Hey :D Here's the summary of my review for your beatmap :3

I tried to search as much details as possible for each difficulty! Please take my work into consideration! :)

  1. General
    • Felt like there was a general lack of symmetry
    • Sometimes I was embarassed with the changements of the slider's velocity
    • I found that your normal diff. was pretty hard for a normal diff -lol-



  2. Insane
    Design & stuff
    • Shape of the slider at 00:07:523 (3) is unpleasant..
    - Same for 01:15:023 (6) -overlap..-
    - Also for those three 00:44:555 (5,7,2)
    • Perhaps you could make this one more symmetrical 00:31:742 (1)

    Circles
    • I feel like this circle hasn't its place here 00:17:836 (2)
    • I don't feel really comfortable with the rythm of those three circles, 00:21:742 (3,4,5)
    -but maybe it's because I'm not really good in hard diffs.-

    Sliders
    • This one seems not to be in rhythm 00:16:430 (2)

Hey a M4M request for you!

[General]
  1. I can see you've done well to complete a full mapset. But I think you still need a lot of work :3
  2. Timing is great.
  3. You might want to add some combo colours
  4. Holding Ctrl+Shift+a on the keyboard will bring up aimod. This will help you fix most of your general technical issues. Make sure to tick the box for distance snapping
  5. The best way I can tell you to learn mapping without people telling you to keep mapping, is to look at how other 'animappers' are able to map songs of similar genre and just copy their ideas and experiment with it. Another way to tell your mapping is good is being able to play the map yourself and enjoy it. I had a hard time reading the maps, especially when they got to insane and its simply because you didn't have enough experience in playing insane maps :/
  6. There are a lot of random NC's on the map. The NC should be used when one phrase has ended and the next begins or generally after a 4/4 has finished. It shouldn't be used for emphasis early on and when there really is a part you can emphasise, you can do it, especially on choruses.
  7. A lot of the tips I'm pointing out can be just copy pasted and I will not be bothering going through every single nitpick because you get the idea.
  8. You can also just map to the rhythm instead of the vocals early on because it is quite hard for beginners to predict what the singer is going to sing, let alone what time the player should click the circle, probably why it was quite hard to play the mapset on the easier difficulty. You can map the vocals much better on hard and insane but you need to apply consistency to your maps first or else the later difficulties you map will just break down and become unplayable.
[Easy]
  1. On easy, most of your notes should be starting from the big white tick in the timing. Generally, starting on a red tick should not be done unless the music forces you to do it. If there's any options to use the white tick over the red, do it. There also the issue of ending the slider on the big white tick which is bad for mapping easy. So please do fix that. I will address some of them in the mod
  2. Circles and high density of notes will increase difficulty by a lot. I'm sure you can tone down the difficulty to below 1.5 although this is more of a preference rather than a necessity.
  3. Ctrl+Shift+a and clean up the distance snapping. Kiai time isnt a big issue
  4. 00:04:398 (3) Hard to read due to being on a red tick
  5. 00:08:930 (4,5,6) Hard to red due to no distance snapping
  6. 00:05:805 (2) Start this slider on the big white tick to the left. It will feels much better to play.
  7. 00:07:055 (3) ^
  8. 00:08:305 (4) ^ You get the idea on using large white ticks.
  9. 00:32:055 (1)
  10. Other than that, I don't see any issues with placement except just be careful about overlaps on circles.
[Normal]
  1. Same issues are pointed out from Easy which should be applied to Normal: snapping, big white tick emphasis etc.
  2. 00:32:992 (3) Add circle here and shift 3 sliders 1/1 beat to the right. You get the idea. It should be applied to a lot of your map.
  3. I wouldn't change slider velocity as a personal opinion. I think keeping constant SV in the Easy and Normal maps is fine and is generally used in higher difficulties, gradually getting used more as preference as difficulty increases.
All of these tips can then be applied to the hard and insane map. Because playing those, they were very hard for me to read. If you are able to play your own map, you might find issues yourself and be able to clean up those errors and mistakes.

  4. On easy you most of time should map every big white tick, cuz these have a very strong impact on the song and the map itself. Thus, i recommend you to map 00:20:802 - 00:23:302 - . Not neccesary with just a circle, you can do something like thisif you wanna have a 2/1 gap (refering to 00:23:302 - on that example.)
  5. 00:40:644 (3) - i'd end it at 00:41:113 - and maybe add a circle at 00:41:425 - instead. so you cover vocals more nicely

Work more on the rhythms on every diff i''d say. The map plays cool overall tho :3
