Is it just me or is nothing being seeded? The only one that's downloading is the 2017 standard one going at a whopping speed of 2.7kb/s

My internet is crap and I'm the only one seeding for now. It should be better over time, hopefully.
yeah at the moment basicaly no one is seeding, hopefully with time either more people will seed, or when we fully dl the set, we can start seeding for everyone else.

If I get the all the Osu packs then am I set for Osu mania as well or do I get different beatmaps if I download the ones specific to Osu Mania?

No. There are mapsets in osu!mania that don't have osu!standard maps and they will only be found in the osu!mania packs.
In that case, should I get more beat maps specific to mania if I have downloaded all the Osu beatmaps?

If you play osu!standard and osu!mania, you should get them all or at least the recent ones.
You won't have duplicates. If you import a mapset that you already have it will replace it.

(i have no idea of how torrent works, just want to help sharing because i have nice server with symertrical gigabit)
PS: i managed do to it for most files, so you just have to seed a few more to me now

I am not seeding all day long. Unfortunately, some people download the torrents and remove their files right away. The osu!standard 2017 pack went from more than 100 to 32 now. There were a few seeds for taiko too but just 1 right now. I can't upload very fast either.

the main problem is, that a lot of torrents dont correspond to the direct files.. so even if i download the files i cant see them because torrent client dont accept them. else, as mentioned before, i would love to spread the world with my serverElessey wrote:

I am trying to seed as much as I can, but I don't have 2011-2016 archives, though.

So now i can seed and spread the world over torrent(server with gigabit), but unfortunately a few torrent files DONT match the files in mega so it cant reach 100% in torrent and nobody is seeding those. i want this to be awesome!!!!

Another idea of mine is to add a torrent which contains ALL files of one category so you dont have to soooo many torrent files.
The files/torrent that are missing:
2016 osu! (stuck at 83,4%): files: 1, 3, 4, 6, 7
2016 osu!mania (stuck at 81.7%): files: 1, 2, 3, 4, 11, 12
2017 osu!catch (stuck at 95.6%): files: 6, 7, 8
please seed only those 3 or repack the torrents!

I have stopped doing Mega links for the whole year (because it's bugged sometimes) and went with torrents instead. Unless you are talking about a specific month...Genjuro wrote:

Hello. Quick update to tell that the January packs will be uploaded later than usual and the February packs will probably be delayed too. The reason is that I'm currently thinking whether or not I should continue using Mega or completely switch to torrenting everything (including the monthly packs) or uploading on a private server.

torrent works great i think and is also better for people with slow internet where the download takes a long time
i uploaded over 3.3TB in one week!
So the last ranked beatmap pack that is included in the 2017 torrent package is #600?
