[Archived] Songs Arent Loading And Arent Saving as the right file

Problem Details:It saves as a osu! beatmap and dosen't come in a folder whenever i download a song it says this:
"This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Please install a program or, if one is already installed, create and association in the Default Programs control panel.
Any help or suggestions my Computer is a Windows 8

Seems like it failed to set the file association for you.

Try the following;

Download any beatmap from the beatmap list
Save the file. (Basically, don't open it, but save it to a folder.)
When it's finished downloading right click the file in then folder and go to propreties.
In the Propreties window, at the 'General' tab, there's a "Opens with:" section. Click the 'Change...' button.
Then click the 'Browse' button and browse to the osu! installation folder. C:\Users\VS\AppData\Local\osu!" by default, iirc.
Then double-click the osu!.exe file
Click the 'OK' button a few times.
You should be set now.

Otherwise you can go to the windows Control Panel > Programs > Default Programs > Set associations, and set it in there for .osz.
Though it's the same thing, really.

basically opening the osu itself is associationg the osz files and so forth to the current running osu,

don't forget your administrative previledges for that, if you didn't have it, put the osz/zip on songs folder and the osu will extract it by self.
