If you run out of your mousepad you have no idea what the fuck you are doing.

750 DPI

My IRL friends think I'm crazy and think that 750 is ridiculously low.

You guys can go ask steelseries, but my bet is it's this way because of how the hardware works

I should probably mention that while I do use 400 dpi I also use this resolution:

you can't really compare sensitivities just by dpi, need to consider osu resolution (vertical) and possible multipliers (usually people have 1x tho)

300 dpi and 800*600 here

You're right.

Let me try that again. 750dpi w/ 1080p.

how many miles of mousepad do you need?

2790cpi at 1080p

I used to play at 700 dpi and 1600x900, but I switched to 1100 dpi and 1280x800 windowed.

DPI/CPI is a poor choice.

Better is vertical distance traveled to go from the bottom of your screen to the top. Which is 3.5" for me. I think I win the low DPI war.

not important. Osu doesn't care about your horizontal resolution.

Not true. osu! doesn't care about one of the axes, not necessarily the horizontal

If your aspect ratio is lower than 4:3 osu will crop the vertical sides (ones on left and right of screen) off. The top and bottom will never be cropped. This is what I consider to be "osu doesn't care about your horizontal resolution".

Glad I didn't have to do any explaining at all

...

Lemme rephrase my first comment -> I was playing at 280 DPI on 1366X768 res, which roughly translates to a max of 5" movement horizontally and 3" of vertical movement. Technically I could use full area, but that would be...

Oh god... 6"x4"
