Updating graphics card?

So ive been using an NVidia GeForce gtx 260 for some time now, and Im wondering if changing my graphics card to a gtx 970 will make a difference?
Osu isn't really a demanding game from what ive seen so I don't know if I will notice much a difference if I update my graphics card specifically for this game.
will I notice anything major if I make this change specifically for osu?

I would say that getting a new graphics card for just this game is not a good idea, but you seem to play quite a bit.
If you're are getting 60fps in osu! without frame drops, then I don't recommend it unless you play other games that lag. A gtx 970 is overkill for osu!. And by overkill, I mean that's way overkill. I use something out of the ATI AMD Radeon HD 7800 Series (I don't remember which one) and it would be overkill for me to use this card for just this game.
