Many people will tell you that the game feels like shit at 60 fps or even 120 or 240 etc. I normally run at ~1000-1200fps, and I can tell instantly when my game drops to ~400-600 as an effect of the storyboard or vid etc, it feels fucking laggy as shit. I used to 120 fps then I accidentally hit the button and had it at 240 fps for awhile. Didn't go back. I refuse to change to unlimited because fuck my computer if it decides to lag and vary the framerate wildly.
it can be noticed, but not visually, unless some weird shit happens where they drop frames when they limit or theyre limiting to 60fps on a 144hz monitor or something.

i notice a huge difference in input latency when dropping frames from 1337 down to 240, it's probably easier to tell with a 120hz/144hz monitor
i go crasy when my fps drops down to 120 in csgo because input lag is gg. visually, you can't really see it being different, but you can feel it
