SPOILER
- The biggest thing by far is you need to use Distance Snap religiously. Keep it at or very close to a set value of your choosing for each part of the song, and increase it for jumps and decrease it for streams of notes. I would say based on what you've mapped so far use 1.4-1.5x for it. You can change the value by holding ALT and the spacing bar will appear at the top right.

- The circle at 00:02:385 is too close to the one before it, it's confusing to read.

- Same with 00:03:718 it's also too close to the previous circle.

- The three notes and then single note at 00:05:718 are confusing as well. ou have to remember people playing this map for the first time don't want to have to read every approach circle in order to time their hits right. It should generally be apparent from the spacing of the notes unless the rhythm is identical across that section of song, in which case you can generally mess with it more.

- 00:07:218 Too close to the previous circle again

- 00:08:385 This triple is overmapped, there's no backing for a triple here in the song. It just feels forced in.

- 00:11:385 Not sure about these three notes being in the same place, I feel like you could make it more interesting than that. Also 00:11:885 seems badly spaced, either it's too far away from the notes before it or too close to the note after it.

- 00:12:385 This is a matter of personal preference I think, but that slider just looks out of place with how far it curves. Make it less steep and angle it so that the note before leads into the start of it naturally.

- 00:12:051 this double is the same as the triple before, no reason to have the second note here.

- 00:13:718 This part is passable, as I said above if the rhythm is constant it's ok to shake up the spacing so that 5th note being way out is ok, but aesthetically i'm not sure about it. I feel it could be worked on somewhat.

- 00:15:551 Similar to the above. I'm not sure why these two notes specifically are stacked on top of each other when the rest of the notes are a curve.

- The hitsounding is very rough. The base is Normal which is fine, but there need to be a lot less normal hitsounds in there in general. For most maps Soft is the most used hitsound, with Drum and Normal alternating every other beat.

- Lastly the difficulty settings. HP 8 and OD 9 are ridiculous for a 4 star map. You want around 6 for both.

There are still quite a few things that could be fixed though, so second mod post :P

This time i'm leaving a version of the map that has the intro edited for you to look at and listing the changes I made, to give you an idea of what your end product should look similar to. It's edited up to 00:12:051 after which I've left as is.

So, first the code for the edited map:

Make a new difficulty for your map with the difficulty name 'Edited Insane'. Then go to the folder osu stores song maps in on your hard drive, find the file for the new map difficulty and open it in notepad. Delete everything in the file and replace it with the code below.

Secondly the changes I made:

- I went through the map with Distance snap and used a base distance of 1.5x for snaps. This was the biggest thing, you need to be consistent with spacing. I noticed that just after the section I edited there are patterns of notes 1/2 beats apart in time but spaced like you would expect 1/4 streams - that seems intentionally confusing to me.
- I edited the new combos so that each combo is around 4 beats long, it makes more sense generally.
- Used a slider at 00:06:051 instead of two circles.
- At 00:06:551 there's a triple in the song's rhythm so I added the notes there to copy it and altered the slider after it.
- I also extended the slider by 1/4 and removed the note that was there, I don't think it fits and I can't hear any basis for it in the song.
- Added a note at 00:09:218 to match the song.
- Hitsounded everything

  • Offset is wrong :!:
  1. Offset should be 1.385

    Judging by the actual progress I could point :

    You shouldn't be skipping so manny snaps using only hit circles your map will get boring ! For exemple:

    00:31:051 (2) - Delete
    00:31:218 (3) - Delete



    The map is really short and you already have so many of those, try replace some for sliders like this:



    Also is important to keep in mind to actually map THE SONG not create a new song from your head over it
    Use red snaps more often ! If you keep skipping them like that you will end up with a really boring map if you didn't understand what I mean maybe this will help:
    00:28:051 (6) - Add a hit circle at least at the white snap after this circle


    You just missed a beat from the song on the white snap and you also could have a beat on the red snap if you want to. When I play this is like I feel a emptiness if you do that once it's okay but most parts of the map follows this pattern
