Hi, this will be my first attempt at a modpost so you'll have to excuse me if it's lacking in various ways.

General
01:48:713 - The flashing sidelights needs to be toned down, in my opinion it doesn't fit with the rest of the storyboard since this is the only piece of storyboard that is "all up your face" and it's more disturbing than it is impressive. Lower the opacity or size of the white by a moderate amount and it should be really good.

The beatmaps end too ealry. Make it so the last spinner starts spinning after the beat has died out somewhere around 03:43:580

Insane
00:48:095 (1,2,3) - This isn't really that big of a deal but it's something I would like to see changed. It's kind of an annoying pattern that I feel doesn't fit with a slow part for a 4.13 difficulty map.

03:34:783 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11) - There needs to be more spacing between each triplet, it's hard to read because of the cluster. Hard to read patterns doesn't seem to be and shouldn't be a theme to this difficulty.

Not sure what I think about the circle size. Smaller circle sizes more often than not makes a map harder than its star rating and this might be frustrating or unappealing for newer players.

Easy
01:13:595 (1,1,1) - Make these into a single slider. It sounds and feels more in sync with the music, also end the spinner at the green line. If you're worried that it'll be too hard you can start the slider coming after the spinner closer to the center of the screen to make it easier.

After every spinner but the first there's a giant empty space between the spinner and coming circle and it doesn't fit well with the music in my opinion. Either fill up the empty space(putting the circle/slider closer to the middle after the end of a spinner makes it easier) or remove the spinners. If you find another solution that works well you can just do that.(Or ignore this completely rofl)

03:15:845 (3) - This reverse slider takes block view of this circle 03:17:720 (2) - I highly advise you to change this, anyway is fine as long as it doesn't obstruct the view of coming circles.

Responding to your mod request in #modreqs.

General:
  1. Personally, I would disable “Enable countdown”. Not really a reason; it’s just that most beatmaps these days doesn’t have this option enabled.
  2. Your Easy and Normal has the same slider velocity which is a bit weird. I suggest you lower the SV of the Easy to maybe 0.80 (since a SV of 1.00 for an Easy is maybe a bit too fast imo) and keep the SV of the Normal at 1.00.
  3. The correct resolution for a background is 1366X768. Sounds silly, but it’s better to make sure everything in your mapset is perfect.
  4. Add these soundfiles into your song’s folder to get rid of that annoying sliderslide sound:

    The files are exactly the same, the filenames are just different to accommodate the soft, normal and drum hitsounds that you used.
  5. I suggest you find an expert storyboarder or someone that’s great at modding storyboards to just check your storyboard, cuz that’s something that I can’t do and I think the storyboard will require fixing.
  6. Perhaps you should think about placing your storyboard files into a separate folder and name it “SB”.

Easy:
  1. The distance spacing that you used in this diff is too small. As you can see, the objects are touching each other and it looks rather messy and crammed. Your current distance spacing is 0.8 but I suggest you use a distance spacing of 1.0.
  2. 01:25:595 – Just make sure there is one green line on this point. Duplicated green lines are not allowed.
  3. The comboing (new combos) of this diff can be improved. Imo, you should try to not let the number of combos reach higher than 7. I’ll give you an example of the combo pattern that I would follow:
    00:16:595 (4) – New combo
    00:19:220 (1) – Remove new combo
    00:19:595 (2) – New combo
    00:22:970 (5) – New combo
    00:25:220 (1) – Remove new combo
    00:25:595 (2) – New combo
    00:28:595 (5) – New combo
    00:29:345 (1) – Remove new combo
    00:31:595 (5) – New combo
    00:34:970 (8) – New combo
    And so on. (Hopefully you catch on to the pattern that I follow)
  4. 00:24:470 (7) – I don’t think this kind of repeat slider is really unrankable but it’s not adviseable. You should always try and keep your easiest diff as easy as possible and a rhythm like that can be quite tricky for beginners. Perhaps you can try a rhythm like this one:
    I just changed that repetitive slider into two circles.
  5. 00:36:095 (10) –Not a very attractive slider at all. If you feel you could do with some assistance on how to make nice sliders, try this forum: https://osu.ppy.sh/forum/t/37194
  6. 00:37:595 (1) -^
  7. 00:37:595 (1,2,1,2) –Your combos here aren’t consistent with your combos here: 00:49:595 (1,1,1,1) – Make sure they are the same. It’s weird if you use different combo patterns in every section for the same rhythm. Consistency in comboing is very important.
  8. 00:58:595 (1) –Hmm, this spinner is pretty short for an easy diff. I suggest you remove this circle: 01:01:595 (1) – and just lengthen your spinner till it’s here: 01:01:595 –
  9. 01:19:595 (1,1) –Hmm, the reaction time between the spinner and the next note is too short. Remember that it’s important that the player has enough time to recover before playing again. For beginners, a short reaction time would be uncomfortable. Perhaps you can remove the spinner and map that area out by placing a long slider there.
  10. 01:23:345 – Referring to the storyboard now: Is it just me, or does the flashing of the red happen too quickly here?
  11. 01:30:845 (5) – Refer to my explanation here: 00:24:470 (7) – There are other places where you used those repetitive sliders but I’m not going to point them all out.
  12. 01:36:470 (8,9,2) – Be careful of unnecessary overlapping here.
  13. 01:40:595 (4,1) - ^, by overlapping I mean notes that overlap previous notes and that’s not spread out nicely across the entire grid (that’s also why the correct distance spacing is so important.)
  14. 02:12:095 (9) – Uhrrr, not a good slidershape idea.
  15. 02:15:095 (1,3) – Again, the unnecessary overlap.
  16. 02:25:220 (1) –Stack this note on 02:23:720 (6) – I usually like it when the next note after a pause is stacked on the previous note. It just looks tidier.
  17. 02:25:595 (2,3,4,5,6) – The notes here feel so crammed into one little space. Try spacing the notes out a bit more to avoid overlaps and chaos.
  18. 02:36:283 (1) – Very short spinner. 0-0 Not advised. Rather remove it and map that area out instead.
  19. 02:49:595 – I suggest you start mapping here again. It’s weird that you didn’t since it’s such a nice beat and possible to place notes there. The current break there is also very, very long.

Overall, the main problem is your distance spacing in this diff. If you fix that, this diff will already look 100 times better. Your rhythm patterns look decent, but your comboing still requires a lot of work. I did drop an example, but I’m not sure if that’ll be enough to fix it. Just remember that consistency in placing combos is key and that you should try and place new combos there where a strong beat starts again. I gave you a link to a slider-forum which will guide you and show you excellent slidershapes that you can use in your mapset. Your hitsounding isn’t bad but I noticed that you didn’t use any custom hitsounds. Imo, custom hitsounds will sound excellent with certain beats in this song. Like here: 00:38:345 - 00:39:845 - 00:41:345 - 00:42:845 - 00:44:345 - 00:47:345 - 00:48:845 –
There are other places as well of course. I usually scan through other songs’ folders and search for nice hitsounds that will fit with my song best.

I just scanned through your other diffs: In the Normal, you should consider changing your circle size to 3 for a more balanced diff spread and also cuz your circle size is just currently too small imo.
00:23:720 (6,1,3) – Avoid unnecessary overlapping in your Normal too. It looks untidy and messy.

The spacings in your Hard are very inconsistent. Even though it’s a Hard and distance spacing is not really required, the diff should still be organized and not plagued with random jumps everywhere. What I usually do is use the same distance spacing and then just place small jumps at places in the music where a jump is hinted. In this case you can place small jumps here:
00:16:595 (1) –
00:17:908 (1) –
00:19:595 (3) –
00:20:720 (1) –
00:25:595 (1) –
And so on.

The hardest diff (Insane) is usually your own mapping style and can’t really be influenced by certain rules but I guess I can just point out that you should be careful of using too many random jumps (almost like in the Hard, except the jumps in this diff are bigger). Even though it’s an Insane, the song should still hint a possible jump and the jump must feel natural and not forced. My best suggestion would be that you take a look at recently ranked Insanes and catch a few tips. That’s how I improved my Insane-mapping by seeing how other mappers mapped theirs.

Update 2.0 :D


Well.... It was hard work but I finally upgraded all difficulties

sometimes I had to find some compromises on the latest mods but I think this map is definitely better now :)
In the "Nightcore" diff I've tried to consider the most of the trippletts the song is composed of so it gets a bit harder :lol:
additionally I've added costume hitsounds :) and edited the storyboard :D

Hopefully you'll like my new mapset ^-^

The old "Insane" diff was in my eyes not really accurate so I remapped it :) please take a look at the "Nightcore" diff but it's a bit harder than the former "Insane" ;)

You can use the approach circles to help guide you when you blanket sliders and circles. Just match up the edge of the slider with the line of the approach circle. ;D
Also, this is a good read to know where and when to place stuff and combos
Generally, it's better to map the background drum beats or other instruments rather vocals since vocals can provide strange and awkward timings and note placements
