The fights in UWB rely way too much on flashing and streaks of colour and this harms the integrity of what a good fight scene should be about. They would be better if they didn't make everyone into a light show.

Quite true but I enjoyed them never the less. OreGairu has nice art.

There's much actually. I can say KyoAni's art is getting better these years.

A/Z and Kakumeiki Valvrave are mecha animes with best mechanic details art, in my opinion.

Coppelion and K has its best for the detailed backgrounds, lighting and the attractive colorings ( yet sometimes it gets too vibrant )

If you're looking for "beautiful" anime art, I'd recommend for Nerawareta Gakuen. Nerawareta Gakuen is in my top list for their best art.
