Ok, matches are going to be tomorrow, Ideally you've already talked to your opponent about viable match times, however if you have not I'll schedule some slots for you and send the information to the other team; If this is necessary please notify me ASAP. A couple teams have already messaged me about their match times, Now, as this is just a qualifying round, I'm going to run multiple matches simultaneously;these matches will not bee streamed and I will not have a moderator in your match. Please just send me a link to your match history, and note any maps that were used as warm-ups. Also make sure you're using the "Team-VS" Game mode.

Just a tiny little problem about talking to our opponents: WE DON'T KNOW THE MEMBERS, ONLY THE TEAM NAME!
Of course it is possible to look through the thread for the team but that is really inconvenient. Please put the team members with links to the front post, preferably link with their userid because some of them changed usernames. Thank you very much.

Hey, so thanks to everyone who has participated so far, however there will be a slight delay in the release of the lower bracket and the release of the next map pool as half of the matches are yet to be played. I'll give a little time extension as this is the "un-moderated" round however only a few days or I'll start DQ'ing just to make sure things move along fine.

why would he do that? You're able to set up the match yourself, and handle it yourself. All you had to do was get it done by a certain date. That's not too hard lol, just message the team you're playing about setting up a time.plaatinum wrote:

To explain, I said if absolutely necessary message me and I can get it done, otherwise me trying to set up the time myself is overly intrusive and can often lead to conflict of interest as I'm not aware of everything everyone does in their lives.plaatinum wrote:

SO, it appears all in all, even with confirmation rules and checking up on players, six teams never showed up to play and have been DQ'd, a couple teams are already in quarter finals because both teams on the other side of their set were afk and one team in particular got a double by....... Anyways the brackets are updated and the new maps for round of 16 are up. Check out your opponents, matches start next Saturday the 11th.

Ok, sorry that took so long, Had some IRL things I got caught up in yesterday. Maps are live to look at, quarters will start on the 25th, also starting on the semi-finals I will be moderating the matches personally.

Not to sound rude or anything but the difficulty spike is retarded and its pretty terrible map pool.
Some of the picks don't even make sense, its like tossing Daidai Genome to HDHR section.

OK well, as it stands only one team is left anyways so I'll just call it and say team Laptop wins, I guess I seriously overestimated most of the players in thie tournament as most of the quarter-finalists were unable to play the maps i choose, which makes me question life alot, but whatever I'll make sure to make the maps piss-easy next time. -_-

I think its the way you handled this tourney so poorly. There was absolutely no referees because you did not decide to find any, making players referee their own match which is honestly a very stupid concept as you did not even inform them. And even now you are too lazy to finish the tournament you started. If you don't bother to put in even an ounce of effort and throw shits in and call it a tourney, obviously it will turn own disastrous like this. Have you not once considered even getting a co-organizer or did you decide to just do it all yourself because you think you can? As far as i know, almost every team is discontent with your "map picks". Theres not even formatting or anything in the original post, its all looks like a cluttered pile of junk. I can't even see an objective in this. So in the end, you decided to toss in 1 team as a winner and just DQ everything else. Not only are you disappointing players but also wasting their time playing these matches.
Honestly, don't pull off crappy tournaments like this every again. To the very least get someone else or staff to help you. Don't make one for unwanted hype and for your own shits and giggles.
