Some things in Easy and Normal may be repeated, cuz I modded those two diffs yesterday.

General:
  1. Soooo many green lines. 0_0
  2. No tags? Maybe try to add some? Not a requirement but a suggestion for players to find this song a bit easier.
  3. Your BG resolution is a bit weird. It’s only like 1 pixel or so off, but everything have to be perfect, lol. I managed to fix your current one:

  1. 00:28:338 (3) –Imo, a straight slider here will support this pattern better. Like this:
  2. 00:33:838 –I suggest adding a note here. It will fit nicely with the music and also prevent that awkward gap.
  3. 00:52:338 (3,1,2,1) –and so on . . . I feel you used too many of these repeat sliders. The rhythm gets too repetitive imo and also rather boring. Try to whip up more of a variety rhythms/patterns here. Something like this perhaps:
    There are other places in this diff where these constant repetitive sliders occur, but I’m not going to point out every single one. Just go through the diff and make sure that your repetivity doesn’t go out of hand.
  4. 01:43:338 (2,3) –Imo, a blanket here will look a bit better:

  5. 02:01:838 –Maybe add a note here? There’s a clear vocal, so perhaps it would be a good idea to map the vocal.

Like I said in-game, this is a pretty good mapset. Could do with a few more polishes and austhetics fixes of course but overall it looks very promising.

So after reading -Nya-'s mod it seems aesthetically this mapset could be improved. Hopefully this will help. Most, if not all of these changes should be very easy to fix.

[Hard]

  1. 00:03:338 (3,5) - Blanket is off.
  2. 00:05:838 (7) - Two circles here would be better imo. That way the player can actually click on 00:06:088 - to begin the triplet.
  3. 00:13:338 (7,8,9,1) - I think you could improve the flow from 7 into the triplets. After 7 the player will have a right and slightly downward motion, but the triplets are pointed upward and curving left.
  4. 00:15:088 (2,3,4,5) - You could set them up as perfect triangles just to improve aesthetics and stuff.
  5. 00:16:088 (4) - -116||54
  6. 00:16:338 (5) - 45||113
  7. 00:23:338 (3,4,5) - Would be nice if you could make this centered on the screen. This shouldn't require a lot of fixing from the later circles too.
  8. 00:30:838 (2,3) - Idk about this overlap. It's very small so it almost seems more like a mistake than an intentional overlap.
  9. 01:10:338 (1,2) - ^This overlap is much better. I think you should try and aim for something more like this.
  10. 02:33:338 (9) - This slider maps some nice guitar sounds in the back, maybe use a different shape rather than a straight slider? It's in a good location to create some sort of symmetrical slider design too.
  11. 02:36:338 (5,6) - Could improve this overlap. Well actually here's an idea.... Some people like this design, others don't. i'll just show you anyways and you can be the judge of that.
  12. 03:05:338 (4) - Well, i guess this is a slow song, but maybe you could make this a 5-note stream instead of 3 note and use a 1/4 repeat slider instead of 1/2. Up to you though, i just felt this part was a bit undermapped for the hardest diff (unless you have an Insane GD in the works).

  1. 00:08:088 - You could add a note here imo. It would fit with your rhythm.
  2. 00:34:338 (1,3) - I wish you could do some sort of blanketting with this. With the AR you're using, you can actually see circle 3 appearing towards the end of slider 1 so I think blanketting would benefit this pattern aesthetically.
  3. 01:04:338 (5,6) - I think you could improve the rhythm here. The held guitar sound at 01:04:838 - Is omitted because right now it's mapped to a slider-end when it should be a slider-head since it's a held note. You could try a rhythm like this instead:

  4. 01:43:838 (3) - 1/2 slider instead?
  5. 02:16:338 (3,4) - Would be nice if you could rotate slider 3 so that it points more in the direction of 4. Like if you could make it a straight line that'd be cool ;o.
  6. 02:43:088 (2,3,4) - I think you could improve this slider placement. You usually map a slightly sharper flow at 02:43:838 (3,4) - . So this pattern stood out for me since the sharp flow is from 2>3
  7. 03:02:338 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - Is there some way you can maybe reduce density here just slightly? Compare this combo to any other combo on this diff and you'll notice it's very dense with no 1/1 gaps.

  2. 00:26:088 (9,10) - 01:11:838 (3) - 01:45:838 (6,7) - claps
  3. 02:10:338 (1) - whistle
  4. 03:01:838 (7) - 03:05:088 (2) - 03:06:088 (5) - claps instead of whistles
  5. 02:36:338 (5,6) - overlap here is pretty gross since it covers almost the entire body of 6 + its tail. i assume you know what i mean, since every other overlap you've done looks great like 01:10:338 (1,2) - . something like 02:38:338 (1,2) - would probably be easiest to implement
  6. 03:15:088 (2,4) - covering a reverse with an object that produces hitlighting (in this case a slidertail) is not a thing that should happen. should move the tail somewhere else

  1. 00:48:338 (3) - 01:19:338 (3) - if you plan on having claps on the ticks, make them consistent and do the lower volume thing mentioned in hard.
  2. smaller circles would prob be more appropriate. the map looks more crowded than it should becasue of the current giant circles (and other stuff that will be mentioned)
  3. 00:20:338 (4,5) - would be nice if these didn't require as sharp of movement. less sharp.
  4. 00:24:338 (3,4) - may also apply to ^, but not as severely. making it the same amount as 00:52:338 (4,5) - would be k. probably applies to some other places as well i won't point them out
  5. 00:23:838 (2) - bending 1/2 sliders on normals so much that the inner sliderbody isn't visible is not a very good thing to do. it would probably be a pain to change all of them (since you do it a lot), but just bending these less makes things less confusing and looks a lot better. (changing circle size to something smaller also helps this :p)
  6. 00:33:838 (6) - similar to ^, 5's stack on here makes the inner bend just not visible so using a straight slider better. (the broken flow thing between 6,1 also doesn't work very well there so could probably do something about it)
  7. 02:20:088 (3) - stacking on 4 works way better. stacking underneath sliderends is just not a thing people do on normals and i think you know that already...
  8. 03:02:338 (1) - section here is probably too dense. removing an object somewhere so there's a break would be fine, like 03:05:088 (6) -
  9. 00:51:338 (2,3,4) - you do this type of thing a lot. as a concept it's fine, but when you've got them arranged like this, things just look too compact. giving them more length like 00:27:338 (2,3,4) - would be a lot less of a pain to look at. this would apply to all the other ones that are super close together.

nothing to complain about on easy. hard is also great. normal is the only diff i have problems with. apply whatever and we'll see where to go from there

  5. 02:36:338 (5,6) - overlap here is pretty gross since it covers almost the entire body of 6 + its tail. i assume you know what i mean, since every other overlap you've done looks great like 01:10:338 (1,2) - . something like 02:38:338 (1,2) - would probably be easiest to implement hmm would like to keep this if possible since I feel like having the repeat angled this way creates the best flow, and I honestly don't think it looks shabby :c
  6. 03:15:088 (2,4) - covering a reverse with an object that produces hitlighting (in this case a slidertail) is not a thing that should happen. should move the tail somewhere else remapped the ending, flows and looks nicer

  1. 00:48:338 (3) - 01:19:338 (3) - if you plan on having claps on the ticks, make them consistent and do the lower volume thing mentioned in hard.
  2. smaller circles would prob be more appropriate. the map looks more crowded than it should becasue of the current giant circles (and other stuff that will be mentioned)
  3. 00:20:338 (4,5) - would be nice if these didn't require as sharp of movement. less sharp.
  4. 00:24:338 (3,4) - may also apply to ^, but not as severely. making it the same amount as 00:52:338 (4,5) - would be k. probably applies to some other places as well i won't point them out
  5. 00:23:838 (2) - bending 1/2 sliders on normals so much that the inner sliderbody isn't visible is not a very good thing to do. it would probably be a pain to change all of them (since you do it a lot), but just bending these less makes things less confusing and looks a lot better. (changing circle size to something smaller also helps this :p)
  6. 00:33:838 (6) - similar to ^, 5's stack on here makes the inner bend just not visible so using a straight slider better. (the broken flow thing between 6,1 also doesn't work very well there so could probably do something about it)
  7. 02:20:088 (3) - stacking on 4 works way better. stacking underneath sliderends is just not a thing people do on normals and i think you know that already...
  8. 03:02:338 (1) - section here is probably too dense. removing an object somewhere so there's a break would be fine, like 03:05:088 (6) -
  9. 00:51:338 (2,3,4) - you do this type of thing a lot. as a concept it's fine, but when you've got them arranged like this, things just look too compact. giving them more length like 00:27:338 (2,3,4) - would be a lot less of a pain to look at. this would apply to all the other ones that are super close together.
  10. 01:07:338 (2,3,4) - distance snap stuff uh i dunno why i even noticed this
  11. 01:19:338 (3) - 02:47:338 (3) - 02:16:338 (3) - would look better if angled away from previous objects. just less squished patterning stuff

    Since I kinda re-worked the Diff it would be pointless to comment on each individual pattern I changed, so I'll make a list of things I took into consideration while re-working:

    - upped CS by .5 to make things less crowded

    -no anti-flow

    -alot less of the sharp movement, some things are still a bit sharp I guess, but these should be a big bother imo

    - minor rythmical changes that are probably not worth mentioning

    -made everything less crowded


nothing to complain about on easy. hard is also great. normal is the only diff i have problems with. apply whatever and we'll see where to go from there

  2. 02:22:350 (1) –Eeehhh, so risky. This slider is very low and like just just missing the edge of the screen. I don’t suggest taking that risk. Just lift the slider a bit.
Normal:
  1. 00:30:350 (1) –This slider is also very low (the bump of the slider). Please avoid that kind of risk and just lift the bump a bit. Better to be safe than sorry.
  2. 01:41:850 (6) –Make this slider straight as well. It just makes more sense to support 01:41:350 (5) –
Hard:
  1. 00:14:350 (1) –The finish on the head of this slider sounds a bit weird. I noticed you just added a whistle on the head of that slider in the Easy and Normal. I suggest you do the same in Hard.
  2. 03:15:850 (3) –Perhaps also lift this slider just a bit. To be safe.

Can you maybe just make sure there is really no “source” for this song or something. I’ve seen a mapset get unranked because of this, but if you’re absolutely sure there’s definitely no specific source then it’s fine.
