Hello! From my queue
General- Not everyone understands this, but the bpm should be halved. It is correct that the time signature is 3/4. however, the 3 "beats" of that signature are like this. You can kinda hear it in the song (more in the kiai and after, the start of the song might trick you), but you can also feel it.
Halving the bpm would make a lot more sense, because the 3 "beats" you can feel will be the beats of the metronome in the editor. I recommend you to change this, don't forget to double the slider velocity to 3.2 - Nice song
Insane- Clean map, fun to play, well done.
- Maybe a custom diff name if you can think of one
00:19:002 (2,4,6) - I don't really hear a reason to use finishes here
00:23:810 (2,3) - It would be more logical for a smaller distance between 00:23:233 (1,2) - , and a larger distance here, which will follow the same spacing of the previous measures
00:25:348 (6) - Drum finish doesn't really fit here. I'm not sure if you're trying to add your own elements to the song regarding hitsounds
00:39:387 (4,5) - This jump is quite large. I suggest rotating 00:39:771 (5,6) - a little clockwise and moving it closer to 00:39:387 (4) -
00:42:079 (5) - I suggest moving this next to the slider-end (on the right side), because the stack kinda forces spacing to be small here, which doesn't really follow your increased spacing for the piano note structure. You will still be able to emphasize the note on 00:42:271 (6) -
01:01:694 (6,7) - Just a suggestion: 01:01:694 (6,7) - Ctrl+g, and move 01:01:887 (7) - (or (9) if you want to reverse the pattern) beneath 01:01:310 (4) - . This will you will emphasize the sound in the song you used the finish for, instead of a jump which isn't really mapped to anything as strong
01:06:694 (8,9,1) - The pattern is really building up here, which is nice. However, currently the jump between 01:06:694 (8,9) - is bigger than between 01:06:887 (9,1) - , which is kinda weird considering it's the start of a new part in the song. A shape like
this will work out perfectly in this scenario
01:07:464 (2) - this is the only thing that really bothered me. Why not ctrl+G this slider? It will play sooo much better D:
01:17:464 (3) - Remove the whistle from the sliderbody
01:17:848 (4,5,1) - Either consistent spacing or move (5) closer to (4) so (1) will be emphasized
01:29:002 (1,2) - Why a different pattern here from all the surrounding ones? This beat doesn't have anything special
toybot's Hard00:56:310 (3,4,1) - Consistent spacing or a larger distance between 00:56:694 (4,1) - would make more sense here
00:49:771 (1) - and 00:59:002 (1) - maybe circles would work out better here, because of the stronger beat (which the finish on the slider-end indicates). You did a similar thing here 01:03:617 (1,2,3,4) -
01:24:579 (1,2,1,2,1,2) - With this patter, you will emphasize the wrong circles (or at least the way you intended, looking at the combo colors). I tried to make it clear
http://puu.sh/iXQJT/953d8911b4.jpg. Red circle=the way your pattern currently emphasizes the circle. Blue circle= The circles that actually should be emphasized. You could easily shift the NCs, but I recommend a change of pattern, maybe a similar one, that will fit better, like
this.
01:34:194 (1) - I see the spinner is ending earlier in you diff (it's not really clear where the violin starts fading away) but I recommend moving the inherited point with the lower volume so your spinner-end will be soft as well. (I think that was the intention of the inherited point you added, but you forgot to change the volume
Normal00:27:848 (1,1) - I'm sure this is going to cause you a DQ. The time between the spinner and the slider is quite small, and the slider is also already visible for a long time while the spinner is busy (unless the spinner overlaps that, but then the player will have a very short time to react). I recommend mapping some sliders/circles like you did in the insane diff
01:04:387 (3) - Because of the chord change and the downbeat, this slider does not really fit . Why not make a pair of 3 circles, followed by the slider on the downbeat?
01:07:079 (1,2,3,1,2) - The music pairs the notes per 2 in this section so the sliders are in the wrong spot. I recommend you to use a rhythm like
this instead. It's kinda hard to explain sometimes, but I hope you can hear what I mean. Btw you did it perfectly here 01:11:694 (1,2,1,2) -
01:17:464 (1) - Circle + 1/1 slider? That way you can emphasize the sound in the song you used the finish for. (and kinda the same reason as 01:07:079 (1,2,3,1,2) - )
01:22:079 (1,2) - And same situation here. A rhythm like This would fit a lot better
Good luck with the mapset!
