for the rest of this section up to 01:32:036)

3. This part: 01:32:864 to 01:38:657 VS This part: 01:39:484 to 01:45:071
One of the places where I feel like consistency would benefit you more than making varying up the patterns.
like, 01:34:519 (501,502,503,504,505,506,507,508) works well at 01:41:140 too; and 01:43:519 should have a d like 01:36:898 imo

4. Time for 1/6s yay pp
01:59:967 (654,655,656,657) and 02:03:278 (678,679,680,681) and 02:06:588 (703,704,705,706) and 02:09:898 (727,728,729,730) - dddk would be TOO consistent and make this part very boring, but kddk is meh. Try ddkk, see if you like it.
Also 02:00:795 (660) and 02:04:105 (684) and 02:07:416 (709) and 02:10:726 (733) - you could delete these to break up the long run. One reason would be for more variation, another would be to set up a density increase when later at 02:12:588 you have more complex patterns.
02:12:795 (748,749,750,751) - kddk like the others
02:30:381 (875,876) - d d, like 02:27:071 (853,854)
02:37:416 (923) - k to match 02:35:760 (911)

5. 02:45:691 to 03:12:588
This part's good :D Quite consistent, but a lot of interesting rhythm in between the 1/2 k's to make it not boring to play. Only thing is that 03:02:864 might be too long of a stream in comparison with the rest of this section, so perhaps delete 03:03:174 (1067), idk

6. Time for vocals
03:35:347 (1185,1186,1187,1188,1189,1190,1191,1192,1193) - mono k to be consistent with 03:28:519 works better imo, instead of having 03:34:933 (1183,1184,1185) dkd. Perhaps have 03:37:002 (1190,1191,1192,1193) back to d for the k at 03:38:243
03:45:278 (1218,1219) - hi why is this not dk ._.
03:51:898 to 04:15:898 - I have no idea how you decide when to split up the 1/2s here, I'm just going to ignore it for now lol

7. Bleeps
04:19:622 (1354) - change to k like 04:21:278 (1358) and 04:22:933 (1362), you might want to change 04:21:691 (1359) to k for some variation too if you like it
04:33:691 (1404) and 04:38:657 (1428) and 04:41:967 (1444) - k to match snares, or conversely change the similar places where you've mapped as kd to dd for consistency. 04:48:588 (1480,1481) and 04:50:243 (1489,1490) as well, although those two can be excused since maybe you want more k's for build up?

8. Build-up
04:54:795 to 04:58:105 - add some 1/4s here for a better build-up
05:03:898 (1581,1582,1583,1584,1585,1586) - kkdkkd perhaps
Also: 04:58:519 (1529,1530,1531,1532) vs 05:00:174 (1545,1546,1547,1548) vs 05:01:829 (1561,1562,1563,1564) vs 05:03:484 (1577,1578,1579,1580) - maybe consistency issue again, does it play well? I can't play it, so I can't say whether to change it up or not lol

9. Kiai
Another section where more consistency benefits it. I think you could structure this better, keep the rhythm and how you divide your plets consistent across similar sections, and only change k/d usage.
e.g. 05:29:553 (147,148,149,150,151,152,153,154,155,156,157,158,159) vs 05:54:381 (335,336,337,338,339,340,341,342,343,344,345,346,347,348) - man I really like that syncopated rhythm, why you gotta change it the second time around :(
e.g. 05:51:071 (307,308,309,310,311,312,313,314) vs 05:37:829 (205,206,207,208,209,210,211,212,213)
e.g. 05:45:691 (272,273,274,275,276) vs 05:58:933 (373,374,375)
etc.

Again, do remember that inconsistency is not necessarily bad, and I really like how interesting you've made the map play out despite the repetitiveness of the song. It's just... a bit messy, that's all. And it might become a problem if you really decide to get this ranked in the future.

Side notes
02:31:622 (883,884,885,886,887,888) - I swear this is actually like this:

idk if you like to have any 1/8s in the map though

05:36:174 - kiai fountains are my jam!
Suggestion: end the kiai here at 05:36:174, delete 05:36:588 (202,203)
A longer rest looks better than a shorter one I think

07:10:312 (715,716,717,718) - I don't think this is necessary at the end lmao

I haven't even gone into the actual notes usage yet haha

Please call me back after you've responded and I'll see if I can nitpick it any further ;)

Looking at the general stuff because I don't want to look at whether d or k fits better for all 2.3k notes across 7 minutes lol it used to have like 2.8k lmao overmapped everywhere

Stuff
So the map's a bit messy. In the sense that, on the scale of consistency versus variation you've decided to lean heavily towards the variation side. Of course you could attribute that to being your mapping style, HOWEVER my experience with taiko BNs (in particular Nardo) is that they emphasize heavily on consistency. oh lol you addressed that below

Personally I'd rather lean towards the consistency side, not only because it's easier that way, but also the song itself is basically a bunch of repeats lmao tfw basically everything ive chosen to map is like this, FeelsBadMan
Of course don't copy and paste everything dude i literally did that when i first mapped this LMAO, just, for me I'd not vary up the patterns as much as you have here across the entire map.

EXAMPLES INCLUDE:

1. The entire beginning section is a brilliant showcase of gradual density increase, but to do that you've decided to freely switch up what you're mapping to in the song, which people may find to be a consistency issue.
00:17:967 (21) - this note's not there in 00:14:657
00:15:071 (8,9,10) vs 00:18:381 (22,23,24) - fixed to k_dk
00:15:898 (11,12,13) vs 00:22:519 (44,45,46) 00:15:898 (11) is actually pretty empty sounding, i just like the rhythm of x_xx. due to a basically negligible difference in pitch between it and 00:16:105 (12), i mapped them both as d. with 00:22:519 (44,45,46), 44 is higher in pitch than 45 so i made it a k. changed 46 to a k for consistency
00:28:312 (77,78) and 00:29:967 (87,88) - you've decided to go x__x instead of x_xx like previously fixed the first one, but the second one, i think the __x_ beat there is basically inaudible compared to the previous ones, so im leaving it out
00:36:588 to 00:39:898 - a lack of k's compared to 00:30:588 i have the k's on the beats i feel stand out more than the surrounding beats
Not saying any of these are wrong, they are just inconsistent. Which may or may not be a bad thing. Consult other modders for advice :p yeah regarding the whole first section there's a lot of inconsistency and this is because there used to be streams evvvvverywhere; i only deleted notes from the streams leaving whats there now rather than remapping im lazy lol. for now i've fixed the x_xx to be x_dk, if more issues pop up ill address them.

2. More inconsistency issues later on:
01:21:174 (414,415) vs 01:21:484 (416,417,418,419,420) vs 01:22:105 (421) - trying to match both the bleeps and the electronic drums? You're braver than I am lol, I'd either just go with constant kd or maybe this:

constant kd is boring
i mostly liked your suggestion, but the transition from the k's on the bleeps to the drums at the bit from 417 in ur pic just sounds off in my mind. probably just my weird way of perceiving things lol
In particular 01:22:312 really deserves a note imo. (But really I'd rather just go simple kd kd kd kd etc.) added the note there
(same goes for the rest of this section up to 01:32:036)

3. This part: 01:32:864 to 01:38:657 VS This part: 01:39:484 to 01:45:071
One of the places where I feel like consistency would benefit you more than making varying up the patterns. tbh for this point it probably wasn't even variation i was probably up at 3 am slapping random notes down and going 'damn bruh this sounds good'
like, 01:34:519 (501,502,503,504,505,506,507,508) works well at 01:41:140 too; and 01:43:519 should have a d like 01:36:898 imo did some copypa i mean remapping because it really does fit better. filled in some of the less audible notes to sorta build up a little to the next part

Try ddkk, see if you like it. i prefer kddk cos of the slightly stronger first beat (guitar or whatever idk lol).
honestly i dont know what to think of this section in general. its mapped mostly to what i think is fitting

Also 02:00:795 (660) and 02:04:105 (684) and 02:07:416 (709) and 02:10:726 (733) - you could delete these, break them up. One reason would be for more variation, another would be to set up a density increase when later at 02:12:588 you have more complex patterns. done, there was barely sound on those notes anyway
02:12:795 (748,749,750,751) - kddk like the others im hacing this particular section going dddk kddk, then dddk dddk (each phrase has like 2 of the dundundundun vocal bits) so this matches up
02:30:381 (875,876) - d d, like 02:27:071 (853,854) fixed
02:37:416 (923) - k to match 02:35:760 (911) fixed, and changed a few d's on the guitar beat to k so it isnt just a d spam (tho it pretty much is already lol)

5. 02:45:691 to 03:12:588
This part's good :D Quite consistent, but a lot of interesting rhythm in between the 1/2 k's to make it not boring to play. Only thing is that 03:02:864 might be too long of a stream in comparison with the rest of this section, so perhaps delete 03:03:174 (1067), idk agreed but deleted the note 2 ticks later to make 2 5-note patterns

6. Time for vocals
03:35:347 (1185,1186,1187,1188,1189,1190,1191,1192,1193) - mono k to be consistent with 03:28:519 works better imo, instead of having 03:34:933 (1183,1184,1185) dkd. Perhaps have 03:37:002 (1190,1191,1192,1193) back to d for the k at 03:38:243 going more with the guitar here
03:45:278 (1218,1219) - hi why is this not dk ._. oops
03:51:898 to 04:15:898 - I have no idea how you decide when to split up the 1/2s here, I'm just going to ignore it for now lol following piano, left the gaps where i didnt hear a note

7. Bleeps
04:19:622 (1354) - change to k like 04:21:278 (1358) and 04:22:933 (1362), you might want to change 04:21:691 (1359) to k for some variation too if you like it changed
04:33:691 (1404) and 04:38:657 (1428) and 04:41:967 (1444) - k to match snares, or conversely change the similar places where you've mapped as kd to dd for consistency. 04:48:588 (1480,1481) and 04:50:243 (1489,1490) as well, although those two can be excused since maybe you want more k's for build up? changed the first set to dd's, left them as is from 04:44:864

8. Build-up
04:54:795 to 04:58:105 - add some 1/4s here for a better build-up done. i thought the kkddkkdd were boring anyway
05:03:898 (1581,1582,1583,1584,1585,1586) - kkdkkd perhaps wanted the k's to go on the high pitch bleeps
Also: 04:58:519 (1529,1530,1531,1532) vs 05:00:174 (1545,1546,1547,1548) vs 05:01:829 (1561,1562,1563,1564) vs 05:03:484 (1577,1578,1579,1580) - maybe consistency issue again, does it play well? I can't play it, so I can't say whether to change it up or not lol ^ above reason as to why i put the k's where they are.
i think its pretty playable

9. Kiai
Another section where more consistency benefits it. I think you could structure this better, keep the rhythm and how you divide your plets consistent across similar sections, and only change k/d usage.
e.g. 05:29:553 (147,148,149,150,151,152,153,154,155,156,157,158,159) vs 05:54:381 (335,336,337,338,339,340,341,342,343,344,345,346,347,348) - man I really like that syncopated rhythm, why you gotta change it the second time around :( variation or riot
e.g. 05:51:071 (307,308,309,310,311,312,313,314) vs 05:37:829 (205,206,207,208,209,210,211,212,213)
e.g. 05:45:691 (272,273,274,275,276) vs 05:58:933 (373,374,375)
etc. i think the variation were because of my retarded way of mapping where i pick something that sounds higher in pitch than the surrounding stuff and stick a k there, the second bit of kiai has that weird synth thingy more prominent than at first

Again, do remember that inconsistency is not necessarily bad and I really like how interesting you've made the map play out despite the repetitiveness of the song. Just note that it might be a problem if you really decide to get this ranked in the future.

Side notes
02:31:622 (883,884,885,886,887,888) - I swear this is actually like this:

idk if you like to have any 1/8s in the map though
it sounds better but i don't want to use 1/8, it's why i mapped the bit before the spinner right before kiai as 1/6, just sticking with easy 1/6

05:36:174 - kiai fountains are my jam!
Suggestion: end the kiai here at 05:36:174, delete 05:36:588 (202,203)
A longer rest looks better than a shorter one I think ill go with this

07:10:312 (715,716,717,718) - I don't think this is necessary at the end lmao just trying to break combos at the very end nothing to see here
ok tbh there really is no point to it but i want to leave it for now

I haven't even gone into the actual notes usage yet haha

Please call me back after you've responded and I'll see if I can nitpick it any further ;)
yes pls im garbage at taiko diffs
Thanks a lot for the mod :D
bananannian
we talked about mushrooms
16:08 L1m3s: yo, regarding my map, did you say you had other suggestions in mind?
16:08 bananannian: ahhhhhh
16:09 bananannian: aight I'll look at it more
16:09 bananannian: lol
16:09 L1m3s: oh ,like if there wasnt anything then i dont wanna like
16:09 L1m3s: uhh
16:09 L1m3s: force you to look at it again or anything lol
16:09 bananannian: no, I really didn't even go into note placement last time
16:10 bananannian: so yeah I can probably look into it in more detail
16:10 bananannian: 00:19:933 - you know, I really don't think x__x patterns play very well
16:10 bananannian: like, I REALLY WANT to add a d here
16:11 bananannian: like, REALLY REALLY BADLY
16:11 L1m3s: uh hold on one moment lemme save this other map
16:13 L1m3s: ok yep
16:13 bananannian: 00:26:553 - and like, here I'd add a d
16:13 bananannian: we really have different mapping styles -.-
16:14 L1m3s: like for me
16:14 L1m3s: im listening to it at normal speed
16:14 L1m3s: and whatever i hear
16:14 L1m3s: i just put a note down
16:14 L1m3s: so im probably missing out some minor sounds
16:15 L1m3s: and that ends up making retarded rhythms
16:15 bananannian: meh I just feel like linking those up for a quad is a better build up towards the k
16:15 bananannian: it doesn't really matter
16:16 bananannian: 00:30:278 (89) - quite odd that you didn't map it with a double like the others
16:16 L1m3s: the thing im worried about is like
16:16 L1m3s: i keep adding notes in
16:16 L1m3s: and its gonna end up being what it was before
16:16 bananannian: others as in 00:31:829 (100,101) - 00:28:519 (78,79) - 00:33:484 (109,110) - etc
16:16 L1m3s: which is this huge ass stream everywhere
16:17 L1m3s: for 30:278
16:17 L1m3s: i can barely make out the sound on the tick before
16:17 L1m3s: it sounds so muted
16:17 L1m3s: so i just left is a single d
16:17 L1m3s: it as a*
16:18 bananannian: it's just for consistency's sake
16:19 bananannian: and again, 00:33:174 - I really want to add a d orz
16:19 bananannian: did I mention about this part: 00:37:002 - to 00:39:898 -
16:19 bananannian: the lack of k's is a bit odd
16:20 L1m3s: this song is really repetitive, so with the slight variations in the sounds i can pick out, i wanna emphasise that theyre different
16:20 bananannian: put some long streams in there ;P
16:20 L1m3s: there were tons of them
16:21 L1m3s: then someone told me it was the calmer part so dont overmap
16:21 L1m3s: regarding that part, probably just my mapping style
16:21 L1m3s: going with like
16:21 L1m3s: pitch and stuff
16:22 bananannian: I don't think putting streams at that part would be overmapping
16:22 bananannian: 1, the sounds are really there
16:22 bananannian: 2, it serves as a nice build up
16:22 bananannian: towards 00:39:898 -
16:22 bananannian: after that, you could lower the density a bit
16:23 L1m3s: tbh thats what i thought when i was mapping it lol
16:23 L1m3s: anyway if i add a few d's in the gaps bam we have streams
16:24 bananannian: which is fine
16:24 bananannian: I'd go as far as to do this:
16:24 bananannian: http://puu.sh/n3Ma6/3cafc611ad.jpg
16:25 L1m3s: yea just noticed the notes before the d quad past the book mark
16:25 L1m3s: u moved them back as well
16:25 L1m3s: that was definitely off silly me
16:26 bananannian: 00:42:588 - this k should be at 00:42:691 -
16:26 bananannian: tbh this section from 00:39:898 - to 00:46:519 - should have a much lower density
16:27 L1m3s: ill use the last 2 streams but left the earlier part a little uhh emptier
16:27 bananannian: but I have no idea how to do that lol
16:27 L1m3s: 42:691?
16:27 bananannian: yeah, on the blue line
16:27 L1m3s: not too sure abt that one :\
16:28 bananannian: I'm listening to it at 50% playback
16:28 bananannian: so I am very sure
16:28 bananannian: unless you're not mapping the synth
16:28 bananannian: but the snares
16:29 L1m3s: ok like from 00:42:174
16:29 bananannian: seriously you switch channels so often I get confused at your patternings lmao
16:29 bananannian: sorry if I mistake things you map to for something else
16:29 L1m3s: im hearing it as low low high low high
16:30 L1m3s: no dw even i get confused at what im mapping to sometimes lol
16:31 bananannian: lol
16:31 bananannian: I'm just going to remap this entire part and send you what I did
16:32 bananannian: don't copy my entire thing, since, you know, mapping style and all
16:32 bananannian: just to give you an idea of how I'd map this section
16:33 bananannian: http://puu.sh/n3MrM/6690760020.jpg
16:33 bananannian: http://puu.sh/n3Msb/353a4be10a.jpg
16:33 bananannian: you can see I like to do gradual k build-ups
16:33 bananannian: which may or may not be your thing
16:33 bananannian: I also like to match the electronic drums more than the synth
16:33 L1m3s: ohhhh i get what you mean by 42:691 now
16:34 L1m3s: ok so if u hear that thing at the start with the 4 note d and 5 note d
16:34 L1m3s: idk what instrument that is
16:34 L1m3s: but i was following that
16:34 bananannian: yea?
16:34 bananannian: let's call that the drums for simplicity lmao
16:35 L1m3s: ok haha
16:35 L1m3s: yea now i hear the synth u mentioned
16:35 bananannian: which I don't know if you want to map to
16:35 bananannian: just, throwing ideas at you
16:36 bananannian: moving on, add d at:
16:36 bananannian: 00:47:967 - 00:49:622 - 00:51:278 -
16:36 L1m3s: uhh one moment
16:36 L1m3s: how can i save this chat log
16:36 bananannian: and delete 00:51:484 -
16:36 bananannian: I'll do it
16:36 L1m3s: so i can keep the links
16:36 bananannian: oh, /savelog
16:36 L1m3s: owait im retarded i can just copy the links into notepad
16:36 bananannian: I think
16:36 L1m3s: the puush links
16:36 L1m3s: oh ok ty ididnt know that lol
16:38 bananannian: I see what you mean about the whole map feeling like a long stream now
16:39 bananannian: holy crap infected mushroom why do you use so many sfx
16:39 L1m3s: im cool with those, it still keeps the buildup
16:39 bananannian: uh cool with what again?
16:39 L1m3s: adding d's into like
16:39 L1m3s: 47:967
16:39 bananannian: ah I see
16:40 L1m3s: and others
16:40 bananannian: the main thing is moving the d at 00:51:484 - back 1/2 to 00:51:278 -
16:41 L1m3s: yeah i changed that
16:41 bananannian: so moving on
16:41 bananannian: the next bookmarked section
16:41 bananannian: 00:53:140 - to 01:05:553 -
16:41 bananannian: personally I'd reduce the density a bit
16:42 bananannian: to vary it from the next bit
16:43 bananannian: by next bit I mean 01:06:381 - to 01:19:622 -
16:43 L1m3s: yep i get u
16:43 bananannian: but anyways idk how you'd go about fixing that lol
16:44 L1m3s: yea im thinking rn
16:44 L1m3s: cos ive already got more mapped in that next bit
16:44 L1m3s: it also does have a bit more to work with
16:44 L1m3s: and im not sure what to delete from this first bit
16:45 L1m3s: i mean i could just get rid of some d's again
16:45 bananannian: 00:54:174 (235,236,237) - , 00:55:829 (246,247,248) - , 00:57:484 (256,257,258) - , 00:59:140 (266,267,268) -
16:45 L1m3s: but then id end up with weird rhythms again
16:45 bananannian: I really like 01:00:795 (277,278,279) - k dd for all of the above
16:45 bananannian: to keep something consistent amongst the other plets between those
16:46 L1m3s: oh yea i can fix those
16:46 bananannian: idk about weird rhythm
16:46 bananannian: weird rhythms are nice
16:47 bananannian: but this is probably what I'd work with: http://puu.sh/n3MXS/f080b7b08f.jpg
16:47 L1m3s: wait which part is this
16:48 L1m3s: the first part of this bit
16:48 L1m3s: holy shit im so bad at describing things
16:48 bananannian: 227 is at 00:53:140 -
16:48 L1m3s: ohh ok i got u
16:48 bananannian: it won't be 227 for you because I've changed a lot of things lol
16:49 L1m3s: its 226 for me now haha
16:49 L1m3s: close
16:49 bananannian: that pic I linked is a 1 bar phrase
16:50 L1m3s: yea my hitsounding was definitely off there
16:50 L1m3s: im fixing that now
16:50 bananannian: up to 01:05:553 - is 8 bars of the same thing
16:50 bananannian: so meh, I'd just copy and paste that pattern 8 times
16:50 bananannian: while adding or subtracting notes here and there lol
16:51 bananannian: idk if you want to do that haha
16:51 L1m3s: lmao thats what i did for the 1/6 section
16:51 L1m3s: the thing is copy paste on its own sounds so boring
16:51 L1m3s: like i tried to map tower of heaven
16:52 L1m3s: and i copy pasted the whole thing
16:52 L1m3s: and tbh it was incredibly boring
16:52 bananannian: you could still make it interesting by adding enough variation to the same idea
16:52 bananannian: like, the original is k ddk k d k dd
16:52 bananannian: you could do:
16:53 bananannian: k d kdk ddk dd
16:53 L1m3s: im doing like k ddk kdd k dd
16:53 bananannian: k dkd k ddk dd
16:53 L1m3s: lol that was my plan for the next one
16:53 L1m3s: the first one
16:53 bananannian: k dd dk d k dd
16:53 bananannian: k ddkd kd k dd
16:54 L1m3s: yeah lots to work with, with all these sounds
16:54 L1m3s: so many
16:54 L1m3s: sounds
16:54 bananannian: infected mushroom pls
16:54 bananannian: whatever, this section's alright I guess
16:54 bananannian: lol
16:54 bananannian: main thing is the k dd at the end
16:54 bananannian: keep something consistent across this entire part
16:55 bananannian: I find that usually works well
16:56 bananannian: 01:18:795 - http://puu.sh/n3NjA/5dd0e90821.jpg
16:57 bananannian: highlighted note is a big D
16:57 bananannian: actually this section is a bit too dense for my liking as well
16:57 bananannian: but it's fine
16:57 bananannian: if you like the current density don't change a thing
16:58 bananannian: maybe 01:11:967 (348,349,350,351,352,353,354,355,356) - break this up a bit
16:58 bananannian: that's all
16:58 L1m3s: theres a big d?
16:58 L1m3s: i dont have one in that part of the map
16:58 bananannian: no, I was suggesting to add it
16:59 L1m3s: ohhhhh
16:59 L1m3s: right
16:59 bananannian: oh crap, for the 01:11:967 - one the note numbers for you would be different
16:59 bananannian: you know the stream I mean right?
17:00 L1m3s: all good as long as i have a timestamp i can work with it
17:00 L1m3s: this is like dkd ddkddkddd?
17:00 bananannian: yeah
17:01 L1m3s: im thionking delete to make dkd ddk dkddd
17:01 bananannian: the synth there isn't that high pitched, so the density there doesn't reflect the synth that well imo
17:02 bananannian: how about dkd ddk dk dd?
17:02 L1m3s: yea i think i beefed that part up to make it more dense than the previous part
17:03 L1m3s: theres like a big beat there hmm
17:04 bananannian: well you've been mapping density to the synth before
17:04 bananannian: like, at 01:13:622 - and 01:16:933 -
17:04 L1m3s: ok, dk dd sounds pretty good
17:04 bananannian: both were places with intense synth and you did streams
17:05 bananannian: and like, e.g. 01:15:071 - the synth was low pitched and you broke it up to simple plets and singles
17:05 L1m3s: yea my consistency is garbage
17:05 L1m3s: much like in actual play
17:05 bananannian: lmao I'm rank 5k in taiko
17:05 L1m3s: 33k pc and only ~800 scores which are a s or ss
17:05 bananannian: don't talk to me about consistency
17:06 L1m3s: im probably least skilled in whole top 1k
17:06 bananannian: although I don't play this gamemode at all LMAO
17:06 L1m3s: srs
17:06 L1m3s: really?
17:06 L1m3s: i wouldnt have thought so from ur maps
17:06 bananannian: hey, did you see the puush I sent you about 01:18:795 -
17:07 bananannian: uhhh so I drum irl
17:07 L1m3s: ur choice of notes is like really good i couldnt find basically any flaws in that felt map
17:07 bananannian: thanks! :D
17:07 L1m3s: oh yea i got that puush
17:08 bananannian: ok, moving on then :J
17:08 bananannian: 01:21:278 - I REALLY like the pattern you have here now
17:08 bananannian: d kddkd k dkd
17:08 bananannian: really nice
17:09 bananannian: 01:25:416 - how about: http://puu.sh/n3NLa/9a48a02677.jpg
17:09 bananannian: isolate 444 for emphasis
17:10 L1m3s: oh yea that sounds good
17:10 L1m3s: i kept mapping those twisty sounds for some reason
17:10 bananannian: 01:28:829 - probably add a d here to link up the patterns
17:11 bananannian: oh I did mention how I hate x__x patterns right
17:11 bananannian: or a d at 01:28:726 - is better actually
17:11 L1m3s: i think u mentioned it at the start lol
17:12 L1m3s: yea i was leaning towards the 726
17:12 bananannian: 01:31:209 - I think dkddkdkdd plays better
17:12 L1m3s: ill go with that
17:13 L1m3s: im not too sure about playability for these weird patterns
17:13 bananannian: 01:38:657 - d_d__d__D
17:13 L1m3s: stuff thats like playable with index fingers only i can leave like the stream before kiai
17:14 L1m3s: that rhythm feels weird
17:14 L1m3s: d__d__D
17:14 bananannian: it does
17:14 L1m3s: lmao just as you said
17:14 bananannian: but that's how the sfx in the music goes LOL
17:14 L1m3s: x__x
17:15 bananannian: oh hey try removing the d at 01:38:657 -
17:15 bananannian: and keep the d__d__D
17:15 L1m3s: yeah haha just did that
17:16 L1m3s: yep thats much better
17:16 L1m3s: yea about ur felt map
17:16 L1m3s: that 1/6 rhythm is retarded to work out and play
17:16 L1m3s: how u mapped it originally sounded fine tbh
17:16 bananannian: I changed it back
17:17 bananannian: and turned it all to d
17:17 bananannian: apparently
17:17 L1m3s: my accuracy is garbage so i can hear when stuff is off lol
17:17 bananannian: there's drum sounds 1/6 ahead of the bleeps
17:17 L1m3s: oh gtg for dinner
17:17 bananannian: and so the 1/3 pattern actually matches the drum sounds
17:17 L1m3s: ill be back later
17:17 bananannian: aight
17:18 L1m3s: and thanks a lot for the feedback its really appreciated
17:18 bananannian: np guy, I enjoy irl modding :)
17:18 bananannian: irc*
17:18 L1m3s: ill be back in like 20-30 mins
17:18 bananannian: not irl*
17:18 bananannian: dafuq irl modding lol
17:18 L1m3s: no clue what time it is for u
17:18 bananannian: 5pm
17:19 bananannian: take your time with dinner lmao
17:19 L1m3s: irl? never heard of that server tbh
17:19 L1m3s: :^)
17:19 bananannian: www.reddit.com/r/outside
17:31 bananannian: the legend of the big black
17:31 bananannian: the legend of the black shawalamadingdong
17:31 bananannian: idk lol
17:32 bananannian: if you like my maps play this one:
17:32 *bananannian is listening to [https://osu.ppy.sh/b/861723 borzy feat. Marica - Dream Debris]
17:32 bananannian: also working on this
17:32 *bananannian is listening to [https://osu.ppy.sh/b/899703 150P - Bookmark of Demise Project - Songs Collection]
17:32 bananannian: I have no idea why I'm spending so much time mapping a gamemode I don't even play lol
17:38 bananannian: make sure to have kiai glow on
17:47 L1m3s: screw kiai glow
17:47 L1m3s: first thing i did when starting this game mode
17:47 L1m3s: is dl wzxxzw's skin
17:47 L1m3s: cos no kiai glow
17:47 bananannian: man kiai flashes are really fun to look at though :\
17:48 L1m3s: my eyes cant handle it
17:48 L1m3s: thats why i cant play hr either
17:51 L1m3s: ive updated with the changes thus far
17:52 bananannian: add a d 01:02:967 -
17:53 L1m3s: ok
17:54 bananannian: 02:05:140 - since 02:05:140 (691,692,693) - you've decided to map as triplets, I think 02:05:553 (694,695,696) - should be as well
17:54 bananannian: whoops, I mean 02:05:553 (694,695) -
17:55 bananannian: same thing goes for 02:12:174 (741,742) -
17:55 L1m3s: add a d at 2.05.647?
17:55 bananannian: doesn't really matter, nitpicking
17:55 L1m3s: i mean657
17:55 bananannian: yea
17:56 bananannian: and likewise 02:18:795 - and 02:25:416 -
17:57 L1m3s: done
17:57 bananannian: 02:25:829 (841) - D?
17:58 bananannian: do you not like using D or K in general? quite a lot of places I think could use some finishers lol
17:58 L1m3s: oh right originally the finishers here were messy af
17:58 L1m3s: so i removed them all
17:58 L1m3s: im adding them back in now
17:58 bananannian: oh for 02:38:243 - I think alternating big and small notes could be a nice effect
17:59 bananannian: like, have the d at 02:38:553 - and 02:39:071 - be big ones
17:59 bananannian: and at 02:38:243 - and 02:38:864 - small
18:01 L1m3s: i like the sound of it
18:01 bananannian: add a d at 02:40:622 - to accentuate the sound at 02:40:726 -
18:01 bananannian: or at 02:40:829 -
18:01 bananannian: idk it just feels a bit empty
18:02 L1m3s: ill jusy make 726 a finisher
18:02 L1m3s: just*
18:02 bananannian: alright
18:03 bananannian: 02:45:071 - personally I don't think having the slider end on a strong beat place enough emphasis on the strong beat
18:03 bananannian: I would actually put a note there
18:03 bananannian: like this: http://puu.sh/n3PF4/a1e5dbb60d.jpg
18:03 bananannian: maybe add finish as well
18:04 L1m3s: yep i just did that
18:04 L1m3s: yep
18:05 bananannian: 02:58:933 (1031) - add finish?
18:05 bananannian: maybe this as well 03:05:553 (1075) -
18:06 L1m3s: yep
18:06 bananannian: 03:25:416 - I like the sound of kdkdd better
18:07 bananannian: k for vocals
18:07 bananannian: and the dd at the end to match guitar
18:07 bananannian: 03:28:519 - change to k to d for a clear cut between the phrases
18:07 L1m3s: hmmm
18:07 bananannian: like how you did 03:32:036 -
18:08 bananannian: 03:46:519 (1214) - k lol
18:08 L1m3s: hmm
18:08 L1m3s: i like 3:25 and 3:28 as they are
18:09 L1m3s: ok maybe 3:25 vocals is actually alright
18:09 bananannian: ok fine np
18:09 L1m3s: 3:28
18:09 L1m3s: that particular
18:09 L1m3s: note
18:09 L1m3s: is already sounding higher
18:10 bananannian: how about dkdk for 3:28 then?
18:10 bananannian: just throwing ideas at you
18:11 L1m3s: still think dkkk is more fitting
18:11 L1m3s: i like going with the pitch of notes
18:11 L1m3s: for some reason
18:11 L1m3s: even tho taiko is a drum game
18:11 bananannian: aight
18:11 bananannian: 04:06:381 - add a note?
18:12 bananannian: 04:11:967 (1318) - I'm not hearing the piano here lol
18:14 bananannian: 04:15:484 (1333) - not hearing it here either
18:14 L1m3s: its like
18:14 L1m3s: idk how to describe a chord
18:14 L1m3s: a 7th?
18:14 bananannian: where?
18:14 L1m3s: no its a 9th
18:15 L1m3s: 4:11
18:15 L1m3s: its f a c g
18:15 L1m3s: the f is so faint
18:15 L1m3s: its first note of that broken chord
18:15 bananannian: nah it's f a c f
18:15 bananannian: that's just a tonic
18:16 bananannian: aight I hear it now
18:16 bananannian: lol
18:16 L1m3s: whoops
18:16 L1m3s: the next one is
18:16 L1m3s: ok maybe not the next but
18:16 bananannian: 04:16:416 (1337) - move 1/4 forward
18:16 L1m3s: i heard facg
18:16 L1m3s: somewhere
18:17 bananannian: I turned the sample volume to 0% and I can't hear it in the music tho
18:17 bananannian: for the note at 04:15:484 -
18:18 L1m3s: 484 defs doesnt have anote
18:18 L1m3s: removed
18:20 bananannian: how about 04:16:416- ?
18:21 L1m3s: yeah the vocal there is like weird
18:21 L1m3s: that was my best approximation
18:21 bananannian: just move it 1/4 forward
18:21 bananannian: trust me, the vocal's there lol
18:22 bananannian: 04:29:967 - how about mapping this bar to the vocals instead of the synth to change it up a bit?
18:22 L1m3s: ok yea that sounds right
18:22 L1m3s: i thought before it was inbetween the ticks
18:22 bananannian: like this perhaps: http://puu.sh/n3QkO/fd97784759.jpg
18:23 bananannian: 04:51:484 (1482) - finish
18:23 L1m3s: sounds good
18:23 bananannian: and 05:04:519 - you could add dd here
18:24 bananannian: to add 0.01 to your SR
18:24 bananannian: lol
18:24 L1m3s: fuck yeah lets do it
18:24 bananannian: 05:08:450 (1,2,3) - ehhhh the drum roll's still going
18:24 bananannian: perhaps delete these and extend your spinner to the 3
18:25 L1m3s: yea
18:25 bananannian: 05:09:691 (4,5,6) - try having finish on these?
18:26 L1m3s: haha yea i just added them
18:28 L1m3s: lmao now its kiai
18:28 bananannian: I maintain my stance that 05:54:381 -
18:28 bananannian: should have offbeat rhythm
18:28 bananannian: like 05:29:553 -
18:28 bananannian: honestly I don't think there's anything to change in the kiai lol
18:29 bananannian: except for that
18:29 L1m3s: ok hold on ill look into it
18:29 bananannian: the song's very repetitive, so throw a bunch of notes in there and call it a day
18:29 bananannian: good enough for me
18:29 L1m3s: ohhhhh that part
18:30 bananannian: I don't even know how I'd go about mapping this section lmao
18:30 bananannian: but kiai should end at 06:04:312 -
18:31 bananannian: if this isn't going for rank, I'd have the kiai end at 06:02:657 -
18:31 bananannian: and start another one at 06:03:898 - that ends at 06:04:312 -
18:31 bananannian: for a nice kiai fountain effect
18:33 L1m3s: i wanna try for ranked
18:33 L1m3s: approved
18:33 L1m3s: whatevs it is
18:34 bananannian: then end the kiai at 06:04:312 - I think
18:34 bananannian: 06:05:967 - this gap is weird lol, I like how you did it at 06:19:209 - better
18:34 L1m3s: oh yea wtf
18:34 L1m3s: 6:04 for kiai end is right
18:35 bananannian: 06:09:484 (426) - move this 1/2 backwards if you want to match guitar
18:36 L1m3s: used the 619 at 605
18:36 L1m3s: yeah i thinkthat works better
18:37 bananannian: 06:17:140 (455,456) - k D perhaps
18:38 bananannian: 06:30:381 (504,505,506) - similarly, kkD
18:39 L1m3s: 6:17, using d D
18:40 bananannian: alright, at the very end: 07:08:243 - 07:08:864 - 07:09:278 -
18:40 bananannian: change to k
18:40 L1m3s: i dont like using finishers at the end of a 1/4
18:40 L1m3s: even if its valid under RC
18:40 bananannian: but those are 1/2 ._.
18:41 L1m3s: oh right
18:41 L1m3s: when i saw k D the kkD
18:41 L1m3s: then*
18:41 L1m3s: i assumed that was 1/2 and 1/4
18:42 bananannian: yeah I probably should have spaced that out
18:42 bananannian: lol
18:42 L1m3s: i think k d D for second one
18:42 L1m3s: theres a sound for it
18:42 bananannian: sure, why not
18:44 L1m3s: yep.. ending changed
18:44 bananannian: ooh I just had an idea
18:44 bananannian: 07:10:312 - the 1/6s
18:44 bananannian: how about change that to a slider
18:44 bananannian: and have increased SV
18:45 L1m3s: ooohhh
18:45 L1m3s: but thatsounds good
18:45 L1m3s: yea i havent gotten around to sv yet
18:45 L1m3s: 3 tick slider tho
18:46 bananannian: hmmm
18:46 bananannian: spinner works as well
18:46 bananannian: idk now that I've added the SV it doesn't actually look that great haha
18:47 L1m3s: 12x sv or riot
18:47 bananannian: let me try something stupid like 4x
18:47 L1m3s: use max go hard or go home
18:47 bananannian: lmfao
18:48 bananannian: hey if you use 4x a slider doesn't look that bad anymore
18:48 bananannian: but anyways in general
18:48 bananannian: I don't think the map needs tons of SV
18:49 bananannian: even as it is right now, 1.60 throughout plays well enough
18:49 L1m3s: yea
18:49 L1m3s: wtf bss pls let me upload
18:50 bananannian: woah wtf can I actually pass this mapj
18:50 L1m3s: help
18:50 L1m3s: bss
18:50 L1m3s: is failing
18:51 L1m3s: firetruck
18:53 L1m3s: brb gonna restart osu

01:38 IControl: some parts are over mapped 2
    01:38 Invective: chorus?
    01:38 IControl: 03:25:416 -
    01:38 IControl: like this part
01:38 IControl: they just dont go with the other partterns
01:38 IControl: you could change the k
    01:38 IControl: to d
01:39 IControl: and remove the last 2 d's
    01:39 IControl: 03:28:519 (1156) -
01:39 IControl: this could be rmoved
    01:39 IControl: stuff like that
    01:40 IControl: 03:39:691 (1191) -
    01:40 IControl: this
    01:40 IControl: remove
    01:40 Invective: oh yeah
01:40 IControl: ill just mod it lo..
01:41 IControl: its not that many mistakes
01:41 Invective: ok, so u said earlier, there were some patterns you couldnt hear
01:41 Invective: 03:51:898 - was it this part?
    01:41 IControl: Yes
01:42 Invective: oh so i was going for the piano in the background
01:42 Invective: im rhythmically challenged so i mapped it to the pitch
    01:42 IControl: ok
    01:42 IControl: 03:53:553 (1243) -
    01:42 IControl: remove
01:43 IControl: and the kats and dons are mapped wrong here 2
    01:44 IControl: acttually
    01:44 IControl: 03:53:553 -
    01:44 IControl: add D
    01:45 IControl: 03:53:760 -
    01:45 IControl: d
    01:45 IControl: 03:54:381 (1244) - k
    01:45 IControl: 03:54:795 (1246) - d
    01:46 IControl: 03:55:622 (1250) - k
01:46 Invective: oh yea the 3:54 ones were defs off ._.
    01:46 IControl: 03:57:484 - d
    01:47 IControl: 03:57:691 (1260) -
    01:47 IControl: k
    01:47 IControl: 03:58:105 (1262) - k
01:47 Invective: 3:57:484 doesnt have a note on it?
    01:48 IControl: add d
    01:48 IControl: 03:57:484 -
01:48 Invective: no i mean like
01:49 Invective: theres like nothing there in the music
01:49 Invective: i dont feel like a note goes there
    01:50 IControl: ok wops sorry
    01:50 IControl: lol
    01:50 Invective: lol
    01:50 IControl: 04:00:381 -
01:50 IControl: you can add d here tho
    01:51 IControl: 04:01:416 (1277) -
    01:51 IControl: k
    01:51 Invective: i hear the notes f a c from 04:00:588, i dont think the piano starts at :381
    01:52 Invective: changed the k
    01:52 IControl: 04:01:622 (1278,1279) - change this to kdd
01:52 IControl: the bass sound of the paion
    01:52 IControl: panio
01:53 Invective: for all these piano notes with bass
01:53 Invective: if i added finishers
01:53 Invective: would there be too many in this section
01:53 IControl: you chould just make it d
    01:54 Invective: ok
    01:54 IControl: a04:01:622 (1278,1279,1280) -
01:54 IControl: change this to kkd
01:54 Invective: yeah i was thinking kkd originally
    01:54 IControl: 04:03:071 (1285) - k
    01:55 IControl: 04:03:484 (1287) - k
    01:55 IControl: 04:03:691 - add d
    01:56 IControl: 04:04:726 (1293) - k
01:56 Invective: i dont think theres a piano sound on 691
01:56 IControl: the bass sound again
01:56 IControl: the bass sound kinda lingers
01:57 IControl: so it feels like 2 notes
01:57 Invective: yea i get that it lingers
01:57 Invective: thing is taiko doesnt have osu equivalent of like
    01:57 Invective: held notes
    01:57 Invective: like osu sliders
    01:57 IControl: yup
    01:57 Invective: so :c
    01:58 IControl: 04:05:140 (1295,1296,1297,1298,1299,1300,1301,1302,1303,1304,1305,1306,1307,1308,1309,1310,1311,1312,1313,1314,1315,1316,1317,1318,1319,1320,1321,1322,1323,1324,1325,1326,1327,1328,1329,1330,1331,1332,1333,1334,1335,1336,1337) -
    01:58 IControl: this part
    01:58 IControl: you can remove
01:58 IControl: and copy and past the last part we just made
01:58 IControl: just cuz its the same thing
    01:59 Invective: ok one moment
01:59 Invective: is the last note

    02:03 Invective: originally
    02:03 IControl: starts at04:15:691 (1339) -
    02:03 IControl: d d d
    02:03 IControl: d 04:16:519 (1342,1343) -
    02:03 IControl: dd
    02:04 IControl: d d*
    02:04 IControl: 04:17:140 (1344) -
    02:04 IControl: d
    02:04 Invective: then d d k?
    02:04 IControl: 04:17:553 (1345) - d
    02:04 IControl: 04:17:967 (1346) - k
    02:04 Invective: ok
    02:05 IControl: ok so ready?

    02:05 IControl: nvm
    02:05 IControl: 04:05:967 (1297) - k

    02:06 IControl: 04:06:588 (1299) - k
    02:06 Invective: first bit
    02:06 IControl: oh
    02:06 IControl: ok nvm
02:06 IControl: and it matches up right
02:06 Invective: yea i was just confused which notes to delete and replace

    02:06 Invective: yes
    02:06 IControl: kk
    02:07 IControl: 04:15:691 (1336) - k

    02:07 IControl: 04:15:691 (1336,1337) -
    02:07 IControl: remove
02:08 Invective: yea this piano section is probably the one where my hitsounding was garbo
    02:08 IControl: 04:17:553 (1340) - k
02:08 Invective: i wanna keep notes on there while the pianno is still playing
    02:08 IControl: 04:17:967 (1341) - d
02:08 IControl: its sounds weird cuz your going to map to vocal
    02:09 Invective: ok
02:09 IControl: but if you want to
    02:09 IControl: go ahead
02:09 Invective: but for vocals right
    02:09 Invective: i think 553 as d and 967 as k makes sense
    02:09 IControl: now this part04:18:381 (1342) -
02:09 IControl: ur missing beats lol
02:09 Invective: cos like 553 and notes before are same pitch and 967 is higher

23:53 Invective: yea i thought this part was abit like
23:53 Invective: weird
23:53 Invective: idk
23:53 Invective: i didnt know how to fill it up
23:54 IControl: 04:20:036 -
23:54 Invective: maybe from here
23:54 Invective: 04:20:036 -
23:54 Invective: last double use kk? instead of kd
23:54 IControl: nice
23:55 IControl: ok
23:55 IControl: do the same double pattern from before
23:55 Invective: yep
23:55 IControl: but at 04:21:278 -
23:55 IControl: it changes a bit
23:55 IControl: try kdkdk
23:56 IControl: starting from 04:21:278 -
23:56 IControl: actually
23:56 IControl: kkddk sounds better
23:57 Invective: i was gonna say kkkdk but yea i think first 2 notes as k is better
23:57 Invective: yea ill do kkddk
23:57 IControl: 04:20:036 -
23:58 IControl: i dont like the 2nd k
23:58 IControl: cuz it messes up the flow
23:58 Invective: wait where is that second k?
23:58 IControl: did you add one
23:58 IControl: didnt you
23:58 Invective: wait no
23:59 Invective: i meant
23:59 Invective: 04:21:277 (1361,1362) -
23:59 Invective: where we have kkddk
23:59 Invective: prev was kd__k
23:59 Invective: i changed to kk__k
23:59 Invective: and now its kkddk
23:59 IControl: oh
23:59 IControl: alright
23:59 IControl: nvm
23:59 IControl: lets keep going
23:59 Invective: ok
00:00 IControl: same double pattern
00:00 Invective: yep got it
00:00 IControl: 04:22:933 -
00:01 IControl: try kdkkd
00:01 Invective: ok
00:01 IControl: 04:23:657 - add d
00:02 IControl: 04:24:071 - d
00:02 IControl: 04:23:967 (1378) - change to k
00:03 IControl: 04:24:278 - change do dk
00:03 IControl: change to kd
00:03 IControl: 04:24:795 - kd
00:04 IControl: should look like this starting form 04:23:347 -
00:04 IControl: http://puu.sh/nfI50/b1c988ddea.jpg
00:05 Invective: got it
00:05 IControl: repeat it
00:05 IControl: for next part
00:06 IControl: end here 04:31:622 -
00:06 Invective: yep
00:06 IControl: start here 04:25:002 -
00:06 IControl: ok you got it?
00:06 Invective: yep
00:06 IControl: kk
00:07 Invective: should i remove finisher on
00:07 Invective: 04:31:622 -
00:07 Invective: or is it ok
00:07 IControl: its ok
00:07 Invective: cool
00:07 IControl: 04:32:036 (1417) - change to k
00:08 IControl: 04:32:657 (1419) - change to k
00:08 IControl: 04:32:760 (1420,1421) - remove
00:08 IControl: 04:33:071 (1420,1421) - remove
00:08 IControl: 04:33:691 (1421) - k
00:09 IControl: 04:34:312 (1423) - k
00:09 IControl: starts to repeat here
00:09 IControl: how does it sound?
00:10 Invective: id have thought this part would be a bit denser compared to last
00:10 Invective: sounds a bit
00:10 Invective: empty
00:10 IControl: ok
00:10 IControl: ahh
00:10 IControl: i wasnt sure what you liked
00:10 IControl: i can try to make it more dence tho
00:10 Invective: thats sorta what i had in mind originally
00:11 IControl: well
00:11 IControl: the only way i can make it denser is with 1/6s
00:11 IControl: but it doesnt sound good
00:11 IControl: i end up with the same double pattern
00:12 IControl: just that the dd is now kd
00:12 Invective: well it just sounds weird to be like
00:12 Invective: a lot less dense
00:12 Invective: than the last part
00:12 IControl: http://puu.sh/nfIrU/4707f40df9.jpg
00:12 Invective: when theres more happening
00:13 IControl: i just hear more ks
00:13 Invective: yea same
00:13 IControl: but if you want
00:14 IControl: 04:31:829 -
00:14 IControl: add d
00:14 Invective: naw i think ill keep the double rhythm
00:14 Invective: sounds gud
00:14 IControl: it kinda repeats from there i feel like i dont have to mod it
00:14 IControl: cuz you know the double pattern
00:14 Invective: ye
00:15 IControl: then 6 hit stream
00:16 IControl: 05:04:726 (1622,1623,1624,1625,1626,1627,1628,1629,1630,1631,1632,1633,1634,1635,1636) -
00:16 IControl: kinda over mapped
00:16 IControl: would start the spiner here 05:04:726 -
00:16 Invective: i swear its 1/8 tho
00:17 IControl: it is
00:17 Invective: but im nice so i use 1/6 c:
00:17 IControl: and its 2 hard
00:17 Invective: thing is
00:17 Invective: like
00:17 IControl: feel like something in a 6 star map
00:17 Invective: i got several diff opinions on this
00:17 Invective: and the other 1/6
00:18 IControl: hmm
00:18 IControl: petty sure tna hates over mapped stuff
00:18 IControl: so i would take it out
00:18 IControl: 05:16:519 -
00:18 IControl: try not to use any single hits here
00:18 Invective: ill leave it for now but itll go if it needs to
00:19 IControl: ok
00:19 Invective: no single hits?
00:19 Invective: oh right i see
00:20 IControl: 05:17:450 -
00:20 IControl: i feel like this stream could be longer
00:20 IControl: so add d?
00:20 Invective: ok one moment
00:20 Invective: so about the single notes thing
00:21 Invective: u mean in this section in general?
00:21 IControl: yea
00:21 IControl: cuz the stream parts sound good
00:21 Invective: ok
00:21 IControl: the single hits kinda take away from it
00:21 Invective: cos like
00:21 Invective: the streams used to be
00:21 Invective: the whole thing
00:21 IControl: 05:11:657 -
00:21 IControl: this part sounds werid too
00:21 Invective: and then i think like agu or someone else was like
00:22 Invective: pls
00:22 Invective: dont do this
00:22 IControl: well
00:22 IControl: you could have the space
00:22 IControl: 05:13:933 - like this space is fine
00:23 IControl: i just think
00:23 IControl: like if you going to make a streaming section
00:23 IControl: it should be all streams
00:23 IControl: most maps do that too
00:23 IControl: i would take out the triples 2
00:24 Invective: 1 min straight of streams
00:24 Invective: kreygasm
00:24 IControl: not a pure stream
00:24 IControl: like i said
00:24 Invective: yea ik
00:24 IControl: the sapce you have are good
00:24 IControl: but i feel 1 min of streams could make the map rating higher
00:24 IControl: without the need of 1/6s
00:24 IControl: and its more fun 2 play
00:24 Invective: ok lemme get the whole doubles thingies sorted
00:25 Invective: brb 30 sec gotta get some cheesecake
00:25 IControl: ok lol
00:29 Invective: ok so im using the doubles rhythm
00:29 Invective: for this bit
00:29 Invective: and adding a few notes here and there
00:29 Invective: will update in a bit
00:29 IControl: ok
00:36 Invective: what do u think of
00:36 Invective: 05:29:450 -
00:36 Invective: that lil bit
00:36 Invective: cos i like that rhythm tbh
00:36 Invective: dont wanna turn it into a stream
00:36 IControl: then just add singles
00:37 IControl: but definly not triples
00:37 Invective: ok so
00:37 Invective: why u say not triples
00:37 Invective: like i wanna know
00:38 Invective: cos im fucking garbage at taiko
00:38 IControl: thats like
00:38 IControl: putting triples in the double pattern
00:38 IControl: it doesnt fit
00:38 IControl: you have stream patterns going on
00:39 IControl: it feels awkward
00:39 IControl: i would be like
00:39 IControl: huh i was doing streams
00:39 IControl: not triples
00:39 Invective: i see
00:39 IControl: do you have any streamy maps?
00:39 IControl: ranked maps
00:40 Invective: renatus
00:40 Invective: reunion
00:40 IControl: ok
00:40 Invective: oyea i see
00:40 IControl: yea those are just treams
00:40 IControl: streams
00:40 Invective: ok i get u
00:40 IControl: 05:37:829 -
00:40 IControl: actually over there
00:40 IControl: i was thinking you could do along stream like in rentus
00:41 IControl: fck
00:41 IControl: 06:04:312 -
00:41 IControl: here
00:41 IControl: sorry
00:41 Invective: o
00:42 IControl: then get rid of the triples at kai time there
00:42 Invective: ok ill start with kiai time and beef it up a bit
00:42 Invective: i wanna leave the non-kiai for a bit and see
00:42 IControl: yea
00:42 IControl: 06:30:795 - this could not be kai time 2
00:44 Invective: i didnt know
00:44 Invective: where to put it
00:44 Invective: lol
00:44 Invective: should i just add kiai into like
00:44 Invective: 06:04:312 -
00:44 Invective: and that part thats currently not kiai
00:44 Invective: actuallyt
00:44 Invective: idek
00:50 Invective: ok updated
00:51 IControl: ok
00:51 *IControl is playing [https://osu.ppy.sh/b/731440 Infected Mushroom - The Legend of the Black Shawarma [Oni]] <Taiko> +HardRock
00:58 IControl: ok
00:58 IControl: just gotta fix that part
00:59 Invective: ok
00:59 IControl: 06:04:312 -
00:59 IControl: like i said long stream
00:59 IControl: imo
00:59 IControl: the other part b4 that was fun :D
00:59 Invective: gimme a moment
00:59 Invective: my eyes hurt
00:59 IControl: srry lol
00:59 Invective: watching/playing hr
00:59 Invective: is like
00:59 Invective: painful
00:59 Invective: lol dw
00:59 IControl: whats ur res?
01:00 IControl: resloution?
01:00 Invective: 1380x720
01:00 IControl: ohh
01:00 Invective: 1280*
01:00 IControl: thats weird
01:00 Invective: wait
01:00 Invective: yea it is
01:00 IControl: most ppl use 1024x768
01:00 IControl: u can use ctrl o
01:00 IControl: btw
01:00 IControl: if u didnt wanna leave ur beat map
01:01 IControl: wait nvm
01:01 IControl: that only works in muipltplayer lol
01:01 Invective: works in song select not in editor
01:01 Invective: just tried
01:01 Invective: yea my eyes cant stand hr
01:01 Invective: which is fine since my acc is garbage so id never play hr anyway
01:02 Invective: ok so ill save a copy of this .osu first
01:02 Invective: then make one with long stream
01:02 IControl: ok
01:03 Invective: should i delete what i got atm?
01:03 IControl: you could make streams around the objects you have
01:04 Invective: ok
01:04 IControl: i wouldnt detel it
01:04 Invective: i mean i like what i got thus far
01:04 Invective: so yea ill fill in stuff
01:05 IControl: 06:15:898 - you could break the long stream at this part with singels
01:06 Invective: 4 singles on the white ticks?
01:06 Invective: or just keep what i got
01:06 IControl: i like the white ticks
01:06 IControl: but up 2 u
01:07 Invective: im thinking if im gonna have a huge ass tream
01:07 Invective: stream*
01:07 Invective: then white ticks only is probs better
01:07 Invective: k k k k on the ticks
01:08 IControl: i like d k d k
01:08 IControl: cuz it maps to the bass
01:08 Invective: ah ok
01:10 Invective: ok so if i make these 2 ~15 sec streams
01:10 Invective: 06:30:795 -
01:10 Invective: the bit from here
01:10 Invective: which is retarded kiai rn
01:10 Invective: just leave it?
01:10 IControl: i would take out kai time
01:10 Invective: ye
01:10 Invective: ill figureout what to do with kiai
01:11 Invective: but in terms of notes
01:11 Invective: i think its ok

01:32 IControl: pm me if you need me
01:32 Invective: cool

d:don / red note k:kat/blue note

General Thing : maybe add tag ? like : marathon psychedelic trance ok

00:25:416 - maybe add d and here d too ? 00:25:519 - i prefer to keep the k_dk_ rhythm just for that first part

00:27:174 - d 00:27:278 - k ? no sound on 00:27:174, added d to 00:27:278 for d_d_d_d_d rhythm

00:46:933 - ~ 00:51:278 - make them big don and kat ? i'll try just big kats, i think big dons as well is a bit excessive

01:12:588 - d yep

01:12:898 - d dont want too may longer patterns in this section

01:32:450 (485) - change to k ? ok
01:36:174 (506) - change k ? i want to keep a d d k rhythm on the 1/2 beat at the start of each bar
01:37:829 (515) - change k ^ same as above

01:45:070 (555) - change to k and 01:45:174 - add d here ? change k, didnt add d as i feel the k is sufficient

01:47:347 - add d 01:47:553 (566) - there are no voice here you can delete it there is a faint ticking sound, but i'll go with this delete, not adding d since i wanted to differentiate slightly from the next part as the song is rather repetitive

01:47:760 (567) - finish leaving it for now

01:50:657 - add d 01:50:864 (589) - delete im confuse because repeated note all time @@ im sorry ^ same as above

02:58:312 (1032) - change to d ? want k's to go with guitar

05:49:829 - ~05:50:657 - add d to that 3 note ? i prefer to keep that bit in the music consistently as single beats

05:53:657 (343) - delete this note , its really weird.... fixed the streams there

06:03:071 - ~ 06:04:312 (427) - add finish ? ill keep it as it is

06:09:691 - add k following synth/guitar instrument (?? not sure what it is lol), i dont feel its necessary to put a note in this beat

06:22:933 - add k ^ same as above
06:25:002 - put d/k whatever here ^ same as above

06:26:243 - add k ^ same as above

06:28:312 - add d ^ same as above
nice song and nice map ty :D
forgive my bad english if i make you confuse its fine :D
everything seem fine i think and add sv to make it fun im not very good with sv's and their playability so ill wait and see
though ill probably sv increase the 1/6 stream before kiai for fun c:

06:30:795 - add greenline SV 1,2 or 1,5 if i do this, ill probably want to add sv to the main kiai time too. also im unsure about whether this short section here requires kiai

  1. SliderMultiplier:1.59999996185303 - Change to 1.4~1.6?? that's really weird. fixed (1.6)
  2. 00:16:105 (12,13) - Ctrl + G i want to use the rhythm of x_dk, normally k_dk but d_dk here because the sound is very quiet
  3. 00:20:864 (33,34,35) - Ctrl + G and 00:20:967 change to k yep
  4. 00:22:829 - Change to d for the same reason as above, i prefer the rhythm of x_dk

  16. 05:13:209 - Change to k sorta intended to follow the vocal/synth here (probably a bit weird), i dont think this is fitting
  17. 05:16:209 - ^ yep
  18. 05:30:588 - ^ yep
  19. 05:59:140 - ^ yep
  20. 06:44:347 - Add d following piano for rhythm like before, the broken f major chord starts on that white tick
  21. 06:57:795 - Add k^ same as above
  22. 07:10:312 (736,737,738,739) - Ctrl + G oooooh ok

Great map! ty :D
That's all! Good luck for this map's ranked~
Thanks a lot for the mods :D Will mod your maps by the end of the week.

EDIT: redid second piano part to better match the first one

That's a side effect of the AImod SV bug I believe, you'll have to manually fix it in notepad.

Hi there, you modded my map, so I'm modding yours. I am actually surprised that your map has made it so far, since I mapped Punk Nightmares and it turned out to be dreadfully unpopular. Might be me, but might also be the speed of the song. I digress.

[General]

I suggest that you turn the SV down to 1.40x. 1.60x generally makes a weird graphical impression, it simply looks like the circles had too much space inbewteen them and patterns therefore look sketchy.

|00:20:864 - This is where the following part starts becoming one with the highest density throughout the map, but is this well-structured? For me, there is a certain hierarchical order to be noticed especially for a song like this. The intro should really function like an introduction to the map, and therefore it should be arranged so that the intro defines the easier portion of the map, then gradually increasing the difficulty until the kiai. Now, this is hard to do with a song that features multiple possibilities of interpretation, especially with a part like this that features a multitude of noises to be potencially mapped, but I'd suggest you try to focus on what you have mapped before the marked timeline to ensure it doesn't become too dense yet. I would maintain this until 00:39:898 - , it's an unique section and deserves as much density as you chose to map it with. So if everything before that was lower in density, I would be completely consent.
|00:43:209 (183,184,185,186,187,188,189,190,191,192,193,194) - I would rather maintain the previous 'ooooo ooooo ooo'-structure, at least for every second 4/4 beat. Just for consistency's sake. Also, I would maintain this longer than 00:46:519 - , maybe even until 00:53:140 - , since it is indeed audible. That would make a better, more fluent transition.
|01:12:795 - Delete that one for consistency's sake?
|01:58:622 (647) - Normally, I wouldn't say anything, but right here I cannot here any sound to map a d and putting a d here also causes a fairly difficult pattern, more difficult than the others and easily breakable compared to those. Deleting it does the job.
|02:45:071 (959) - I'd shorten that by a tick because it might lead to point losses due to missed ticks or a miss at the D.
|03:14:864 (1130) - This one is wrongly snapped and its tail should actually be snapped on the previous white tick. Also applies to 03:18:174 (1134) -.
|05:05:760 - The stream fades out in a weird manner. I made an alternative (spinner was delayed but kept the same length) that I don't harshly recommend, but I guess it's worth thinking about the issue.

Have you considered increasing the SV for the second part of the 1st kiai?

Good luck and sorry for the delay!

So if everything before that was lower in density, I would be completely consent. Lowered the density, but still retained some of the patterns from the 00:26:657 mark since there's more sounds so I think it warrants the use of a few more notes than the first section.
Added d's to keep the rhythmic structure as suggested. With regards to extending it, at 00:46:519 with the addition of the sound that builds up to the mini-climax at 00:53:140 it's hard to pick out the "ooooo..." rhythm when playing at full speed, so I'll opt for the more prominent sound.
|01:12:795 - Delete that one for consistency's sake? Nice catch, deleted
|01:58:622 (647) - Normally, I wouldn't say anything, but right here I cannot here any sound to map a d and putting a d here also causes a fairly difficult pattern, more difficult than the others and easily breakable compared to those. Deleting it does the job. Done, I've also removed some of d's in this 1/6 section on that particular tick for consistency
|02:45:071 (959) - I'd shorten that by a tick because it might lead to point losses due to missed ticks or a miss at the D. Shortened, this occurs because you set SV to 1.4
|03:14:864 (1130) - This one is wrongly snapped and its tail should actually be snapped on the previous white tick. Also applies to 03:18:174 (1134) -. This occurs as a result of changing to SV 1.4, it's correctly snapped with SV 1.6, but fixed anyway.
|05:05:760 - The stream fades out in a weird manner. I made an alternative (spinner was delayed but kept the same length) that I don't harshly recommend, but I guess it's worth thinking about the issue. Was working with the beep/pulse thing that slowly gets faster, I changed the spinner tick to match your alternative and made the last note a k, left the rest as a monocolor d 1/6

Have you considered increasing the SV for the second part of the 1st kiai? I've tried messing around with SV and it looks terrible when I do it, I'll probably have to look at some maps with SV changes in the editor to figure out what I actually have to do :(

Good luck and sorry for the delay! Thanks :D and no worries at all, I was busy with uni anyway
Thanks a lot for the mod :D

hm.

00:42:174 (156,157,158,159,160) - I honestly don't like the transistion from kddkd to ddkdk. I'd stick to kddkd, it sounds hitsound-wise better.
00:56:036 (229,230,249,250) - The previous doubles (00:54:381 (219,220,239,240) - ) are pretty cool but on these ones I would rather see triplets, it makes it more interesting.
01:02:657 (272,273,274,275) - Just saying that you don't need to change this one, I like the double Doubles here.
01:19:002 (384,385,386,387) - You may want to move 01:19:209 (386) - to 01:19:416 - and changing as d since the "Double Sound" on 01:19:002 (384,385) - sounds more emphasizing without a note on 01:19:209 - . If you don't like to have two doubles just remove (386).
01:39:174 (508) - That plays really oddly. I see the intention but yet I don't really find it really contributing much into the map itself. I would remove it.
02:21:071 (791,792,793,794,795,796,797,798) - dunno how kddk/dkkd players will react since I heard they really dislike this kind of 1/6 usage. I don't mind them as ddkk player tho.
02:32:450 - 02:44:036 - You may want to add some sneaky SV increases to have more impact.
03:51:898 - 04:15:278 - dunno but I find you mapped this too dense, if you compare the music. If you ask me I'd remove the following notes:
03:52:519 (1219) -
03:55:209 (1231) -
03:56:243 (1236) -
03:57:071 (1240) -
03:58:519 (1246) -
03:58:519 (1246,1248) -
04:00:174 (1254) - (although you can move it to 04:00:381 - instead)
04:02:657 (1265) -
04:04:105 (1271) -
04:04:933 (1275) -
<and repeat that for the second half>
04:51:484 - 05:11:347 - Same case like 02:32:450 - 02:44:036, if you want I can add them for you if you need help for ideas, etc.
06:04:312 - 06:30:795 - I am honestly surprised about the low amount of notes here since the music is still quite strong here, imo I'd switch the dense you had in the last kiai with this section. Just a personal preference.
06:44:036 - end - Same cases like 03:51:898 - 04:15:278 -, I really wouldn't add too many notes here, because it's simply not necessary when the music is calmer (and the song almost done).

Overall, it's a okayish map. It just needs more impact on parts which makes the gameplay better and on parts where you need less notes to emphasize the important sounds in the song (speaking of the calmer parts of the song).

A little unsure about the change, not that I don't understand your point but it's just that I had the first one as kddkd due to that synth sound with a 3/4 gap, and then changed to following that other synth sound. It actually does sound pretty good though so I'll change it.
00:56:036 (229,230,249,250) - The previous doubles (00:54:381 (219,220,239,240) - ) are pretty cool but on these ones I would rather see triplets, it makes it more interesting. I like the rhythm of the doubles, also there isn't much of a sound on the third tick of the triplet, faint ticks but I'm going off the synth sound
There are so many sounds in this song ._.
01:02:657 (272,273,274,275) - Just saying that you don't need to change this one, I like the double Doubles here. woot
Ahh I see what you mean, changed
01:39:174 (508) - That plays really oddly. I see the intention but yet I don't really find it really contributing much into the map itself. I would remove it. Fair enough. I always thought that note was a little out of place anyway. Didn't really know what to do with the twisty sound.
02:21:071 (791,792,793,794,795,796,797,798) - dunno how kddk/dkkd players will react since I heard they really dislike this kind of 1/6 usage. I don't mind them as ddkk player tho. From the people I've gotten to testplay I've gotten mixed opinions so I'm just gonna leave it lol c:
02:32:450 - 02:44:036 - You may want to add some sneaky SV increases to have more impact. Adding them now, I finally worked out how to do them properly (I think)
03:51:898 - 04:15:278 - dunno but I find you mapped this too dense, if you compare the music. Yea I have mixed opinions about this part. I'm trying to follow the piano but I wasn't really sure what to leave or keep. I had a look at your suggestions and applied some (which I'll mark with an X) and left the others probably because I thought the piano sound was prominent enough.

If you ask me I'd remove the following notes:
03:52:519 (1219) - X
03:55:209 (1231) - Left because of the piano sound, removed 03:55:416 instead
03:56:243 (1236) - X
03:57:071 (1240) - Left because of the piano sound
03:58:519 (1246) - Left because of the piano sound
03:58:519 (1246,1248) - Removed 03:58:726
04:00:174 (1254) - (although you can move it to 04:00:381 - instead) Left because of the piano sound
04:02:657 (1265) - Left because of the piano sound
04:04:105 (1271) - Left because of the piano sound
04:04:933 (1275) - X, even though there is a sound.

<and repeat that for the second half>
04:51:484 - 05:11:347 - Same case like 02:32:450 - 02:44:036, if you want I can add them for you if you need help for ideas, etc. Might message sometime you to have a look at my SVs when I stop procrastinating and finish uni homework ._.

06:04:312 - 06:30:795 - I am honestly surprised about the low amount of notes here since the music is still quite strong here, imo I'd switch the dense you had in the last kiai with this section. Just a personal preference. I wasd thinking of giving the player a bit of a break after the first kiai but idk. I was suggested to make this section streamier and I tried mapping it that way but didn't really like what it turned out to be.
06:44:036 - end - Same cases like 03:51:898 - 04:15:278 -, I really wouldn't add too many notes here, because it's simply not necessary when the music is calmer (and the song almost done). Applied previous set of changes

Hey man.

Oni
This is a little nitpicky, but I think the difficulty should be Inner Oni - the 1/6 sections and longer streams are much harder than what I would expect to see in a regular Oni.

The finishers at 02:52:312 (976) and 02:58:933 (1017) and 03:05:553 (1061) and 03:12:174 (1104) seem a little weird to me, given that the audio for these beats is identical (at least to my ears) to 02:49:002 (957) and 02:55:622 (996) and 03:02:243 (1039) and 03:08:864 (1083) . I think it would be better to either replace them with normal dons, if you want to keep some diversity in the section, or normal kats if you're okay with these sections all being the same. 03:12:174 (1104) should definitely be a regular k, not a finisher, as it's the start of a softer section.

03:39:278 (1176,1177) , 03:40:933 (1181,1182) , 03:45:898 (1196,1197) - k d -> d k I think these match the song a little better as d k rather than k d

05:10:726 - The drastic change in SV between here and 05:11:140 is just a little too much. Consider changing SV from 1.5x to 1.4x

06:45:898 (646) and 06:59:139 (701) - These notes feel really awkward to me here. Consider moving them forward 1/2 a beat to join the front of the next set.

I didn't end up finding much that I thought could be improved. If you want me to have another look over it to catch anything I may have missed this time, let me know. Either way, this is a pretty good map, hoping to see it get ranked soon :)

but yeah i was considering something cooler than just oni or taiko, didn't come up with anything good tho. i guess i could change it to inner oni

03:39:278 (1176,1177) , 03:40:933 (1181,1182) , 03:45:898 (1196,1197) - k d -> d k I think these match the song a little better as d k rather than k d the intention was for the k's to land on the vocal sounds and d's on the drum beats

05:10:726 - The drastic change in SV between here and 05:11:140 is just a little too much. Consider changing SV from 1.5x to 1.4x changed, it seemed ok to me but only cos i'm the convert scrub :(

06:45:898 (646) and 06:59:139 (701) - These notes feel really awkward to me here. Consider moving them forward 1/2 a beat to join the front of the next set. fixed all the occurrences of this, the intention was to follow piano but it is rather faint and those were pretty awkward

I didn't end up finding much that I thought could be improved. If you want me to have another look over it to catch anything I may have missed this time, let me know. Either way, this is a pretty good map, hoping to see it get ranked soon :) Thanks :D

I'm quite late, but it's better than nothing I guess.

- 00:37:829 - I would put here a K. It would fit more into music.
- 01:07:519 (302) - K -> D
- 01:39:071 - Same as 00:37:829 - to keep the player in the rhythm.
- 01:57:278 - Add a D here and 01:57:484 (620) - replace with K.
- 02:32:243 (865) - D -> K
- 03:39:278 (1176,1177) - Ctrl+G
- 03:42:588 (1186,1187) - ^
- 04:44:864 (1490) - K -> D
- 04:44:864 (1490) - Add a D here.
- 06:22:933 - ^

Otherwise looks neat enough. Good luck.

- 00:37:829 - I would put here a K. It would fit more into music. the second beep is a bit muted, idk if k or d would be used there actually i quite like the sound of ddkk there, added
- 01:07:519 (302) - K -> D leaving it as k due to the sound of those 4 middle notes being more emphatic than the other 4 notes in the pattern
- 01:39:071 - Same as 00:37:829 - to keep the player in the rhythm. added actually idk, upon going over it again i don't feel this particular note has any real impact in the song
- 01:57:278 - Add a D here and 01:57:484 (620) - replace with K. simply removed 01:57:484 (620), that was an error in consistency. i understand what you meant by adding the d but i left that for the next section seeing as theres more happening in the music anyway and i wanted a bit more of a buildup through the different 1/6 sections
- 02:32:243 (865) - D -> K the sound is so similar to the previous guitar sound and somewhat muted anyway, i think its fine as it is
- 03:39:278 (1176,1177) - Ctrl+G k's here are used on those vocal mouth sounds as per aloda's mod, if it wasnt for that i'd agree
- 03:42:588 (1186,1187) - ^ ^
- 04:44:864 (1490) - K -> D i like to use to k to start these beep sections before the chorus
- 04:44:864 (1490) - Add a D here. copied the wrong timestamp probably, given your next point i'll assume it was 06:09:691
- 06:22:933 - ^ added. original intention was guitar only but i've always not really liked the 3/2 gaps

Otherwise looks neat enough. Good luck. ty

Hello there~

Time for another M4M for you. :D

Keep in mind, these are my suggestions, don't change something I mentioned unless it seems good to you! :)

Inner Oni
01:19:105 (386) - Change to k. I think it sounds better, and is more comfortable to play before 01:19:312 (387,388) -
01:25:416 (428) - Change to k. Same sound as 01:25:002 (424) -
01:31:002 (464) - ^
02:05:760 (679) - Change to k. Having d sounds weird to me.
03:20:864 - Add a d. Follows the same rhythm as 03:20:347 (1114,1115) -
03:22:519 - ^
03:22:933 - and 03:23:140 - Sound better with d's, but sound alright without if you don't want to continue the rhythm there.
04:51:174 (1531) - Move to 04:51:071 - Sounds off where it currently is.
06:04:312 (427) - Change to D. The note here feels like it should be emphasized because it's the start of a different section.
06:26:450 (515) - Change to k. The sound in the background are going up, so they shouldn't all be the same sound.
06:29:140 (526,527,528) - Change to K K D instead of k k d. These notes should be more powerful since they lead into the kiai.

01:25:416 (428) - Change to k. Same sound as 01:25:002 (424) - Ctrl+g'd 01:23:243 (413,414) instead since the intention was to have the k's land on the percussion sounds in this second bit where the beeps are more muted, rather than the k's falling on the beeps like the part just before
01:31:002 (464) - ^ denied for above reason
02:05:760 (679) - Change to k. Having d sounds weird to me. denied for consistency with previous section, also that the vocal sound is lowering in pitch anyway
03:20:864 - Add a d. Follows the same rhythm as 03:20:347 (1114,1115) - i understand your idea, but im a little unsure about mapping that sound for now, i'll see if its brought up again. also technically the sound occurs at 03:20:967 not 03:20:864
03:22:519 - ^ as per above
03:22:933 - and 03:23:140 - Sound better with d's, but sound alright without if you don't want to continue the rhythm there. yea, dont want to map it here
04:51:174 (1531) - Move to 04:51:071 - Sounds off where it currently is. true, the vocals are a bit murky around there. thanks for bringing it up, ill wait for another opinion on that part, its often the timing of the notes in these little transition sections i have trouble with
06:04:312 (427) - Change to D. The note here feels like it should be emphasized because it's the start of a different section. nice catch thanks. no clue why it wasnt a finisher ._.
06:26:450 (515) - Change to k. The sound in the background are going up, so they shouldn't all be the same sound. the melody (idk what to call it lol) at 06:25:209 (510,511,512,513) is the same as this so keeping it consistent
06:29:140 (526,527,528) - Change to K K D instead of k k d. These notes should be more powerful since they lead into the kiai. done, added the corresponding finishers from like 06:15:898 as well for consistency (although slightly varied pattern)
Thanks a lot for the mod :D

I like the map description.

  1. Everything seems goooooood.

Inner Oni

  1. 00:46:002 (187) - Move to 00:46:209, which has an audible sound.
  2. 02:35:760 (888) - change to d for consistency (as seen 02:29:140 (844))
  3. 02:47:347 (947) - change to d for consistency (as seen 02:53:967 (986)). k is intrusive.
  4. 02:59:967 (1023,1068,1090) - Why are all these notes d? You seemed to put k when it comes to every verse (which sounds better).
  5. 04:59:657 (1584) - change to d. kkk sounds a bit strong.
  6. 05:01:105 (1598,1600) - ctrl+g. Seems to follow the music better.
  7. 05:02:967 (1616) - change to d. Same reason.
  8. Ehhhhhh. I really can't figure out your usage on 1/1 spacings during the kiai. They seem to be a bit random and weakens the flow. Personal kiai suggestions below (meaning they are optional, but experiment them)
  9. 05:18:071 (64) - Move to 05:18:278. Here, the pattern starts on a red tick, which is consistent as previous patterns. Plus, the spacing emphasizes the vocal (05:17:967).
  10. 05:18:898 (71) - Move to 05:19:105 and change it to k. Same reason.
  11. 05:21:174 (90) - Deleting this note seems to flow better.
  12. 05:26:347 (126) - Move to 05:25:933.
  13. 05:31:312 (170) - Move to 05:30:898.
  14. 05:35:347 (205) - Move to 05:34:829. Better to have the don/kat alternating pattern without any pauses.
  15. Some similar suggestions apply for the second kiai.
  16. You used triplets in the start of the third kiai. But at some point, it suddenly becomes a stream. The abrupt change on the note density gives a bad transition to the music as well as to the players. I highly recommend to gradually increase the note density as the kiai goes along.

Kiai parts are questionable. Other than that, a satisfactory map.

  1. 00:46:002 (187) - Move to 00:46:209, which has an audible sound. fixed
  2. 02:35:760 (888) - change to d for consistency (as seen 02:29:140 (844)) 02:29:140 was supposed to be k, changed that instead
  3. 02:47:347 (947) - change to d for consistency (as seen 02:53:967 (986)). k is intrusive. fixed
  4. 02:59:967 (1023,1068,1090) - Why are all these notes d? You seemed to put k when it comes to every verse (which sounds better). good catch, fixed
  5. 04:59:657 (1584) - change to d. kkk sounds a bit strong. changed
  6. 05:01:105 (1598,1600) - ctrl+g. Seems to follow the music better. changed 1599 to d, lower pitched beep anyway, which was what i was following
  7. 05:02:967 (1616) - change to d. Same reason. changed
  8. Ehhhhhh. I really can't figure out your usage on 1/1 spacings during the kiai dont worry neither can i lol. They seem to be a bit random and weakens the flow. yeah some points were definitely inconsistent Personal kiai suggestions below (meaning they are optional, but experiment them)
  9. 05:18:071 (64) - Move to 05:18:278. Here, the pattern starts on a red tick, which is consistent as previous patterns. Plus, the spacing emphasizes the vocal (05:17:967). done
  10. 05:18:898 (71) - Move to 05:19:105 and change it to k. Same reason. moved but no change, well the next note at 05:19:209 seems like a better fit for a k anyway
  11. 05:21:174 (90) - Deleting this note seems to flow better. moved it back two ticks to join the d with the previous pattern, changed to k so the pattern is kkddkkd
  12. 05:26:347 (126) - Move to 05:25:933. did that and changed the k in that first pattern to match the vocal better
  13. 05:31:312 (170) - Move to 05:30:898. ok
  14. 05:35:347 (205) - Move to 05:34:829. Better to have the don/kat alternating pattern without any pauses. moved blue tick note rather than this one on the white tick since that's awkward
  15. Some similar suggestions apply for the second kiai. went through and made changes, thank you for the suggestions
  16. You used triplets in the start of the third kiai. But at some point, it suddenly becomes a stream. The abrupt change on the note density gives a bad transition to the music as well as to the players. I highly recommend to gradually increase the note density as the kiai goes along. leaving first long stream because of the shift by 1/4 tick in the music which i wanna emphasise

Kiai parts are questionable. do you mean how i chose to map where or where i chose to add kiai? i know the bit of kiai near the end is a bit iffy, i can move it Other than that, a satisfactory map.

You should make note that your volumes are all messed up. Any time it breaks down to piano and vocals such as here 03:51:898 - , you might want to lower the volume of the notes with a green line to about 60% or so. I also felt like your map could use more SV changes, such a slow-downs, rather than speed ups.
It's an alright map, but still needs a lot more work.

[Oni]
01:05:553 - Well, honestly this is a spinner sound if I have ever heard one. Spinner till about 01:06:174 -
02:39:484 - I think Lepi did this in the 2 minute original but what about like ddk d k ddk d k ddk kind of pattern until the long one?
03:11:864 - kkk? I think that would be cool since it's ending the pattern and going into the slow part.
03:25:416 - I think you messed up this whole section by making it too simplistic. Im going to simply just post k or d because explaining myself would be tedious. Just basically I want to improve this slow section.
03:27:071 - k
03:28:726 (852,857) - d
03:31:829 (862,863) - d k
03:33:691 (868) - k
03:35:553 (1165,1166,1167,1168,1169,1170,1171,1172,1173) - d k d k d d k d k (just what the notes need to be in order, not using spacing here.)
03:55:002 (1228) - This should be kat because with just don's it sounds hollow, however, 03:55:622 (1230,1231) - these two sound too loud and should be don, because the piano goes up on the third note.
05:04:726 - eww, no way. Just start the spinner, there is no logical way to map this unless you wanna make a pp map like (kkkd)dkdkd(kkkd) then some other nonsense. I dunno man. Just put a spinner lol
05:22:829 - Delete then make these 05:22:933 (106,107,108,109) - finishers or something. This one is just a do it if you like it kind of suggestion.
05:36:588 - 05:37:002 - where are the notes :x I think you lost them, go find them and make sure they are kats.
05:49:419 - Make sure to change this part if you do like 5:22 as well.
06:09:691 - kddkk? I think how you have it doesn't sound right with the background, honestly.
06:35:760 - I really don't like this stream, I don't like how the kkddkkddkk starts on a blue tick rather than red tick. It's awkward.

02:39:484 - I think Lepi did this in the 2 minute original damnnn that map is like ancient history now still fun tho but what about like ddk d k ddk d k ddk kind of pattern until the long one? given where i've decided to use finishers, made it d k ddk... and then changed the ddkdddkdd into D kdddkdd
03:11:864 - kkk? I think that would be cool since it's ending the pattern and going into the slow part. okiedokie

Just basically I want to improve this slow section. yeah i understand what you mean, the stuff is a bit monotonous seeing as i was going off guitar pitch welp

03:31:829 (862,863) - d k
03:33:691 (868) - k
changes done im gonna assume 03:30:381 wasnt changed to d due to the vocals so imma leave it as it is
03:35:553 (1165,1166,1167,1168,1169,1170,1171,1172,1173) - d k d k d d k d k (just what the notes need to be in order, not using spacing here.) i get ya allg
03:55:002 (1228) - This should be kat because with just don's it sounds hollow, however, 03:55:622 (1230,1231) - these two sound too loud and should be don, because the piano goes up on the third note. changed. the k i agree with, the kkk bit was because originally this was one long ass unbroken 1/2 bit and kkk fit better there but yeah as 3 notes on its own ddk is better. also changed the others throughout the song
05:04:726 - eww, no way. Just start the spinner, there is no logical way to map this unless you wanna make a pp map like (kkkd)dkdkd(kkkd) then some other nonsense. I dunno man. Just put a spinner lol ahhsdfhjgfsgfhj ill leave it for now yolo rip can't map 290 bpm streams
05:22:829 - Delete then make these 05:22:933 (106,107,108,109) - finishers or something. This one is just a do it if you like it kind of suggestion. i've considered it already but i like it how it is, i mean i could add finishers right now but i dislike having finishers at the end of 1/4 it just feels weird but yeah ill keep it in mind thx
05:36:588 - 05:37:002 - where are the notes :x I think you lost them, go find them and make sure they are kats. im so indecisive like one suggestion from one guy says one thing another says another and i keep changing gdi ok ill stick to how i originally did it and add these in
05:49:419 - Make sure to change this part if you do like 5:22 as well. as per above
06:09:691 - kddkk? I think how you have it doesn't sound right with the background, honestly. i think it matches well enough with the pitch of(insert whatever that instrument is here) ok upon relistening i changed the middle 3 notes to ddk as that matches with the sounds from the 4-note pattern right before so now its dddkk, i see what you mean now but i dont think ill change the first note to k thx for pointing it out
06:35:760 - I really don't like this stream, I don't like how the kkddkkddkk starts on a blue tick rather than red tick. It's awkward. i know it is but i wanted to emphasise the how the music shifts by a 1/4 tick. to make it less ew i removed 06:36:278 so its now kkddk (nice bit) then dkkddkkddkkkd (ew). changed the end of the pattern to kkkd too rather than kkdd as that is more consistent with the following section

Hi~

wtf this song has 2 map ranked i hope this it is the last time for the song ranked

00:14:657 - add d,keep consistency with 00:17:553 -
01:05:553 (1) - i dont think you need to put a spinner here,a ranked map usually dont put spinner in the middle of a lot of notes.
01:07:933 - put a d here for variety?
01:11:243 - ^
01:08:864 - add d,follow the drum
01:16:933 (75,76,77,78,79,80,81,82,83,84,85) - dddkdkdkddk will sound better
01:19:416 (95) - delete, give a rest here and follow the atmosphere of suddenly stop
01:19:416 (95) - change to d,the sound same as previous 1/6,if you accept this change all dddk to dddd :p
02:34:105 - change to d,the sound effect is low

02:45:071 (1) - delete the spinner and change to k k k d.The spinner doesnt suit that part
03:12:381 (169) - 我不知道怎麼用英文表達orz 這個音符我覺得是多餘的 那個drum part 在 03:12:174 (168) - 完結 所以不必在那裡加音符

Hello.

[General]

Use HP:5 due to the amount of the notes.

[Inner Oni]

  1. 00:30:484 - You may add a note here due to the trill sound on the background.
  2. 00:36:278 - A don would work well here, it'll also help keep the structure solid.
  3. 00:46:933 - Even though those finishers like that are on higher sounds, I don't think it's neccessary. Simple kat will emphasize them enough.
  4. 01:12:795 (49) - You can move this one to 01:12:898 - here, it will create a better flow.
  5. 01:15:278 (68,69,70) - I don't approve the sudden density change. Adding a kat on 01:15:381 - this spot will emphasize the background sound and help you to keep the structure good.
  6. 01:26:657 (142,143,144,145,146) - How about kkdkd here? kddkd and dkddk variations will help you to emphasize the "duut duut duut" sound (idk what that is) on 01:26:657 (142,145) - those two and, in relation, 01:28:002 (153) - 01:28:622 (158) - those kinds of notes can be turned into kats as well. I won't point them all out, I think you can figure them out by yourself.
  7. 01:36:174 - From here to 01:37:829 - here you need one more triplet between those notes, due to keep the structure.
  8. 01:47:347 - 01:50:657 - 01:53:967 - I think spots like these are important to put a note. The kick sound is very prominent and leaving these as blank spots feel weird and empty. I think you should add dons on those spots and related ones. If you do, the structure will also match with 02:00:588 - these ones as well.
  9. 03:12:381 - Deleting this note will help you to emphasize the finisher sound that you put on 03:12:174 (168) - that spot. There is also not a specific sound on that in order to put a note there.
  10. 03:35:967 (230,232,235,237) - You also didn't follow the vocals on the beginning on this section, so I recommend turning these to dons.
  11. 04:01:726 (320) - If this note emphasizes anything, you can keep that, but I can't hear something different on it, hence I recommend to delete this note.
  12. 04:14:967 (375) - ^
  13. 04:31:622 - I think you can start 5-plets from this spot and leaving 04:18:381 - 04:31:622 - these two spots with maximum 3-plets. What I mean is, 04:23:243 (414) - 04:24:898 (425) - notes like these feel excessive to me, and since the drum enters on 04:31:622 - this spot I think you can reduce the 5-plets to 3-plets.
  14. 05:04:933 (1) - You can extend the spinner to 05:09:484 - here since 05:08:450 (2,3,4) - those three notes really don't emphasize anything.
  15. 05:35:347 (198,200) - Swap these maybe? Changing 05:35:553 (200) - this to kat will help emphasizing the higher-pitch keyboard sound on the background, since you're following the keyboards there.
  16. 06:25:312 - Add a note here to keep it consistent with 06:22:002 - 06:18:691 - these spots.
  17. 06:53:864 (669) - Same triplets issue that mentioned before.
  18. 07:07:105 (724) - ^
  19. 07:10:312 (735,736,737,738) - I didn't like this pattern at the very calm end. Changing it to a spinner or slider would be better.
You may call me back after you apply this mod.

Combo numbers might be off in my reply since I added notes but the timestamps should be correct.

  4. 01:12:795 (49) - You can move this one to 01:12:898 - here, it will create a better flow. In this section and the preceding one my intent was to keep the start of each bar somewhat consistent. Starting from the previous section each bar just had single notes at the start, only the last 2 bars had a d to lead in to the first note of the next bar (as a transition of sorts) where as in this section I changed every second bar to use the d to lead in. 1st section: k k k k k k dk dk, 2nd section: k dk k dk k dk dk dk
  5. 01:15:278 (68,69,70) - I don't approve the sudden density change. Adding a kat on 01:15:381 - this spot will emphasize the background sound and help you to keep the structure good. Ok
  6. 01:26:657 (142,143,144,145,146) - How about kkdkd here? kddkd and dkddk variations will help you to emphasize the "duut duut duut" sound (idk what that is) on 01:26:657 (142,145) - those two and, in relation, 01:28:002 (153) - 01:28:622 (158) - those kinds of notes can be turned into kats as well. I won't point them all out, I think you can figure them out by yourself. Changed the first pattern from kkkdk to kkddk as the beep occurs on the 5th note of the 5-plet, rather than on the 4th as implied by the use of kkdkd (there is 3/4 between each beep except at the start where they happen on two consecutive 1/4 ticks, hence the usage of kkddk over dkddk). With this in mind I changed 01:28:002 (154) - and 01:28:622 (159) - (in the process I changed the pattern from dkdkdd to dkddkd as per the 3/4 spacing between beeps), as well as 01:29:243 (163) -. I left the next few bars since the sounds are more muted and thus I have a bit more usage of d's (like from 01:22:933 - in the first half of this bookmarked section which repeats in the latter half here)
  7. 01:36:174 - From here to 01:37:829 - here you need one more triplet between those notes, due to keep the structure. Yep, added a note at 01:36:484 to make a ddk
  8. 01:47:347 - 01:50:657 - 01:53:967 - I think spots like these are important to put a note. The kick sound is very prominent and leaving these as blank spots feel weird and empty. I think you should add dons on those spots and related ones. If you do, the structure will also match with 02:00:588 - these ones as well. Ok
  9. 03:12:381 - Deleting this note will help you to emphasize the finisher sound that you put on 03:12:174 (168) - that spot. There is also not a specific sound on that in order to put a note there. My intention was to follow the pairs of sounds occurring on 1/2 beats starting from 02:49:002 - etc. for consistency as per my reply in Consified's mod. I considered it a pair of sounds due to a noticeable change in pitch, but I understand it could also just be a single sound starting on the first beat which happens to extend over the span of a 1/2 beat. Since it's not the only time this point has been brought up I'll delete the note.
  10. 03:35:967 (230,232,235,237) - You also didn't follow the vocals on the beginning on this section, so I recommend turning these to dons. Ok
  11. 04:01:726 (320) - If this note emphasizes anything, you can keep that, but I can't hear something different on it, hence I recommend to delete this note.
  12. 04:14:967 (375) - ^ Deleted both, I must've thought it fit the piano sound but that was well over a year ago lol
  13. 04:31:622 - I think you can start 5-plets from this spot and leaving 04:18:381 - 04:31:622 - these two spots with maximum 3-plets. What I mean is, 04:23:243 (414) - 04:24:898 (425) - notes like these feel excessive to me, and since the drum enters on 04:31:622 - this spot I think you can reduce the 5-plets to 3-plets. Ok I understand
  14. 05:04:933 (1) - You can extend the spinner to 05:09:484 - here since 05:08:450 (2,3,4) - those three notes really don't emphasize anything. Ok, I also toned down the SV of the following notes from 2.5x to 2x as there is no gradual SV buildup anymore.
  15. 05:35:347 (198,200) - Swap these maybe? Changing 05:35:553 (200) - this to kat will help emphasizing the higher-pitch keyboard sound on the background, since you're following the keyboards there. Yep, this was a mistake on my part. I was going for some consistency in the usage of kat rhythms between sections but I got the beats wrong here.
  16. 06:25:312 - Add a note here to keep it consistent with 06:22:002 - 06:18:691 - these spots. Ok
  17. 06:53:864 (669) - Same triplets issue that mentioned before.
  18. 07:07:105 (724) - ^ Fixed both
  19. 07:10:312 (735,736,737,738) - I didn't like this pattern at the very calm end. Changing it to a spinner or slider would be better.Used a spinner.
Just noting extra changes I did which didn't fall under the suggestions above, mostly for consistency:
Deleted 00:35:347 (115) - and moved 00:39:174 (137) - to 00:39:278 - to match the k_dk usage better
Changed 01:06:381 (1) - and 01:19:622 (99) - to kat finishers to match the kat hitsound for the sounds at the start of bars
Changed 01:52:312 (300) - 01:52:726 (302) - 02:05:967 (395) - and 02:19:209 (491) - to finishers to match the cymbal crash (??) sounds
Deleted 01:54:174 - after adding dons on the kick sounds since this note wasn't supposed to be there in this section
Added 04:26:450 (431) - for consistency with other triplets

You may call me back after you apply this mod.
Thanks a lot for the mod :D

Small fixes on IRC with Invective (2017/10/08 13:52)
13:20 frukoyurdakul: Hello
13:20 Invective: hi
13:20 frukoyurdakul: I'm checking your map right now. Are you available?
13:20 Invective: yep
13:21 frukoyurdakul: okay, first of all, I hear a 1/6 triplet on 02:32:140 - this spot
13:21 frukoyurdakul: You may keep it but changing it to ddd would be better.
13:22 Invective: i think the sound starts more on the 1/4 tick, doesn't it?
13:23 Invective: it's hard to judge with these twisty sort of sounds
13:23 frukoyurdakul: hmm let me to take a closer look
13:23 Invective: sounds closer to 1/8 i think but i'm averse to using that
13:23 frukoyurdakul: no it's 1/6
13:24 frukoyurdakul: but, it starts on blue
13:24 frukoyurdakul: 1/12 snap would work there
13:24 frukoyurdakul: as in, 02:32:140 - 02:32:209 - 02:32:278 -
13:24 Invective: oh i see
13:24 frukoyurdakul: but like I said it's up to you
13:25 Invective: hmm
13:25 Invective: i think its a bit awkward before the finisher
13:26 frukoyurdakul: your choice in the end
13:26 frukoyurdakul: something caught me in the eye though, something more important
13:26 Invective: ok
13:26 frukoyurdakul: 02:28:519 - I can see you are following guitar there
13:26 frukoyurdakul: 02:34:933 - Those sounds are the same as well
13:27 frukoyurdakul: but one of them mapped as kats and one of them mapped as dons
13:27 Invective: i see
13:27 frukoyurdakul: if there is not a special case, make them similiar
13:27 frukoyurdakul: I recommend changing the first one to don
13:27 Invective: yeah i think ill do that
13:28 Invective: 02:28:519 (556,557,558) -
13:28 Invective: to don
13:28 frukoyurdakul: yeah, nice
13:29 frukoyurdakul: 03:00:898 (93) - delete this note, on that section you used 5-plets maximum
13:29 frukoyurdakul: 7-plet breaks the structure
13:29 Invective: i see
13:30 Invective: i think i was trying to gradually increase density or smth originally
13:30 Invective: deleted tho
13:30 frukoyurdakul: good
13:32 frukoyurdakul: well
13:32 frukoyurdakul: 05:37:829 (205) - this note is overlapping too much
13:33 frukoyurdakul: if you want to keep the SV change
13:33 frukoyurdakul: 05:38:036 (206,207) - delete these two
13:33 Invective: ok, i'll delete the notes
13:33 Invective: keep the sv
13:34 frukoyurdakul: also move the 2nd kiai point (1.10x SV) to 05:38:243 - here
13:34 frukoyurdakul: putting kiai points 1ms distant is not good :3
13:35 Invective: o whoops
13:35 frukoyurdakul: 06:16:519 (458,460) - how about deleting those two?
13:36 frukoyurdakul: it's not consistent with the other parts like 05:36:174 - 05:22:933 -
13:36 Invective: yeah i think i'll do that to be consistent with how i did it later
13:36 frukoyurdakul: good
13:37 Invective: i think i was following the guitar sound at first but forgot later on
13:38 frukoyurdakul: okay you can update, check aimod and stuff though before you do
13:38 Invective: alright, ill just be a min or so
13:38 frukoyurdakul: let me know
13:41 Invective: ok, i just updated it
13:42 frukoyurdakul: okay, i'll just go overall throughout the map one more time
13:42 Invective: yep thats cool
13:44 frukoyurdakul: 02:12:795 (443,444,445,446) - kddk here
13:44 frukoyurdakul: there is no other usage of kkkk which breaks the consistency
13:45 Invective: oh right
13:45 Invective: fixed
13:45 frukoyurdakul: and, remove the bookmarks btw
13:45 frukoyurdakul: for some unknown reason it's unrankable....
13:46 Invective: oh lol didnt know that
13:46 Invective: done
13:47 Invective: tfw did it manually but i just noticed theres a button to remove all bookmarks
13:48 frukoyurdakul: np np
13:48 frukoyurdakul: and where? i looked for it but couldn't find it lol
13:48 Invective: at the bottom
13:48 Invective: it says reset
13:48 Invective: i never noticed before LOL
13:49 Invective: even though its the biggest button on the timeline
13:49 frukoyurdakul: oh that works for it then
13:50 Invective: yep
13:50 frukoyurdakul: okay you can update
13:51 Invective: ok, updated
13:52 frukoyurdakul: looks nice
