Snapped some 3/2 sliders to 1/4 sliders and added notes but I kept the 3/2 sliders with reverse because I don't want to make same rhythm 1/4 slider -> note to this map not being so boring ==

I feel like your offset is slightly off. A bit too early. I found 30.930 to be a better option.
Maybe even 30.931, but I'm not a timing pro so... Maybe try it and see if this suits you better.

  1. NC to keep the Combos down


    • Since this is acctually an Easy, I don't think that combos over 4/5 should be made. They should be kept
      as short as possible. But I'm sure you know that~

    1. 01:06:501 - 01:11:644: The claps should be removed replaced. Right now they sound more distracting and
      don't really add to the song imo. I think a soft whistle would support the song much more than claps and
      it wouldn sound so cringy afterwards.
    2. 02:20:644 (1) - Remove the whistle. This song is fading out, it'd be cringy to all of the sudden hear a louder
      noise than the actual song.

[Heavy]
  1. Rhythmical Issues
    1. 00:31:784 - This is quite a major beat. The snare is really strong compared to the actual song, which
      makes skipping it seem quite uncomfortable. The Rhythm from 00:34:355 (7,8,9) should be applied here
      as well. I personally don't think that alternating between mapping vocals and the beat that often is a
      good Idea on difficulties like Easy and Normal. Just my thoughts.

  1. also some very noticeable blanket issues on areas i would think you intended to blanket.
  2. 00:39:069 (2) - distance is notably not balanced
  3. 00:44:641 (1) - blanket issue. 2nd point to (274,142) and 3rd (red) point to (228,163).
  4. 00:56:641 (2) - stack perfectly on 00:54:498 (4).
  5. 00:44:641 (1) - stack perfectly on 00:42:498 (2).

  4. 01:04:355 (7) - suggest using two 1/2 sliders (one starting here, and other at 01:04:784.) for better rhythm. you can also choose to make a 1.7x jump here.

  6. 01:22:784 (2) - 1/2, and follow with circle just like 01:07:355 (5).

  11. (Pjecoo) 00:57:498 (7) - you can jump this 1.7x if you choose to keep the slider before it
  12. 01:07:784 (6) - (if you added this circle) see if you can make a triangle (not necessarily an equilateral) formation instead of going in a line.
  13. (Pjecoo) 01:51:498 (4,5) - similar suggestion to 00:57:069 (6).
  14. 01:53:212 (1) - similar to 00:58:355 (1).

General


  1. Could you please use the highest quality of mp3 available? Your mp3 is 128kbps, which means it cuts all frequencies on 15kHz, while the highest available quality is lossless, so you are able to convert it to 192kbps, thus it is cut on +-18.5kHz instead, which then produces slightly more pleasant sound. If you want an mp3 without offset change, you might get it there.
  2. You should remove soft-sliderslide, spinnerbonus and spinnerspin, because these are exactly the same sounds as provided by default skin. Additionally, I think that soft-sliderslide should be anyway replaced with muted one provided on RC wiki. That's because the noise on sliders doesn't fit to the music as there are no sounds which sound similar or those long sounds.
  3. To be honest, the colors choice doesn't fit the background very much. The background is quite low saturation, but the colors are just shiny and some of these don't even reflect the background. Try less shiny colors and similar to the background.
  4. Add TIME to tags because it is album where the song was released.
  5. 02:24:079 - Decreasing the spinner volume here? I would not be so sure, I can surely say it should be higher than start of spinner, because if you listen to 02:24:079 - and then 02:20:651 - the start is much more quite than this point. I would add 20% on start of spinner, 40% on 02:24:079 - , 20% on 02:25:794 - , 10% on 02:26:651 - and 5% on 02:27:508 - . It is not fading instantly there is variable volume during the spinner, so it should reflect the song, not just fading-off as music doesn't matter.
  6. Did -Bakari- really want him to be in tags just for making names and putting them into a SB? If yes, it's okay, but I don't think that's that much work to be consider him as a real participant.
  7. Synthpop in tags would not hurt I think, it is one of the main genres Mr.Kitty produces.

Heavy


  1. Please, cut the .png files or tell -Bakari- but the transparency around the names is so huge, while it just increses the SB - when I cut it and saved, it decreased SB load to 1.4x, which is a big difference when no-objects is 1.33x and current with objects is 1.92x. Nevertheless, it doesn't have any usage, so why should it increase SB load for nothing?

I think the kiai is too repetitive when it goes in a circle all the time - respectively from left to right, there is only change in kiai which is on 01:13:794 (4,5,6,1,2,3) - , but that's all, I think you should put more variety there, it feels really like nothing changes and you just go the same way all the time.
  4. If you check this on 4:3 resolution, you can notice the pattern is hidden under score, I don't think that's really cool and in some cases this could be unrankable if we consider that you cannot hide slider under HP bar, that's the same case.

Light


  1. I don't see any reason why the difficulty gap is quite decent, but the settings gap is minimal - AR on light is also equal to AR on heavy diff, that's all pointless. I can recommend putting everything on 2.5 apart from circle size, keep that. Definitely decrease the AR to 3 or 2.5, you cannot just use same as higher diff. Then the settings gap should be okay, but if you kept other settings on 3, do +0.5 on all settings on normal, there cannot be that low gap between settings while the gap between the pattern difficulty is much bigger.
  2. 02:20:222 (3) - The circle is covered by accuracy on 4:3 resolution - that's the same as hidden under the HP bar, which is unrankable, I don't see any reason why should be anything covered by the UI.
  3. Some rhythms were too repetitive. I would not really recommend to spam 3/4 sliders just to cover vocals but ignore all the drums which are more important than vocals, especially on lower diffs. I think you should use some 1/2 sliders and get a rid off following vocal so much, instead map the strong drums after it, that's much better to play and fits the songs rhythm more than this.

Conclusion: Rankable
Have my star. But you should definitely fix the settings gap and maybe the rhythms on normal, they could be too difficult and they also feel quite out of the rhythm, but it's your choice anyway. Good luck~

  1. Your soft-hitwhistle.wav is almost the same with the default soft whistle, except the volume. I really think that normal whistle sounds actually fine in the map,and i cant really tell the difference of using ur hitsound or not, so i suggest deleting it
  2. I think your gap between Light and Heavy is too large, especially on the sv and ds, heavy has a really dense rhythm compare to your light and the sv is doubled what you had in light, i know you are trying to make a normal but this kinda like a hard, if you add more jumps in to your heavy diff then its a hard, ar 4 for the heavy diff is way to slow,ar6 fits it nice. i think you really need a medium diff to qualify the map under the foolish diff spread rules

  1. 00:48:024 (1,2) - i dont usually nazi, but for this one i have to tell you to fix the blanket lmao,this is way too ugly
  2. 00:59:596 (2) - i dont think the hitsound here fits the music, it just a noise imo, and i think deleting it is making the music nicer and quieter(since the music is really quiet), there is alot hitsound like this in kiai and really i dont think they are nice, also there are no such a sound like this in the bgm,so i suggest you to delete all the hitsound like this

After thinking for a while what would be the best choice, I actually ended up in almost nothing as I'm not perfect with these topics, however, I still think that the ones suggested below make a big difference with the ones you're using:

Personal comment:

I actually have to disagree with some parts in which you're following the vocals instead of the drums, that they sound stronger than the vocal itself. In lower difficulties this is not that bad, however it could be misinterpreted by the new players as they will not understand what you're trying to follow. Also, you use a lot of repetitive sliders omitting other important beats throught the map. This is only causing vocals to overshadow beats that they definitely have more impact in this song, as it's a very calm one. I'd also like to add the fact that this is more a "spamming sliders" map that then it gets completely gainsaying with the "Heavy" diff, as you use lots of 3/4 sliders and some circles in the middle of them.
Nah, this is not a flame, just a little suggestion on how you could improve the map if you are looking further to.

Heavy



General: A lot of unsnapped objects in this map, they are actually not snapped by a few ms, but they actually appear in the AiMod, so that's something to fix.
Hmmm... difficulty spread, yeah.

I think the map is really good, but there's a big difference if you compare it with the "Light" difficulty. Some parts feel quite overmapped after playing the other diff. and for it could be considered as a gap between them.

Additionally, let me suggest you the usage of AR "5,0" (or even "6,0" - but that would make a bigger difference between the diffs.) as it will definitely fit better with the current rhythm / placement of the objects.

Rhythm and Gameplay

  1. 00:56:597 (4,5,6,7) - The current flow of this part is way too different from the one you use during the whole map, you respect the 1.20x ds, but this is such a linear section.

  2. 01:44:597 (6) - Let me also suggest you a NC here in order to avoid unnecessary huge combos (it's the only one in which you are using a combo of 10 objects).

  1. I don't know the original source of this mp3, but if you could, please convert to 192 kbps as it will always sound better, unless the source isn't better of course.
