General
- all fine! o3o
very consistent, nice diff!
- I just think there should be a little break before the 3 minute mark. Your first break's at ~ 4:45 and playing for so long is veeery tiring, especially if the rhythm's so calm and repeating.. when I testplayed the map I just hit tab after 2:30 because it was always the same stuff and I couldn't focus at all. Maybe that's just me,.. maybe not. You should ask a few people about this, I think. I'm sure they also can tell when it's starting to get boring (in case they think the same) and where you could place a short break. Or use the same breaks as in Normal?
I know there are some maps with 30minutes+ drain, but in most cases those marathons are compilations with different songs, different bpm and melody every 1:30 to 3 minutes.. so they don't get boring that fast and I don't mind playing 4-5 minutes without a break if there is more variety.. but with this song that's kinda hard to achieve. :c - 00:27:713 (1,1) - somehow this feels weird because of the spacing. They feel to close, also the sound the first slider follows in going on,so I'd suggest to extend it til the nect red tick. the weak beat on the white tick is well emphasized by the slidertick, so that should be fine, too.
- 00:30:997 (2,3) - flow is stange, cause of the back-forth movement, consider changing the shape (3) so players moves a little smoother. example - http://puu.sh/iUht0.jpg
- 00:33:406 (5) - ctrl+g, flows better?
or if you think the jump's too much, consider rearranging the previous pattern 00:32:530 (2,3,4,5) - example - http://puu.sh/iUhGD.jpg - http://puu.sh/iUhIe.jpg (slider (5)'s super messy, but I'm sure you get the idea!) - 00:34:939 (4,5) - I kinda like this, but ending the slider on the blue tick sounds sooo abrupt. like something's missing. I'd prefer if you emphasize the vocals more and do something like this -
or use both for a little more variety?
same goes for similar patterns! like 00:49:173 (5) - 02:02:530 (4,5) - - 00:36:472 (3,4,1) - flow can be improved by ctrl+g (4) and and then ctrl+g (1)
- 00:41:727 (3) - ignoring the beat on the red tick feels weird, how about shortening the slider and adding a reverse? (also same about the circle on blue tick as before)
same here - 00:55:742 (5,6) - here also is a beat on the red tick afterwards, so you cna try this instead? - - 01:22:895 (1,2,3) - previous 1/4 patterns overlap, why are the ones here spaced further apart? I think it looks and plays better if you use the same DS as for similar patterns
same for 01:25:961 (4,1) - and 01:50:924 (1,2) - 03:04:501 (1,2) - 03:07:567 (5,1) - I probably missed a few.. >-< - 01:48:735 (4,1) - plays better when unstacked, imo. Because the pace of the song stays the same even if there's a break in the vocals. maybe move (1) to 84|120?
- 01:52:676 (1) - there's a beat that wants to be clicked on the spinnerstart. can you start the spinner on the blue tick after this and add a circle, just like you did at the end? it's nice to play and emphasizes the beat better.
same for 03:34:282 (1) - - 01:55:304 (1,1) - same as in the beginning basically, feels like there's something missing. add a slider on the red tick? - http://puu.sh/iUiKQ.jpg
- 02:23:990 - there's a (maybe weak) sound on the red tick, a reverse on 02:23:771 (3) - works nicely here.
- 02:32:968 (1,2,3) - the jumps feel exaggerated. the song kinda slows down a little but the DS increases.. consider moving them closer? or maybe you can think of a different pattern - http://puu.sh/iUiZv.jpg
- 05:00:997 (1,1) - same as before
looks good to me. well done!
- 00:34:282 (3,4,1) - flows better if you ctrl+g (1) and then 00:36:472 (2) - too. you'd just have to move the following objects to match DS then..
- 00:41:289 (5) - the red tick should be clickable, imo, cause it's louder than the other beats. try this rhythm maybe? -
- 01:04:282 (3) - Idk why, but the straight parts of the slider somehow doesn't match with the other objects here. '-' I'd prefer if you curve it - http://puu.sh/iUjZO.jpg
- 01:06:034 (6,7) - matches the vocals better if you do this, imo -
similar here - 01:11:289 (2,3) - the sliders (7) and (3) start on a beat that's waaay weaker than the beat where the sliders end, so it feels off. The strong beats play better when you can click them. - 01:52:676 (1) - same aboout spinners as in Hard >o<
-
everything else is just repeating stuff, so I leave that to you. .o.
