Hi from my M4M queue

Normal

I recommend change the AR to 5 (or to 6 at least). I noticed straight away that the AR was a lot higher than most normals.
You have some DS problems in your normal so I'll focus more on other things than spacing and positioning

  • 00:04:005 (1) - For this section, how about changing the rhythm? You have a note on a blue tick which is a bit tricky for beginners to paly so how about putting a slider there.
    00:06:854 (2) - I dont think you can have 1/4' reverse sliders in normals (as it just got mentioned in one of my maps :P). Changing the 2 does change the flow of the whole section,
    00:12:360 (3) - finish at 00:12:550 and turn this into a single reverse slider.
    00:19:955 (1) - Turn this into a slider and finish at 00:20:335. Since you started following the vocals here the slider compliments the held note. Also it does give it more flow imo.
    00:31:347 (1) - Spinner doesnt work well here imo, I would follow the drums. See what other people think if you dont want to change it at first
    00:35:524 (4) - Add a circle here, not only is there a drum beat here but it makes it flow more as the gap between (3) and (1) are 1 & 1/2 distance on the timeline.
    00:43:499 to 00:46:917 - The skill required here is too much for a normal.
    01:25:841 (2,3,4,1,2) - The flow and rhythm here is really nice.


Hyper
  • 00:02:202 (2) - Delete this and replace with a circle at 00:02:297 ..? what do you think
    00:03:721 (7) - ^
    00:07:328 (5) - Turn this into 1 slider? the 5 starts on a blue tick, which is hard to read if you don't know the song beat properly. Turning it into a slider makes it easier to hit. 00:08:847 (4,5) - Its fine here because after playing the rhythm for a few seconds the beat has already been established in the persons head
    00:07:993 (2,3,4,1,2,3) - Maybe stack these? You have alot of spaced triplets throughout the song, maybe it would be better to stack some of the ones at the beginning to change it up a little. Also it makes the beginning easier so the later parts of the song become more of a challenge from a certain prospectus.
    00:13:689 (7) - Maybe turn this into a slider and finish at 00:13:879 . What do you think?
    00:16:727 (2) - ^
    00:23:752 (4) - I think this would look better if the tail and head were level.
    00:25:841 to 00:35:714 - This section is really fun to play :)
    00:35:714 (1) - the pauses do mess up the flow a bit from the previous section.

  3. Is hyper an insane or a hard diff?? Because in this part, it felt like an insane~ 00:43:499 until 00:48:056 . Just asking though because your diff is in a hard diff.

  1. Your audio bitrate is higher than 192kbps, you need to compress it so it would be between 128 till 192kbps in order for this map to get ranked
  2. I think the difficulty jump from Normal to Hyper is too far... You should make a diff between them.
  3. Use this ギブミー・シークレット for the title and "Give Me Secret" for the romanised one.
  4. This is an ending song right? maybe add "ending" to the tags.
  5. Song setup ---> design, uncheck the "Widescreen support" option (because you don't have storyboard) and "Letterbox during breaks" option.
  6. Add "(TV Size)" at the title because this is TV size ver.

[Easy]
  1. Open AiMod (ctrl+shift+A) and check the "check distance snap" option, there's one DS problem, fix it

Here are some tips for hitsounding: Add finish at wherever you can hear cymbal sound at the song and add clap at 2nd and 4th white tick. Apply this at every diff, try to be consistent.

    - Replace the note at 00:19:955(5) with a 1/2 slider
    - Make 00:20:904(3) a repeat slider
    - Replace the note at 00:22:613(1) with a 1/2 slider
    - Replace the note at 01:00:398(1) with a 1/1 slider
    - Add a note at 01:15:588
    - Add a note at 01:25:271
- Overlap at 00:14:069(1, 2). You can fix this by moving 00:14:449(2) from its current position (x296, y240) to (x298, y240)
- Overlap at 00:34:955(5, 8). You can fix this by moving 00:35:335(6, 7, 8) three units to the left
- Overlap at 00:39:132(4, 5, 6, 7). You can fix this by moving (5) two units to the left; (6) two units to the left + one unit down; and (7) five units to the left + three units down
- Not really a big deal, but you can have a little more fun with the sliders at 00:57:170(6, 7, 1)!
  • :idea:Maybe you can reverse (Ctrl + G) the (7) slider to achieve something like this?

  4. 00:06:854 (4) - So, ending a slider on a downbeat means that you can't really follow up too quickly
  5. 00:08:562 (3) - Make this a 1/2 slider to connect up to this double 00:08:847 (4,5) -
  6. 00:10:081 (1,2) - Make this a 3/4 slider with reverse. Also here 00:10:841 (3,4) - and 00:11:600 (3,4,5) - Or you could do something like this:

Nah, if I just mapped the vocals then it would just be a boring map, I try and fit in circles on drum sounds or any background music.
