what's screen resolution?
Andrea
Try switching to windowed mode, close your osu!, go in your osu! folder and open the .cfg file and change this line like this code.

Fullscreen = BorderlessWindow

If the problems gets fixed with that, try changing to fullscreen again and let me know if the problem occurs again.

You can change this in the configuration dialog aswell.
Hold SHIFT and open osu!, keep holding shift untill the dialog pops up. You can change it in there.

Anyhow, if that doesn't work switch back to the Stable release stream for now. (Which you can also do in the configuration dialog.)
Try updating your GPU drivers, and see if it works after that. (Though I doubt it will.)

Hmm.. I just checked in beta (Opengl) and same happened -_-
Andrea
Have you tried updating your video drivers like suggested as well? That could be the cause.

Hmm.. I don't think I updated my video drivers.
Andrea
Then you should totally try that if you didn't do so.

I can help you finding your specific video drivers if you tell me what's your graphic card model.

Wait, I'll ask my bro what graphic card is this.
Edit: -_- he doesn't know, sorry.
Andrea
You can find it by yourself just by doing these simple steps.

1) Click your Windows Start button.
2) On the start menu, click "Run".
3) In the Open box type dxdiag, and then click OK.
4) The DirectX Diagnostic Tool opens. Click the Display tab.
5) On the Display tab, information about your graphics card is shown in the Device section.

Let me know if you need further help :3
