okay so I want to make a forum sig using bbcode but I'm hopelessly lost so can anyone shed some light on me and help me out?

Well, what are you looking for?
Signatures have about the same capabilities as forum posts, so if you make a post with what you want (using preview, not submit), and copy its contents to a signature, you should get the sig you want.

but I've never made a sig before so its all really confusing for me and I'm not very skilled when it comes to tech stuff or anything forum related
