Problem Details:
Several Brazilian players have been having issues with Bancho throughout the past few days. Scores keep not being able to submit, multiplayer isn't working properly (Bancho kicks several players in the room whenever they finish playing a map), spectator is lagging a lot... I've done some research on users having this issue and it seems like it only affects Brazilian players throughout SEVERAL ISPs, so I can assure you it's not an ISP issue.

We're trying to play a tournament and it's impossible, since Bancho keeps kicking BR players whenever we finish a map. It's causing the tournament to be delayed and also several problems.

osu! version: 20150414.2 (latest)

+1.

We were playing a tournament match and as soon as everyone finished the map, every one in the room got kicked.

Bancho even added everyone's score to the final one, twice (http://puu.sh/i7yTW/d0e58e37df.png) and disconnected everyone after submitting.

The players hire several different ISPs (Global Village Telecom, NET and Oi Telecom, not sure if there's any other involved).

I haven't played multi in a while, but i'm experiencing the same problem with the scores. I tried random stuff like logging out and in both here and at bancho to see if it would make a difference and it doesnt seem to make any, i'm always get the "couldn't upload the score" or something like that message.

Same problems here. None of my recent scores could be submitted. I tried download again osu, reset my laptop, but nothing helped... It always says "retrieving online ranking statistics" in the end of the songs and after that it keep sending me warning messages that it will retry submit the score after 1,2,4,8,16,32,64 minutes...

Having a similar problem, but it's still a connection issue.

tl;dr My spectator is lagging for who try to spec me (It just die when someone try to spec), osu! site isn't loading pages as fast as other sites (youtube, google etc), some scores isn't submitting and received 2 silences for "spam" when my last message was 3~8 minutes before the silence.

Yeah, I'm getting random silences too...my problem is exactly yours....here's a video showing it...it is muted because of twitch, but you can clearly see this is a lot random.....and that was the second silence in 2 days....the exact same thing

I think ill wait for this to be sorted to play again, I have been watching my registered score in each beatmaps page I played for the past 2 days or so and it seems that only about 10% of my scores are actually getting through, and i'm as addicted to chasing a better rank as anyone else (。⌒∇⌒)。

Are you all on the same ISP?

Could you guys provide a traceroute and pathping result to osu.ppy.sh?

To do this do the following; Open the command promt (cmd) by pressing and holding the Windows button and then presing R.
In the command promt type "tracert osu.ppy.sh" and let it finish.
Then type "pathping osu.ppy.sh" and let this finish aswell.
Once both are done take a screenshot or copy/paste the text of both results.

Other than this, contact your ISP.

Several different ISPs peppy, I for instance have the one named NET Virtua and i'm from Belo Horizonte in southeastern brazil. Outside of Bancho and the osu website which is also very slow everything is working perfectly with my internet, such as torrenting, facebook, gmail, amazon, reddit, to name a few popular stuff I used the past day, all normal.

And here is the output to what VeilStar requested:

Well, um... I'm sorry to say this but this might not be the problem that everyone is accusing to be bancho since I for one don't have that problem.
Bancho works perfectly for me as it aways did, It's submitting my scores normally, no problems on spectating or beeing spectated and no random silences.
I also did the tracert and pathping tests on cmd, It's in portuguese but i'm sure you can read the numbers.

LeeoS
I have this same problem, osu website is slow and my scores don't submit.
I play csgo, watch live streams, reddit, youtube, and other websites perfectly. :o

Other than this, contact your ISP.

Contacted my ISP, there seems to be no known issues to any specific routes. That was expected since several different ISPs are having the same problems. If it's something related to the external infrastructure, I don't think any of them have the power or means to fix them.

Also every other service runs just fine.

Pathping: http://puu.sh/i9hu1/fb68ad6aef.png

Also apparently whoever said that his connection is fine, he is using the same ISP as I am (NET Virtua - check splits 2 and 3, both under virtua.com.br)

Also the connection to Puush servers seems to be working just fine, if that makes any difference.

I dont know if you guys did anything, but for the past 90min or so my scores are submitting normally and the website loading normally again, it had been at least a week since I had seen both work normally here.

Currently at my workplace, website and it's features loading normally.

Naturally I can't test the game-client itself, but I will double check when I get home.

Is working for me now, my scores are submitting and the website is fast again

Not an issue exclusive to Bancho; rather, a regional problem. Many servers in different regions have been affected (most notably, North America), while connections to servers hosted within Brazil were mostly unaffected

Problem originated in Brazilian infrastructure (hence the multiple ISPs having trouble) and has since been fixed.

^ seems like it wasn't an issue with Bancho at all. I guess it's solved (unless anyone is still having problems with it).
creamynebula
bigfeh do you have a source like a news story or a technical report for what you mentioned? Just curious about the issue, not doubting you or anything lol.

I looked into the issue myself, and no, I haven't written a report. I'm sorry if this sounds a bit weird but yeah, I'm the source on that one
creamynebula
Hmm ok, well thanks for clarifying the issue and we are indeed /thread here
