The Vista one is boring, but 98's BSOD is legendary(And old'd). Oh, and Microsoft's conference last E3 included some lulz, too. The n00b on stage kept pausing by mistake when playing Rock Band.

I remember seeing that clip from the Win98 demonstration on TV before it was shipped. I still don't know what M$ was thinking (or maybe I do) with the 9x/ME line. NT4 had been out for a bit before Win95 and it was MUCH more stable than 9x ever was. After trying out Windows 2000 I absolutely hated Win98.

On the other hand, Micro$oft should've just stayed with the formula they used with Win2k. XP ended up being okay (and seemed to be more classified as an extension to 2k: Win2000 was also known as Windows NT 5.0 and XP was showing up in webstats as Windows NT 5.1) but I still think Win2000 is the superior OS out of all Windows OSes so far.
