I think you should change the heart sliders into a spinner imo, i feel like its too long of a slider and a spinner would be perfect place for it. But overall i think its a fun song, granted im not the best player out there but, still a great. There are other iffy parts towards the ending as well.

I've tried going both ways with it, but the spinner felt funny with the vocals carrying. I wanted the spinners to work, but they just didn't feel right. ;_;

  • Reduce the volume everywhere by ~20%, it's really too loud
    I dont know if you're using Compose -> Convert slider to stream but try to abuse it, also listen to the song to know where you should increase SV in the stream, for example:
    This can make some really good looking streams, which are also very fun to play

    00:17:103 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16,1) - I think this stream isn't really justified, I know there's a weird sound behind in 1/8 but a spinner or just ignoring it would fit better imo
    00:19:353 (5,6) - You have quite a lot of energy coming from the jumps just before, and this DS just kinda breaks it, plus you could make a nice circular flow with by just ctrl+g (5) or (6). Here's a suggestion:
    As you can see, place (5) so it makes a blanket with 00:20:103 (1) - , improve the blanket, ctrl+g it, and do the same with (6) and (4), just don't ctrl+g this time

00:47:103 (1,2,3) - You can improve this pattern by using 'rotate by'(ctrl+shift+r). First duplicate 00:47:103 (1) then rotate it by 120. repeat for (3). You can make shapes by using this equation (360 / # of sides), and rotating objects by the number you get. Here is a video.

00:33:978 to 00:42:228 - For this slow part I suggest using distance snap since the spacing you used makes it quite confusing.

00:57:603 (1) - If this is supposed to be a blanket tidy it up a bit.

02:59:103 (1) - Same as above

03:31:353 (4) - 03:32:853 (5) - 03:34:353 (4) - You use these to emphasize the snare, but on 03:35:853 (5) - there is no such sound.

04:12:415 (15,16,1,2,3,4) - This is pretty ridiculous since the music doesn't change whatsoever. It's just overmapping and trying to make the map harder instead of following the music.

There are lots of beats unmapped for no reason, which makes the flow really weird at some places. For example:
02:52:353 - 01:28:540 - 03:11:290 The sound on these ticks is exactly the same as the ones you've mapped, but you left them unmapped for no reason.

Also generally the spacing often changes randomly with no correlation to the music.

Normal


Can't mod Normal since it has too many AiMod errors. + You might want to make it a tad bit easier because the game recognizes it as a hard.

Make it to HP6 or 5.5 or around the neighbor instead of 5

Insane

01:41:494 to 01:41:681- the disconnected stream fits with the flow of the song but i'm not sure for some players
03:17:681 to 03:18:619- the first part of the deathstream is too close(from 1 to 9) (also it would be also confusing if you overlay in the same note all over for 9 beat) , consider spreading it a little bit
01:07:353 - timing is off the beat

Thank you! Admittedly I'm skipping over the Hard and Normal for now because I still haven't actually mapped them to the new offset yet the way I want to. :? Admittedly I don't like re-using the long sliders either (the one was an attempt at a butterfly that didn't go too well :| ), but there's really nothing else to do during that timing section. Spinners feel really awkward during it in my opinion. The same sort of logic applies to where I'm stuck reusing the longer streams. The stream at 03:17:681 was intentionally made more closer than the rest of it-- I think it's fun to have a stream that kickstarts like that.

And as for the timing points, oops. I thought I had them all fixed :o

Ugh, timing points always. I was super lazy with my Hard diff so it's probably the worst :?
A lot of the stuff in Distorted Mirror was a matter of personal aesthetic, but I agree some of them needed to be tweaked.

You need to lower the difficulty in Normal difficult because The lowest difficulty must be below 2.0 stars according to the rules. if not, it will be hard to get this map ranked

Note that whatever I say is my own opinion so you do not have to follow everything I say. I will not mod the last difficulty as my speed has gone down the drain.

General
1) 04:00:619 No kiai. This here is a chorus, so I would assume adding kiai here would make sense.

Normal
1) 00:11:494 (1,2) - Not aligned properly. Shift 2 to (56, 328)

2) 00:19:369 (3) - Why not make this slider a smooth curve? https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/4342701 The advantage of the new shape is that 00:19:369 (3,1,2,3) looks a lot better compared to before; the slider ended too close to note 2 which looked bad in my opinion.

3) 00:24:244 (4) - No whistle in the sliderbody? I assume this was an oversight.

4) 00:26:119 (1,2,3) - These notes have different distances so it looks quite weird. And note 2 has some overlap with 00:25:369 (2) which does not look good.

5) 00:29:119 (1,2,3) - Align this properly.
- Note 2: Shift to (456,158)

6) 01:16:744 (3,1) - Considering the previous notes, this here seems like bad flow, and the overlap makes it look worse imo.

Other parts of the map may have the same issues I have mentioned above. In terms of rhythm, this map is very good. I like this difficulty.

2) 01:06:619 (1,2) - I am curious as to why note 2 is weirdly placed after note 1?

3) 01:08:119 (1,1) - Silence the sliderends to emphasize the vocals.

Hitsounding
Hitsounding feels different across the diffs. I would just use the hitsounds copier tool to copy the hitsounds from one diff to another, to have consistent histounds.

Final thoughts
While the beatmap set is rhythmically fine, the aesthetics are a different story. I did like the hard difficulty though.
