I don't even know how you can singletap with anything but index
Index but I can singletap just as well with my Middle, I just can't triple.

Middle, how can you use your pointer finger? My hands would bleed after one map.
I can singletap with both index and middle fingers.

ok, so i'm not the only one using the middle 
It doesn't make much of a difference for me and I use both index and middle fingers. But if there are some very quick singles I mostly use middle one since it's easier for me to keep up with higher bpm (also hurts less when I use it to hit the keyboard like maniac 
).

I use my _Index finger while praying to be a good HR player.
On a serious note, i can keep my balance on both. But i can play more consistent with my index even though using my index too often makes it kinda itchy. My middle is stronger, but it feels weird and i only use it while i was kinda tired.
