01:25:810 (1,1,1,1) - I don't think you should have this many perfectly straight sliders. It's always more fun to give them style, or at least curve them a little.

01:36:536 (5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,1,2) - The sound used here is used way too excessively. It makes hearing that sound anywhere else in the map from this point plain obnoxious. Try having the sound play ever two or four beats instead of every single one.




Hard

General note: Too many straight sliders and linear patterns! It's good to use patterns because they're aesthetically pleasing, but using the same pattern through almost the entire song is a no-no. It makes the song, well, boring. And you're able to use Bezier curves to make interesting sliders - so make use of the feature! Playing this map felt like playing a map that would have been OK about 4-5 years ago.

General note: It's called "Hard" for a reason. This is when you can start using jumps without feeling bad for being mean to newbies. The patterns as they are now are like, 1.5* with a higher AR and smaller CS than an actual 1.5* map.

01:35:530 (8) - I strongly dislike sliders like these. They're not interesting and it's very easy for them to throw you off.

01:14:581 (1) - Same deal as that. ^

  1. 00:25:139 (5,1) – Change this please, it’s really hard to predict with this overlap.
  2. 00:32:513 (2,3) – Blanket. And this isn’t the only one. Recheck your whole map for blankets because I’ve found a lot of bad ones.
  3. 00:34:525 (1,2,3) – Make these all the same slider using copy-paste and transformative tools. (ctrl+g/h/j)
  4. 00:55:474 (9,1) – Stack opportunity. If you’re gonna place things in the same place, at least have them stack properly. This isn’t the only time I’ve seen it. So recheck the rest of the map to fix these instances.
  5. I think I’ll stop here. I’ll only be pointing out things that are really obvious. If you’re not sure how to go about mapping just look at ranked maps and try to see what constitutes a good map. Look at your favorite maps and try to take bits of their style and create your own sort of style that’s both playable and aesthetically pleasing (the former of which is questionable and the latter of which rarely exists.)

Thank you for your mod! I was mostly just looking for opinions from the mods. I do not know many people who are good enough to play the maps, not to mention being experienced enough to give an educated opinion.

01:05:363 (4) - Make this slider a double reverse (add a reverse)
01:16:089 (4) - Make this the same as 01:05:363 (4) (a double reverse)

Hard
00:28:826 (8,1) - Try greater spacing between these two hit circles or at least, not on top of each other
00:37:877 (4,5,6) - Why greater spacing between slider 5 and 6, why not 4 the same spacing as slider 4 & 5
00:50:949 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12) - It's always nice to make sure that combo numbers don't go above 10 (since the extra digit can be more distracting than single digits, as they take up more space). So to fix that, make 3 separate combos for the the pattern you're using (hit circle, hit circle, slider) for 1,2,3,4 and 5,6,7,8 and 9,10,11,12
02:23:463 (7,8) - The 8th hit circle is timed correctly with the music, but it should NOT be placed directly ontop of the end of the 7th slider but slightly next to it (to show that it exists (especially for HD users)

01:57:653 (1,2) - Woah, these sliders become super fast without any warning (since the song doesn't leave much to prompt the sudden fast sliders, I would at least recommend a storyboard warning (e.g. 2x speed ahead) or just gradually speed up sliders

Overall I really like your lunatic Dream and Hard (great cogency in general)
