It's been so long, osu! ;u; I mapped this in two days. I hope it's alright. It's my first time to submit a hard diff. so... (「゚ ヮ゚)「

Why decide Aldnoah as the romanised title?
I decided "Aldnoah" as the romanised title for this song instead of "Allusia". Based on the wiki, it could mean either of them but I chose the previous one because, as the lyric goes,

Ich reich dir meine hand (Aldnoah)

It, imo, means "The empire is in your hands, Aldnoah." or "I'll reach (obtain) you with my hands, Aldnoah." Afterall, because of Aldnoah, the emperor, Rayregalia Vers Rayvers, was able to attain incredible power and created the Vers empire in Mars. Of course, Asseylum Vers Allusia is also his heir (grand-daughter), so she gained this incredible power because of their bloodline.
tl;dr: Aldnoah was the cause of everything; the power, the greed, the war.
If you want to discuss this matter, don't be shy and feel free to tell me your thoughts. ◝(๑>▽<๑)◜

Have fun! Hiroyuki Sawano's ost(s) is(are) luv. <3

[General]
  1. the BPM is 80, and offset is 236 (apply this last)
  2. the current mp3 bitrate is not rankable, so i encoded an acceptable version for you: http://puu.sh/hcHhh.mp3
[Hard]
  1. 01:15:593 (9,1,2,3,4,5) - this is a bit hard to read. try something like this http://puu.sh/hcFIl.png
  2. personally i would prefer normal stacking instead of manual stacking.
  3. i think the timing point at 01:12:407 should be removed. just make that whole section kiai instead of flashing since it's a more stronger part of the song :P
  4. 00:51:230 (4,5,6,7,1) - use this kind of rhythm (minus the slider) a lot more in the kiai, starting on white ticks. it would feel a lot nicer :P
  5. try to map a circle or start of slider on each of the bigger white ticks.
hope this helps

[Hard]

00:30:615 (1) - NC
00:43:734 (4,5) - You could make these into a blanket.
Something like this
00:45:983 (7) - Imo this slider here looks lazy and awkward. I suggest curving it a bit to compliment 00:45:233 (6) -
00:47:107 (1) - NC because the song mellows at this point
00:49:356 (1) - Straighten this maybe? This diff has a lot of 1/4 curved slivers, it would be nice for a change
00:50:480 (3,4) - Blanket
01:15:780 (1,2,3,4,5,1) - This entire pattern here looks like a huge jumbled mess orz. You only really need 2 about single notes, the rest could be replaced by a 1/4 slider. I really urge you to do something about this it's not fun to play at all ; ;
01:20:278 (4,5,6,7) - More singles /cries How about trying a back arrow slider instead? You don't have any of those
01:21:215 (8,3) - Weird how these sliders look next to eachother
How about this instead:
01:26:275 (6,7,8,1) - Confusing. I would just stack 6,7,8 on top of 1 no need to get fancy
01:30:773 (4,5,6,7) - Try replacing with a back arrow slider. This diff is really lacking in those ; ;
01:41:830 (4,5) - Blanket
01:43:329 (6) - Would look better if you flipped it horizontally
01:49:701 (7,8) - These aren't perfectly parallel to eachother. Fix
01:56:073 (4,5) - This would look like a better blanket if you curve 5 a bit more
01:57:947 (7,9) - Blanket
01:51:200 (3,4) - ^
02:06:193 (1,2,3,4) - Weird pattern again imo. If you really want to keep these notes just stack them all onto 02:06:942 (5) -
02:08:067 (7) - I would flip this horizontally then rotate so that it compliments 02:06:942 (5) - Looks better
02:09:379 (10) - NC
02:12:939 (2,6,7,8) -Sounds really off.. Doesn't follow the music at all. Listen to the beats in the background, and map to those you'll see a difference

Comments: This really didn't seem like a hard difficultly at all, more like a normal +. I think it has to do with all the 1/2 sliders you incorporated in place of 1/4's that make it seem too easy. At times the 1/2 sliders didn't suit the beats of the song and felt really awkward to play. Some elements of this map were under mapped, needs serious improvement.
Also, bpm is 80. Not sure about the offset though, it sounds about 230-250 somewhere in there

  5. try to map a circle or start of slider on each of the bigger white ticks. Changed 00:47:861 and 01:05:861 and 01:32:486. Again, if you have suggestions as to where I should change/do this, please do tell me!

I'll do my best next time. It's quite difficult especially with the slow rhythm of the song. /corners/ But, I hope it has improved now. Anyhow, if you still something off or a part that I must do some major changes, don't hesitate to tell me!
Also, bpm is 80. Not sure about the offset though, it sounds about 230-250 somewhere in there Fixed already.
Thank you very much for the splendid mod <3

NM request :D I hope this is helpful to you

Easy
00:47:486 (5) - this can be removed since it's not mapped to anything
00:48:236 (1) - This can be end 00:48:236 here
00:50:111 (2) - moving this to 00:50:486 matches the beat
00:50:861 (3) - move this to 00:51:236 with the same reason as above
00:56:111 (2) - move this to 00:55:736 ^^^
00:56:486 - add a note here ^^^
00:56:861 (4) - move this to 00:57:236 ^^^
01:04:736 (1,2) - this is too hard for new players to react
01:20:111 (2) - move this to 01:20:486 fixes the beat
01:20:861 (3) - move this to 01:21:236 ^^^
02:20:111 (2) - move this to 02:20:486 ^^^
02:20:861 (3) - move this to 02:21:236 ^^^

02:21:986 (4) - move this to 02:22:736 and remove 02:23:486 (5)
OR
02:21:986 (4) - remove this and add a note here 02:22:736

Maybe the beat is really hard to get since it's mainly vocal

Normal
00:31:361 (2) - add a note here
00:31:736 (2) - make this longer til 00:31:736 sounds great
00:47:111 (2) - lower the hitsound volume to around 20%-25% because its kinda noisy
00:53:861 (3) - add a note here to match the beat
02:24:611 (2) - shorten this to 02:24:611 to match the beat

Hard
00:26:486 (4) - I think this sounds more better
00:41:673 (5) - make this closer to 00:41:111 (4) since it's quite hard for people to understand due to its distance
00:46:736 (1) - lower the hitsound volume
01:00:986 (5) - move this to 01:00:798 and add a note in 01:01:361 sounds better
01:16:361 (4) - stack this with 01:16:173 (3) ?
02:06:236 (1,2,3,4) - the shape can be improved
02:11:673 (9) - stack this with 02:11:861 (10) ? :)

I hope that you can get you map ranked soon :D
Nekomata
just coming back here randomly (no kudosu)

hard looks better since the update. i'm able to get relatively good accuracy now.
the only real problem remaining is just the inconsistent spacing and (not so optimal) tap rhythm (try to fully distance snap. you probably want to play with the SV or DS a little bit)

so here's some simple guidelines for you when going through the Hard diff again (it will improve the rhythm significantly) :P
  1. try to have a circle on each white tick (hitcircle, sliderstart, sliderend)
  2. a 1/2 slider starting on a red tick will fit only if it agrees with the music
  3. map the next blue tick if you mapped a red with a circle (like a triple starting from red basically. it should fit very well if it's consistent)
  4. nc each big white tick. this implies you should try to map a "tap" (hitcircle, sliderstart) on each one.
  5. the drums are strong in this song. map accordingly but keep it simple too since it is only a Hard (switch to vocals if they are stronger)
just my ideas for this song :)

ok, hope it helps :P

makes me want to go start watching the anime
