August 12th, Wednesday 2015:
So, if there ever was the possibility of some sort of zombie apocalypse. Even though some things of a "zombie" would break the rules of how the universe works.
What do you think it would actually be like, and what would be the best thing to do during one?
Depending on the type of zombies we will have, such as slow zombies who kind of drag themselves along. Or either the kind that is able to sprint. My idea on how much the zombie apocalypse will be like will be different.
__
If we were to have the slow zombie apocalypse, it wouldn't truly be that dangerous. The ones that are dangerous during this are most likely other people who are taking advantage of the chaos. Due to how slow the zombies are, and most likely their reflexes won't be the best, most people will either be able to fight them off easily. In melee range, you can easily take care of a zombie by being smarter, faster, and also stronger. Although, it is very hard to fight off a group of them with a melee weapon. You should be able to easily run away to somewhere safe and hide out for about 30-45 minutes to make sure you are not being followed. In a slow zombie apocalypse if you are aware of your surroundings you have a higher chance of surviving if you memorize the vocal noises a zombie makes, and that familiar stutter dragging stepping sound. The zombies most likely won't have a good chance to bite you, due to you being cautious when fighting unless you're confident for whatever reason. The most important problem in a slow walking zombie apocalypse, would most likely be food and shelter.
Food can be grown for fruits and vegetables, but they will generally take a long time to grow to be harvested. Which means you'll need another food source, which would be probably be your scarce scavenged food supplies before you had started growing food. Fishing is hard for me to figure out if it would work out or not. If a zombie, or an infected being (That has not turned yet) dies or drowns in or nearby a water source, is it safe to drink from it? If there is a small chance of becoming infected through that, how safe is it to eat a fish? A fish maybe won't turn into a zombie, but it could actually carry the disease. I can't test this theory but it is a hypothesis.

So a friend and I were talking about why a sprinting zombie apocalypse would be scary as hell. If zombies were able to sprint, that would likely mean they have a significant degree of strength higher than those slower walking ones. Basically if they can sprint, they can most likely hold onto a target more harder with their limbs or either break down something not too strong. A slow walking zombie would most likely not be strong as it, and if they can't even walk at a fast pace or sprint, they most likely can't break down something like a front door of a house (That isn't too damaged) or certain plexiglass. Now, a zombie that can sprint. That is a totally different situation, because they have the strength to sprint at a certain speed. Not to mention they don't even feel tired or fatigued and also ignore pain.
It would be scary as hell to be scavenging through a building, and then accidentally bump something on the ground with your foot. If it was loud enough for something in the room next over to hear, most likely a zombie will be able to hear it soon. Next thing you know, you'll hear some fast footsteps from somewhere above your below you, or maybe even from a room on the same level that you haven't explored yet. It's a zombie. Depending on what you have, being in melee range of a fast zombie is dangerous. Shooting a firearm may attract other zombies if there are any more in the building, or either nearby the structure you are in.
