Dead Space 2 is more of a sequel to RE4 than RE5 was.

Overly casual, yes, but they've gotten a bit better. At least more main series games are seeing releases, and Wii Motion Plus works very well.

Honestly, I don't see the problem with going to a more widespread audience as long as you keep your original targets in mind. Sure, it might have caused something like the Sega 32x back in the day, but nowadays, it's more like throwing a bone to those faithful to the system/IPs from the system.

Either they realized that people wanted ep3 and they didn't have it, so they delayed portal2 to work on it.
Or, they were about to show l4d3 and they realized that people were gonna rage.

Anyways, I was at my friends all day watching this live.
In short, for me:
  1. The whole day was just about Kinect
  2. new Hot Pursuit looks hot and interesting, if it supports coop
  3. Ubisoft had the best speaker ever, fuck all you people (he did sound like a dick, but I was rolling)
  4. Ubisoft had great teasers and trailers
tbh, that was pretty much all, nothing really caught my eyes. All looked boring and repetitive as always.
Kinect has a lot of potential just like the wii, if it gets hacked and people make custom homebrews for it.

EDIT:
OH OH OH I forgot something
ManiaPlanet looked really hot. I personally am a big fan of trackmania. I love all the custom maps it has, and it's probably one of the rare free games I actually play and enjoy (only other is probably osu!). They didn't say much about it, but personally I'm hoping for an open world open to modifications and community contents.

I hope the new 360 is RROD immune.
The new 2D multiplayer Castlevania, I hope it is not 360 exclusive, and it looks more like reused sprites and characters.

So far the best part of E3 was the RB3 reveal that happened before E3 started.

Rayman looks pretty cool.

I hope Nintendo has something interesting to show.

I started to watch E3 a little late, I just finished Microsoft Press Conference. I'll watch EA's after Nintendo has done own.
Anyway, here's some things I wanna say about this conference.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Gameplay demo had too much fighting with helicopter. I'd like to know more about infantry combat.

Metal Gear Solid Rising I don't think that looks like MGS. But I liked the scene where player cut a watermelon.

Gears of War 3 Looks like exactly like GoW1&2. I bet there's nothing new on this game.

Kinect Where's H-games?!

Forza Motorsport ??? I'd like to play this game. I love Forza 2, even though I don't know much about cars.

New Xbox 360 My Xbox 360 never had RRoD, but if this does more silent sound and less heat, I'll buy this.

The sensor bar's a plastic stick with LEDs. It's only used to figure out where you're pointing at the screen.

God, that was an awesome conference. I have no complaints, apart from not actually having seen the 3DS in action. Would probably not have the same effect over a computer screen as in real life, but I would still have liked to see it =[

They've announced four titles: Etrian Odyssey, Shin Megami Tensei (no name yet), Shin Megami Tensei: Persona and Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor. The Persona game is just the one that got me excited.
