2015-03-16 18:40 Desperate-kun: no i mean
2015-03-16 18:40 Keada: ohh
2015-03-16 18:40 Keada: how long ive mapped xD
2015-03-16 18:40 Desperate-kun: yeah
2015-03-16 18:40 Keada: ACTION facepalms*
2015-03-16 18:40 Keada: like a month ish yeah owo
2015-03-16 18:40 Desperate-kun: oh wow
2015-03-16 18:40 Desperate-kun: that's really good
2015-03-16 18:40 Keada: is it :D
2015-03-16 18:40 Desperate-kun: of course it's far from being perfect or anything but
2015-03-16 18:40 Desperate-kun: better than most people map after 1 month for sure
2015-03-16 18:40 Keada: thats true >.<
2015-03-16 18:41 Keada: aww :D
2015-03-16 18:41 Desperate-kun: okay, to give some actual feedback
2015-03-16 18:41 Desperate-kun: set some custom combo colors
2015-03-16 18:41 Desperate-kun: fitting to the background picture
2015-03-16 18:41 Keada: yeah :D
2015-03-16 18:42 Desperate-kun: you know how to do that?
2015-03-16 18:42 Keada: I think so owo
2015-03-16 18:42 Desperate-kun: okay
2015-03-16 18:42 Keada: in here right http://puu.sh/gCTez/fb18f5178e.png
2015-03-16 18:42 Desperate-kun: yes
2015-03-16 18:42 Desperate-kun: and also disable the countdown
2015-03-16 18:42 Desperate-kun: because it doesn't play
2015-03-16 18:42 Desperate-kun: since the map starts relatively at the beginning of the mp3
2015-03-16 18:42 Keada: oh xD I forgot :D
2015-03-16 18:43 Keada: yeah
2015-03-16 18:43 Desperate-kun: 00:09:753 (3,4,5,6) -
2015-03-16 18:43 Desperate-kun: if you listen closely to the music
2015-03-16 18:43 Desperate-kun: these must be snapped to 1/3
2015-03-16 18:44 Desperate-kun: like this for example:
2015-03-16 18:44 Desperate-kun: http://puu.sh/gCTnq/4bb87fc17a.jpg
2015-03-16 18:44 Desperate-kun: it will also get the player prepared for the 1/3-tapping afterwards 00:10:435 (1,2,3,1,2,3) - which is a good thing
2015-03-16 18:45 Desperate-kun: to make it more readable
2015-03-16 18:46 Keada: oooh :D
2015-03-16 18:46 Keada: yeah
2015-03-16 18:46 Keada: that fitted really well :D
2015-03-16 18:46 Desperate-kun: something is wrong about the red timing sections
2015-03-16 18:46 Desperate-kun: 1. Offset: 890ms BPM: 176,00
2015-03-16 18:46 Desperate-kun: oops
2015-03-16 18:46 Desperate-kun: 00:45:781 -
2015-03-16 18:46 Desperate-kun: here should be a red line
2015-03-16 18:47 Desperate-kun: with same bpm
2015-03-16 18:47 Desperate-kun: but 6/4 measure
2015-03-16 18:47 Desperate-kun: or wait
2015-03-16 18:47 Keada: which one huh? o-p
2015-03-16 18:47 Desperate-kun: at 00:45:781 -
2015-03-16 18:47 Desperate-kun: make a red line
2015-03-16 18:47 Keada: 166 bpm red line?
2015-03-16 18:47 Desperate-kun: and then do this:
2015-03-16 18:47 Desperate-kun: yes
2015-03-16 18:48 Keada: aight :D
2015-03-16 18:48 Desperate-kun: wait
2015-03-16 18:48 Desperate-kun: if you create the timing sectino you will see this:
2015-03-16 18:48 Desperate-kun: http://puu.sh/gCTEu/b05c841a3f.png
2015-03-16 18:48 Desperate-kun: you need to put 6/4 there
2015-03-16 18:48 Keada: yeah did that now ^^
2015-03-16 18:48 Desperate-kun: after you did that
2015-03-16 18:48 Desperate-kun: 00:52:287 - delete this red line
2015-03-16 18:48 Desperate-kun: and move it here 00:47:949 -
2015-03-16 18:49 Desperate-kun: also, it will mess up your slider velocity multipliers
2015-03-16 18:49 Desperate-kun: but they are already messed up
2015-03-16 18:49 Desperate-kun: see:
2015-03-16 18:49 Desperate-kun: 00:51:925 -
2015-03-16 18:49 Desperate-kun: this slider is much faster than 00:52:287 -
2015-03-16 18:49 Desperate-kun: i don't think it's intentional
2015-03-16 18:49 Keada: oh
2015-03-16 18:50 Desperate-kun: you just forgot to add another green line to change the slider velocity
2015-03-16 18:50 Desperate-kun: so if you moved the red line to 00:49:214 - place a 1.5x slider velocity section above it
2015-03-16 18:50 Keada: oh
2015-03-16 18:50 Desperate-kun: and remap the section starting at 00:52:287 -
2015-03-16 18:50 Desperate-kun: i hope you can understand
2015-03-16 18:51 Keada: yeha I do
2015-03-16 18:51 Keada: Just need to resnap then i guess?
2015-03-16 18:51 Desperate-kun: yeah but the sliders will be much longe
2015-03-16 18:51 Keada: and then add combo colours ;D
2015-03-16 18:52 Desperate-kun: so the patterns will be weird
2015-03-16 18:52 Desperate-kun: let me continue first
2015-03-16 18:52 Keada: yeah
2015-03-16 18:52 Keada: sure
2015-03-16 18:52 Keada: ^^
2015-03-16 18:52 Desperate-kun: 01:46:142 (7) -
2015-03-16 18:52 Desperate-kun: this slider's start
2015-03-16 18:52 Desperate-kun: must be snapped to 1/8
2015-03-16 18:52 Desperate-kun: it's a bit complicated
2015-03-16 18:52 Desperate-kun: http://puu.sh/gCU05/9982e05586.jpg
2015-03-16 18:52 Keada: oh
2015-03-16 18:52 Desperate-kun: you can listen at 25% and will hear it ^^
2015-03-16 18:53 Keada: http://puu.sh/gCU23/e4fa933219.jpg
2015-03-16 18:53 Keada: aight
2015-03-16 18:53 Desperate-kun: yea
2015-03-16 18:54 Desperate-kun: 02:16:232 (1) -
2015-03-16 18:54 Desperate-kun: there is no 1/8 in the music here
2015-03-16 18:54 Desperate-kun: this slider should be 1/4 similar to 02:19:123 (3) -
2015-03-16 18:54 Desperate-kun: 02:27:798 (4) - same
2015-03-16 18:55 Keada: oh aight
2015-03-16 18:55 Desperate-kun: 03:20:208 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - sadly these are on the wrong snap too
2015-03-16 18:55 Desperate-kun: it must be 1/6
2015-03-16 18:56 Desperate-kun: to make it simple to tap maybe do this:
2015-03-16 18:56 Desperate-kun: http://puu.sh/gCUfZ/108723c3a3.jpg
2015-03-16 18:57 Desperate-kun: 03:31:774 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - these are correct though
2015-03-16 18:57 Desperate-kun: 03:42:256 (3) - this should be 1/4
2015-03-16 18:58 Desperate-kun: 04:38:641 (9) - same
2015-03-16 18:59 Keada: http://puu.sh/gCUrK/240293ed53.jpg fixed now
2015-03-16 18:59 Desperate-kun: cool
2015-03-16 18:59 Desperate-kun: tell me when you are done fixing so i can continue
2015-03-16 19:00 Keada: yeah
2015-03-16 19:00 Keada: :D
2015-03-16 19:01 Keada: aight done again
2015-03-16 19:01 Keada: ^^
2015-03-16 19:02 Desperate-kun: cool
2015-03-16 19:02 Desperate-kun: now i need to explain something
2015-03-16 19:02 Desperate-kun: you know the difference between a clickable object, like circle or slider head, and unclickable object, like slider tail?
2015-03-16 19:03 Desperate-kun: when the player clicks, it gives more stress to the note than when you just release the key
2015-03-16 19:03 Keada: I thiiiink so o-o
2015-03-16 19:03 Desperate-kun: that's why important beats should always be clickable
2015-03-16 19:03 Keada: yeah
2015-03-16 19:03 Desperate-kun: and in most music, the white ticks are very important, then the red ticks, then the blue ticks etc (in most of the cases)
2015-03-16 19:03 Desperate-kun: that's why usually you start 1/2 sliders at white and not at red ticks
2015-03-16 19:04 Desperate-kun: and 1/4 sliders usually start at white/red ticks instead of blue ticks
2015-03-16 19:04 Desperate-kun: now here 04:54:364 (5,6,1) -
2015-03-16 19:04 Desperate-kun: 04:54:364 (5) - is alright
2015-03-16 19:04 Desperate-kun: but 04:54:726 (6) - ends at the big white tick
2015-03-16 19:04 Desperate-kun: that doesn't give enough stress to this beat
2015-03-16 19:04 Desperate-kun: and also, the player needs to start clicking the stream at the blue tick which feels a bit weird
2015-03-16 19:05 Desperate-kun: it would be better to move the two sliders 1/2 backwards and start the stream on the big white tick
2015-03-16 19:05 Desperate-kun: like this:
2015-03-16 19:05 Keada: ooh so its better with two circles instead of that slider then
2015-03-16 19:05 Desperate-kun: yeah or that
2015-03-16 19:05 Desperate-kun: but even better it would be like this
2015-03-16 19:05 Desperate-kun: http://puu.sh/gCUWd/abdf3386dd.jpg
2015-03-16 19:06 Desperate-kun: wait a moment, i'm going to put my pizza in the furnace~
2015-03-16 19:07 Keada: aight ^^
2015-03-16 19:07 Keada: fixed so :D
2015-03-16 19:08 Desperate-kun: okay back
2015-03-16 19:09 Desperate-kun: 05:07:196 (1,2,3,4) - if you listen closely here
2015-03-16 19:09 Desperate-kun: you will notice the guitar has louder sounds at 05:07:196 - 05:07:467 - and 05:07:738 -
2015-03-16 19:09 Desperate-kun: so it makes sense to arrange the notes in groups of 3 here:
2015-03-16 19:10 Desperate-kun: http://puu.sh/gCVid/8dcfdd7274.jpg
2015-03-16 19:10 Desperate-kun: or if you want like this is good too:
2015-03-16 19:10 Desperate-kun: http://puu.sh/gCVmk/66cec19468.jpg
2015-03-16 19:11 Keada: what about this btw? http://puu.sh/gCVro/39ecea9255.jpg just a suggestion cause of the drums so
2015-03-16 19:13 Desperate-kun: is also possible
2015-03-16 19:13 Desperate-kun: 05:18:943 (1) - must be snapped to 1/6: http://puu.sh/gCVpY/deeace65a1.jpg
2015-03-16 19:13 Keada: yeah
2015-03-16 19:14 Keada: aight fixed
2015-03-16 19:14 Desperate-kun: 05:27:436 (1,2,3,4) - this pattern played weird.. it doesn't really fit in
2015-03-16 19:14 Desperate-kun: the reason is that the player needs to reduce movement speed a lot
2015-03-16 19:15 Desperate-kun: you need to move half as fast here than before
2015-03-16 19:15 Keada: hmm yeah now that I think of it thats true
2015-03-16 19:15 Desperate-kun: like.. this pattern works in some rare cases
2015-03-16 19:15 Desperate-kun: but here not really
2015-03-16 19:15 Desperate-kun: in between of a long stream
2015-03-16 19:16 Keada: oh
2015-03-16 19:16 Keada: yeah
2015-03-16 19:16 Keada: http://puu.sh/gCVLz/13bfd4c307.jpg
2015-03-16 19:16 Keada: this a good idea?
2015-03-16 19:16 Desperate-kun: hmm looks a bit cramped
2015-03-16 19:16 Keada: yeah
2015-03-16 19:16 Keada: more spaced then
2015-03-16 19:17 Desperate-kun: movement seems alright yea
2015-03-16 19:17 Keada: http://puu.sh/gCVSQ/84ef79c953.jpg
2015-03-16 19:17 Keada: there
2015-03-16 19:17 Keada: maybee
2015-03-16 19:17 Desperate-kun: seems better ^^
2015-03-16 19:17 Keada: nice :3
2015-03-16 19:17 Desperate-kun: okay now let me clear up the red lines
2015-03-16 19:17 Desperate-kun: in the rest of the song
2015-03-16 19:17 Desperate-kun: the metronome is still often wrong
2015-03-16 19:18 Keada: yeah
2015-03-16 19:18 Keada: aight
2015-03-16 19:18 Desperate-kun: 02:42:617 -
2015-03-16 19:18 Keada: my friend timed it for me so
2015-03-16 19:18 Desperate-kun: here red line
2015-03-16 19:18 Keada: i suck at timing
2015-03-16 19:18 Desperate-kun: with 6/4 measure
2015-03-16 19:18 Keada: aight
2015-03-16 19:18 Desperate-kun: don't forget to place the green line again
2015-03-16 19:18 Desperate-kun: with 1.2x sv
2015-03-16 19:18 Desperate-kun: 02:44:786 - here red line with 4/4 measure
2015-03-16 19:18 Desperate-kun: btw, aleast your friend got the bpm and offsets right, that's great
2015-03-16 19:18 Desperate-kun: the rest only matters for taiko
2015-03-16 19:19 Desperate-kun: and other converts
2015-03-16 19:19 Desperate-kun: but it still needs to be correct
2015-03-16 19:19 Keada: yeah :D
2015-03-16 19:19 Desperate-kun: but all we are doing is changing the positions of the big white ticks
2015-03-16 19:19 Desperate-kun: 03:20:931 - this red line can be removed then
2015-03-16 19:20 Keada: aight done
2015-03-16 19:20 Keada: ^^
2015-03-16 19:22 Desperate-kun: alright, the ones at the end are correct
2015-03-16 19:22 Desperate-kun: okay so now we cleared up timing and rhythms hehe
2015-03-16 19:22 Keada: thats nice :D
2015-03-16 19:22 Desperate-kun: the map was quite good with those aspects already
2015-03-16 19:22 Keada: oh o-o
2015-03-16 19:22 Keada: :D
2015-03-16 19:22 Desperate-kun: placements are also quite good already but need more finetuning
2015-03-16 19:23 Desperate-kun: i didn't check carefully now but your stream spacings seem to make sense
2015-03-16 19:23 Keada: yeah :3
2015-03-16 19:23 Desperate-kun: and are consistent, that's good
2015-03-16 19:23 Keada: aight
2015-03-16 19:23 Desperate-kun: what this map needs now is a lot of mods
2015-03-16 19:23 Keada: yehp
2015-03-16 19:23 Desperate-kun: to get more clean before it can get ranked
2015-03-16 19:24 Desperate-kun: but please don't give up on it!
2015-03-16 19:24 Desperate-kun: it's so much better than most first maps going for rank
2015-03-16 19:24 Keada: only to find that tho D: but like they say ''NEVER GIVE UP'' :D
2015-03-16 19:24 Desperate-kun: hehe

We cleaned up mainly rhythm and metronome changes! This map has a lot of potential, keep it up! :3

2015-03-16 18:32 Desperate-kun: altho i suck lol
2015-03-16 18:34 Desperate-kun: damn
2015-03-16 18:34 Desperate-kun: i'm missing the stamina for streams
2015-03-16 18:34 Keada: D:
2015-03-16 18:34 Keada: yeah theyre alot of streams so xD
2015-03-16 18:35 Desperate-kun: grrrrrrrr
2015-03-16 18:35 Keada: :D
2015-03-16 18:39 Desperate-kun: hmm it's quite good
2015-03-16 18:39 Keada: o-o
2015-03-16 18:39 Keada: :D
2015-03-16 18:39 Desperate-kun: how long do you map?
2015-03-16 18:39 Keada: yay <3
2015-03-16 18:39 Desperate-kun: only one month? o.o
2015-03-16 18:39 Desperate-kun: or longer
2015-03-16 18:40 Keada: I mapped for 7-8 hours o-o
2015-03-16 18:40 Desperate-kun: no i mean
2015-03-16 18:40 Keada: ohh
2015-03-16 18:40 Keada: how long ive mapped xD
2015-03-16 18:40 Desperate-kun: yeah
2015-03-16 18:40 Keada: ACTION facepalms*
2015-03-16 18:40 Keada: like a month ish yeah owo
2015-03-16 18:40 Desperate-kun: oh wow
2015-03-16 18:40 Desperate-kun: that's really good
2015-03-16 18:40 Keada: is it :D
2015-03-16 18:40 Desperate-kun: of course it's far from being perfect or anything but
2015-03-16 18:40 Desperate-kun: better than most people map after 1 month for sure
2015-03-16 18:40 Keada: thats true >.<
2015-03-16 18:41 Keada: aww :D
2015-03-16 18:41 Desperate-kun: okay, to give some actual feedback
2015-03-16 18:41 Desperate-kun: set some custom combo colors
2015-03-16 18:41 Desperate-kun: fitting to the background picture
2015-03-16 18:41 Keada: yeah :D
2015-03-16 18:42 Desperate-kun: you know how to do that?
2015-03-16 18:42 Keada: I think so owo
2015-03-16 18:42 Desperate-kun: okay
2015-03-16 18:42 Keada: in here right http://puu.sh/gCTez/fb18f5178e.png
2015-03-16 18:42 Desperate-kun: yes
2015-03-16 18:42 Desperate-kun: and also disable the countdown
2015-03-16 18:42 Desperate-kun: because it doesn't play
2015-03-16 18:42 Desperate-kun: since the map starts relatively at the beginning of the mp3
2015-03-16 18:42 Keada: oh xD I forgot :D
2015-03-16 18:43 Keada: yeah
2015-03-16 18:43 Desperate-kun: 00:09:753 (3,4,5,6) -
2015-03-16 18:43 Desperate-kun: if you listen closely to the music
2015-03-16 18:43 Desperate-kun: these must be snapped to 1/3
2015-03-16 18:44 Desperate-kun: like this for example:
2015-03-16 18:44 Desperate-kun: http://puu.sh/gCTnq/4bb87fc17a.jpg
2015-03-16 18:44 Desperate-kun: it will also get the player prepared for the 1/3-tapping afterwards 00:10:435 (1,2,3,1,2,3) - which is a good thing
2015-03-16 18:45 Desperate-kun: to make it more readable
2015-03-16 18:46 Keada: oooh :D
2015-03-16 18:46 Keada: yeah
2015-03-16 18:46 Keada: that fitted really well :D
2015-03-16 18:46 Desperate-kun: something is wrong about the red timing sections
2015-03-16 18:46 Desperate-kun: 1. Offset: 890ms BPM: 176,00
2015-03-16 18:46 Desperate-kun: oops
2015-03-16 18:46 Desperate-kun: 00:45:781 -
2015-03-16 18:46 Desperate-kun: here should be a red line
2015-03-16 18:47 Desperate-kun: with same bpm
2015-03-16 18:47 Desperate-kun: but 6/4 measure
2015-03-16 18:47 Desperate-kun: or wait
2015-03-16 18:47 Keada: which one huh? o-p
2015-03-16 18:47 Desperate-kun: at 00:45:781 -
2015-03-16 18:47 Desperate-kun: make a red line
2015-03-16 18:47 Keada: 166 bpm red line?
2015-03-16 18:47 Desperate-kun: and then do this:
2015-03-16 18:47 Desperate-kun: yes
2015-03-16 18:48 Keada: aight :D
2015-03-16 18:48 Desperate-kun: wait
2015-03-16 18:48 Desperate-kun: if you create the timing sectino you will see this:
2015-03-16 18:48 Desperate-kun: http://puu.sh/gCTEu/b05c841a3f.png
2015-03-16 18:48 Desperate-kun: you need to put 6/4 there
2015-03-16 18:48 Keada: yeah did that now ^^
2015-03-16 18:48 Desperate-kun: after you did that
2015-03-16 18:48 Desperate-kun: 00:52:287 - delete this red line
2015-03-16 18:48 Desperate-kun: and move it here 00:47:949 -
2015-03-16 18:49 Desperate-kun: also, it will mess up your slider velocity multipliers
2015-03-16 18:49 Desperate-kun: but they are already messed up
2015-03-16 18:49 Desperate-kun: see:
2015-03-16 18:49 Desperate-kun: 00:51:925 -
2015-03-16 18:49 Desperate-kun: this slider is much faster than 00:52:287 -
2015-03-16 18:49 Desperate-kun: i don't think it's intentional
2015-03-16 18:49 Keada: oh
2015-03-16 18:50 Desperate-kun: you just forgot to add another green line to change the slider velocity
2015-03-16 18:50 Desperate-kun: so if you moved the red line to 00:49:214 - place a 1.5x slider velocity section above it
2015-03-16 18:50 Keada: oh
2015-03-16 18:50 Desperate-kun: and remap the section starting at 00:52:287 -
2015-03-16 18:50 Desperate-kun: i hope you can understand
2015-03-16 18:51 Keada: yeha I do
2015-03-16 18:51 Keada: Just need to resnap then i guess?
2015-03-16 18:51 Desperate-kun: yeah but the sliders will be much longe
2015-03-16 18:51 Keada: and then add combo colours ;D
2015-03-16 18:52 Desperate-kun: so the patterns will be weird
2015-03-16 18:52 Desperate-kun: let me continue first
2015-03-16 18:52 Keada: yeah
2015-03-16 18:52 Keada: sure
2015-03-16 18:52 Keada: ^^
2015-03-16 18:52 Desperate-kun: 01:46:142 (7) -
2015-03-16 18:52 Desperate-kun: this slider's start
2015-03-16 18:52 Desperate-kun: must be snapped to 1/8
2015-03-16 18:52 Desperate-kun: it's a bit complicated
2015-03-16 18:52 Desperate-kun: http://puu.sh/gCU05/9982e05586.jpg
2015-03-16 18:52 Keada: oh
2015-03-16 18:52 Desperate-kun: you can listen at 25% and will hear it ^^
2015-03-16 18:53 Keada: http://puu.sh/gCU23/e4fa933219.jpg
2015-03-16 18:53 Keada: aight
2015-03-16 18:53 Desperate-kun: yea
2015-03-16 18:54 Desperate-kun: 02:16:232 (1) -
2015-03-16 18:54 Desperate-kun: there is no 1/8 in the music here
2015-03-16 18:54 Desperate-kun: this slider should be 1/4 similar to 02:19:123 (3) -
2015-03-16 18:54 Desperate-kun: 02:27:798 (4) - same
2015-03-16 18:55 Keada: oh aight
2015-03-16 18:55 Desperate-kun: 03:20:208 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - sadly these are on the wrong snap too
2015-03-16 18:55 Desperate-kun: it must be 1/6
2015-03-16 18:56 Desperate-kun: to make it simple to tap maybe do this:
2015-03-16 18:56 Desperate-kun: http://puu.sh/gCUfZ/108723c3a3.jpg
2015-03-16 18:57 Desperate-kun: 03:31:774 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - these are correct though
2015-03-16 18:57 Desperate-kun: 03:42:256 (3) - this should be 1/4
2015-03-16 18:58 Desperate-kun: 04:38:641 (9) - same
2015-03-16 18:59 Keada: http://puu.sh/gCUrK/240293ed53.jpg fixed now
2015-03-16 18:59 Desperate-kun: cool
2015-03-16 18:59 Desperate-kun: tell me when you are done fixing so i can continue
2015-03-16 19:00 Keada: yeah
2015-03-16 19:00 Keada: :D
2015-03-16 19:01 Keada: aight done again
2015-03-16 19:01 Keada: ^^
2015-03-16 19:02 Desperate-kun: cool
2015-03-16 19:02 Desperate-kun: now i need to explain something
2015-03-16 19:02 Desperate-kun: you know the difference between a clickable object, like circle or slider head, and unclickable object, like slider tail?
2015-03-16 19:03 Desperate-kun: when the player clicks, it gives more stress to the note than when you just release the key
2015-03-16 19:03 Keada: I thiiiink so o-o
2015-03-16 19:03 Desperate-kun: that's why important beats should always be clickable
2015-03-16 19:03 Keada: yeah
2015-03-16 19:03 Desperate-kun: and in most music, the white ticks are very important, then the red ticks, then the blue ticks etc (in most of the cases)
2015-03-16 19:03 Desperate-kun: that's why usually you start 1/2 sliders at white and not at red ticks
2015-03-16 19:04 Desperate-kun: and 1/4 sliders usually start at white/red ticks instead of blue ticks
2015-03-16 19:04 Desperate-kun: now here 04:54:364 (5,6,1) -
2015-03-16 19:04 Desperate-kun: 04:54:364 (5) - is alright
2015-03-16 19:04 Desperate-kun: but 04:54:726 (6) - ends at the big white tick
2015-03-16 19:04 Desperate-kun: that doesn't give enough stress to this beat
2015-03-16 19:04 Desperate-kun: and also, the player needs to start clicking the stream at the blue tick which feels a bit weird
2015-03-16 19:05 Desperate-kun: it would be better to move the two sliders 1/2 backwards and start the stream on the big white tick
2015-03-16 19:05 Desperate-kun: like this:
2015-03-16 19:05 Keada: ooh so its better with two circles instead of that slider then
2015-03-16 19:05 Desperate-kun: yeah or that
2015-03-16 19:05 Desperate-kun: but even better it would be like this
2015-03-16 19:05 Desperate-kun: http://puu.sh/gCUWd/abdf3386dd.jpg
2015-03-16 19:06 Desperate-kun: wait a moment, i'm going to put my pizza in the furnace~
2015-03-16 19:07 Keada: aight ^^
2015-03-16 19:07 Keada: fixed so :D
2015-03-16 19:08 Desperate-kun: okay back
2015-03-16 19:09 Desperate-kun: 05:07:196 (1,2,3,4) - if you listen closely here
2015-03-16 19:09 Desperate-kun: you will notice the guitar has louder sounds at 05:07:196 - 05:07:467 - and 05:07:738 -
2015-03-16 19:09 Desperate-kun: so it makes sense to arrange the notes in groups of 3 here:
2015-03-16 19:10 Desperate-kun: http://puu.sh/gCVid/8dcfdd7274.jpg
2015-03-16 19:10 Desperate-kun: or if you want like this is good too:
2015-03-16 19:10 Desperate-kun: http://puu.sh/gCVmk/66cec19468.jpg
2015-03-16 19:11 Keada: what about this btw? http://puu.sh/gCVro/39ecea9255.jpg just a suggestion cause of the drums so
2015-03-16 19:13 Desperate-kun: is also possible
2015-03-16 19:13 Desperate-kun: 05:18:943 (1) - must be snapped to 1/6: http://puu.sh/gCVpY/deeace65a1.jpg
2015-03-16 19:13 Keada: yeah
2015-03-16 19:14 Keada: aight fixed
2015-03-16 19:14 Desperate-kun: 05:27:436 (1,2,3,4) - this pattern played weird.. it doesn't really fit in
2015-03-16 19:14 Desperate-kun: the reason is that the player needs to reduce movement speed a lot
2015-03-16 19:15 Desperate-kun: you need to move half as fast here than before
2015-03-16 19:15 Keada: hmm yeah now that I think of it thats true
2015-03-16 19:15 Desperate-kun: like.. this pattern works in some rare cases
2015-03-16 19:15 Desperate-kun: but here not really
2015-03-16 19:15 Desperate-kun: in between of a long stream
2015-03-16 19:16 Keada: oh
2015-03-16 19:16 Keada: yeah
2015-03-16 19:16 Keada: http://puu.sh/gCVLz/13bfd4c307.jpg
2015-03-16 19:16 Keada: this a good idea?
2015-03-16 19:16 Desperate-kun: hmm looks a bit cramped
2015-03-16 19:16 Keada: yeah
2015-03-16 19:16 Keada: more spaced then
2015-03-16 19:17 Desperate-kun: movement seems alright yea
2015-03-16 19:17 Keada: http://puu.sh/gCVSQ/84ef79c953.jpg
2015-03-16 19:17 Keada: there
2015-03-16 19:17 Keada: maybee
2015-03-16 19:17 Desperate-kun: seems better ^^
2015-03-16 19:17 Keada: nice :3
2015-03-16 19:17 Desperate-kun: okay now let me clear up the red lines
2015-03-16 19:17 Desperate-kun: in the rest of the song
2015-03-16 19:17 Desperate-kun: the metronome is still often wrong
2015-03-16 19:18 Keada: yeah
2015-03-16 19:18 Keada: aight
2015-03-16 19:18 Desperate-kun: 02:42:617 -
2015-03-16 19:18 Keada: my friend timed it for me so
2015-03-16 19:18 Desperate-kun: here red line
2015-03-16 19:18 Keada: i suck at timing
2015-03-16 19:18 Desperate-kun: with 6/4 measure
2015-03-16 19:18 Keada: aight
2015-03-16 19:18 Desperate-kun: don't forget to place the green line again
2015-03-16 19:18 Desperate-kun: with 1.2x sv
2015-03-16 19:18 Desperate-kun: 02:44:786 - here red line with 4/4 measure
2015-03-16 19:18 Desperate-kun: btw, aleast your friend got the bpm and offsets right, that's great
2015-03-16 19:18 Desperate-kun: the rest only matters for taiko
2015-03-16 19:19 Desperate-kun: and other converts
2015-03-16 19:19 Desperate-kun: but it still needs to be correct
2015-03-16 19:19 Keada: yeah :D
2015-03-16 19:19 Desperate-kun: but all we are doing is changing the positions of the big white ticks
2015-03-16 19:19 Desperate-kun: 03:20:931 - this red line can be removed then
2015-03-16 19:20 Keada: aight done
2015-03-16 19:20 Keada: ^^
2015-03-16 19:22 Desperate-kun: alright, the ones at the end are correct
2015-03-16 19:22 Desperate-kun: okay so now we cleared up timing and rhythms hehe
2015-03-16 19:22 Keada: thats nice :D
2015-03-16 19:22 Desperate-kun: the map was quite good with those aspects already
2015-03-16 19:22 Keada: oh o-o
2015-03-16 19:22 Keada: :D
2015-03-16 19:22 Desperate-kun: placements are also quite good already but need more finetuning
2015-03-16 19:23 Desperate-kun: i didn't check carefully now but your stream spacings seem to make sense
2015-03-16 19:23 Keada: yeah :3
2015-03-16 19:23 Desperate-kun: and are consistent, that's good
2015-03-16 19:23 Keada: aight
2015-03-16 19:23 Desperate-kun: what this map needs now is a lot of mods
2015-03-16 19:23 Keada: yehp
2015-03-16 19:23 Desperate-kun: to get more clean before it can get ranked
2015-03-16 19:24 Desperate-kun: but please don't give up on it!
2015-03-16 19:24 Desperate-kun: it's so much better than most first maps going for rank
2015-03-16 19:24 Keada: only to find that tho D: but like they say ''NEVER GIVE UP'' :D
2015-03-16 19:24 Desperate-kun: hehe

We cleaned up mainly rhythm and metronome changes! This map has a lot of potential, keep it up! :3
Aight :3 Thank you really much! it helped much with the map :D

Hello from Jloughman14's and DahplA's Modding Team! Although this violates 2 rules from my queue (over 5 minutes and modding extra) ill still give it a shot cause this maps sounds like it could turn out really well!

There's a good 5 seconds of silence at the end, not a huge deal but you could take that out if you felt like it
This was definitely the most insane thing I have modded yet. Sorry if I wasn't too much help. I really enjoyed the map and song though so take my stars! :D It say's M4M is open so could you mod my map also? https://osu.ppy.sh/s/294808 Just the hard. Please vote on how good my modding was on my queue page. My Modding Queue

03:31:774 (1) - 03:32:406 (8) - Would be pretty odd to read, consider remapping this. Remapping done! Hopefully its easier to read now >.<
05:08:009 (1) - Break Added break
There's a good 5 seconds of silence at the end, not a huge deal but you could take that out if you felt like it
This was definitely the most insane thing I have modded yet. Sorry if I wasn't too much help. I really enjoyed the map and song though so take my stars! :D It say's M4M is open so could you mod my map also? https://osu.ppy.sh/s/294808 Just the hard. Please vote on how good my modding was on my queue page. My Modding Queue
I will mod your map :D And thank you for the stars ^-^ <3

Summoned from the team queue - although I'm not sure how much help I'll be considering my inability to adequately testplay most of this xD I love the song, so I'll give it my all and hopefully some of these points will be helpful to you :3

General Comments:
  1. Consider adding some more tags to help search the mapset. You can pick any you think are worth including from Touhou, Ten Desires, TH13, Rigid Paradise, Yoshika Miyako, Metal, Instrumental... (:
  2. Im not sure on this one, but should Touhou be used as a Source if it's not an original work (as is the case here)? I see in some other Demetori songs (for example) it is cited e.g. here, whereas in others it's not, e.g. here - can someone confirm what the rule is here?
  3. Combo colours (2) and (4) were quite hard to distinguish for me - maybe increase the contrast between them a bit (but so much that either is too similar to (1).
  4. Letterbox during breaks can be disabled, since this map doesn't have a storyboard (unless you are planning to make one?) If you do uncheck this, you can delete the .osb file in the song folder as well.
  5. You have two images in the song folder (you should only have one), both of which are 1273x712 - this is unrankable. BG images should be 1024x768 for standard 4:3, or preferably, 1366x768 for widescreen 16:9 resolutions, so you'll need to resize of find a new bg image. I would stick with the current JPG (the PNG is far too bright IMO).
  6. You have a custom normal-hitclap hitsound in the song folder, but I can't see anywhere you use it in the song (might have just missed it though, sorry if I did). Also, you use custom soft and drum samplesets, but don't actually have any custom hitsounds. I take it this is something you're still working on?
  7. 80% volume throughout the song isn't great in my opinion, you lose a lot of the emphasis in he kiai (where volume should be higher) and are slightly overbearing in the few calmer sections such as 02:09:635 to 02:10:269 and 03:52:737 to 03:58:430. I'd use 90% for the former and something like 50-65% for the latter? Try some different options and see what works for you.

Map-Specific Comments:

I'll divide this up into specific "types" of changes (such as "add a circle", "make this shorter", etc.) so it's hopefully clearer to read...

00:19:485 (8) - Remove this as I can't hear a note here
00:22:377 (9) - ^
01:06:834 (2) - ^
01:15:509 (2) - ^
01:16:955 (2) - ^
03:47:225 (7) - ^
04:43:249 (1) - ^ Maybe this is for the drawn guitar sound? It's not really strong enough to stand on its own
05:47:314 (9) - Maybe make this a 1/1 slider instead for the held guitar note right at the end?
00:21:473 - Add a note for the strong drum beat here
00:28:160 - ^ (Especially if you choose to shorten 00:27:889 (6) -)
00:30:690 - ^
01:03:400 - ^
01:18:762 - ^ Add a note here to make complete the drum triplet
01:30:328 - ^
01:36:834 - ^
01:54:555 - ^ Just as you have done at 02:07:918
02:06:221 - ^
00:27:347 (2) - This should be 1/4 later for the strong beat
00:27:618 (4,5) - ^ As should both of these
01:16:503 (4) - ^ This makes a cool doublet
01:22:286 (4) - ^
01:25:268 (1) - ^
01:28:069 (5) - ^
01:30:961 (7) - This time move the note back 1/4 to map the swing pattern for the drums (4 notes then 2)
04:27:075 (1) - ^ Same as above but this time it's 4 notes then 3

00:33:401 (5) - The triplet here should be 1/2 a beat back, so move this note to 00:33:220
00:33:762 (8) - ^ Move this back one back to 00:33:582
00:50:028 (7) - ^ Move this back to 00:50:027
01:22:918 (8) - This time move forward 1/2 for the triplet
03:59:514 (6) - ^
04:00:599 (4) - But bring this one back 1/2 instead (:
00:14:335 (6) - There's a sound in the music on the blue tick here at 00:14:425, but I can't hear a sound on the current slider end, so maybe make this a 1/4 slider instead
00:20:118 (3) - ^
00:25:901 (6) - The strong beat is on the blue tick here, so move the slider start forward to 00:25:991 and make it a 1/4 slider
00:27:889 (6) - ^
00:30:238 (2) - ^ Make this a 1/4 slider for the two guitar sounds
00:31:684 (2) - ^ You could make this a 1/4 slider repeating once for the drums, but I like the slider shape and too many 1/4 sliders may get boring so it's your call

01:53:822 (3) - The guitar sound ends abruptly here, so I slider doesn't really fit. Make this a single circle, then put the slider at 01:54:003 (making sure to remove (4))
02:02:497 (3,4) - ^
02:03:943 (5,1) - ^

00:37:829 (2) - The reverse is unnecessary here as there isn't a strong beat to justify it
01:01:322 (3) - ^
01:11:442 (1,2,3) - There's a cool triplet pattern on the drums here that you could map, but it involves 1/6 and may be too hard to read going into the 1/4 stream even though this is supposed to be an "Extra" diff. Here's what I'm talking about: (play it at 25% speed to see what I'm talking about if you can't make out the pattern)

01:13:340 (7) - There's a doublet of doublets here (1,2 then another 1,2) 1/2 further forward, so move this note to 01:13:521 for the first and then remove 01:13:611 (1) to make the second
01:15:057 (8) - ^ Same here, move this note back 1/4
01:19:394 (3,4,5) - ^ This time move (3) forward 1/4 and remove (5) since there isn't a strong beat here

02:36:834 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - I think making these into a pattern would look really good since they're all on their own (so no distractions from past/future notes) and since they're in between two short breaks they could use some emphasis. Perhaps a heptagon or 7-sided star?
05:13:701 (1,2,3,4,5) - ^ Try a pentagon or 5-sided star this time
05:16:593 (1,2,3,4,5) - ^

03:54:725 - (2) - Try moving this to down to create a nice blanket with (1)
04:19:304 - (3) - ^ Move this one up a little to blanket with (1)
02:34:665 - If you drag your breaks out to the next white tick (or sometimes red tick depending on the BPM and song), it flows nicer during play in my opinion, so you could do this for each of your breaks if you feel it does anything for you. Something like this (just an example, not specific to this particular map but you get the idea hopefully
02:44:243 - I really wish I could help here but this long stream section is way out of my league. It looks pretty though (:
05:19:484 - Welp! More streams of doom! xD Again, nothing I could really comment on here, sorry ):
05:24:545 onwards - What's the purpose of all the red timing points at the end of the song here? You don't have a variable BPM or time signature here, and you even have the same volume and hitsound sampleset... Are they to correct offset changes? o_O

Wow, this was lots of fun! Your map looks really clean in general, so most of these are just some suggestions on patterns I'd like to see. Since it was a long mod, I apologize if I wasn't consistent all the way through, but hopefully there's some stuff in here you can make use of. If anything I've said doesn't make sense or you want to talk about in more detail, don't hesitate to drop back by the team queue or throw a PM my way ingame.

Best of luck! ^^

Here's a bunch of general stuff to think about, some more comments about the map itself will be coming very soon - right after I tend to my real life work (which is far less interesting than modding this ;))

MORE TO COME...
Thank you for the mod! Much difference here :D

Hey~ NM from my queue.

Dawn
00:06:557 (2) - I'm listening on 25% speed and it doesn't sound fitting. I think it should be snapped.
00:08:390 (1,2,3,4) - 3 should be more in the middle of 2 and 4, because it's too close to 4. Try disabling grid-snap to correct it.
00:26:172 (7) - Why is this circle so close to the slider before it? I think it should be spaced normally, like you did 00:25:540 (4,5) - here.
00:30:781 (4,5,6) - I think a triplet here is too much. Try making it a reverse slider to match 3.
00:31:323 (1) - The slider looks uneven because the first two ticks are on the same y axis, but the second two are slanted. I think that it should be like this or this or copy/paste and rotate 00:31:684 (2) - this if you want to.
00:33:311 (4,5,6) - Move this a bit to the left to make the star look better.
00:43:973 (1) - This shape is usually made with the points like ϟ <- that. Try this.
01:09:274 (5,6) - Blanket. You're going to have to make 5 more curved.
01:12:076 (8) - 8 breaks the straight line that 5-7 were in. Try snapping it to x-72 y-288, or x-72 y-289 if you care more about the spacing.
01:17:588 (4,1) - Possible blanket?
01:34:123 - I think a note should be here.
02:02:135 (1) - This needs to be more curved to blanket with 2.
02:34:485 (7) - I would put a finish here to emphasize the end of the kiai, like you do 05:07:918 (4) - here.
02:40:810 (4) - Make it more curved to the blanket to be perfect.
02:02:135 (1) - This needs to be more curved to blanket with 2.
03:52:738 (1,2) - Blanket, make 1 curved more out.
03:53:822 (4) - Not too important, but for a perfect stack, move this to x-356 y-132
04:13:340 (5,6,7,8) - The line here is off, either make 6/7 more curved or bring 6 - 8 a bit right for a perfect line.
04:48:220 (7,1) - Possible blanket?
04:50:931 (2) - This shape looks kinda random, consider making it like ϟ <- that.
04:54:906 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - This whole thing would be symmetrical if it wasn't for 1 and 8. Consider moving 1 down like this or moving the rest up like this. (I recommend the latter.)
That's all. I think if you looked over yours streams then you could probably find some more ways to make them look better that I haven't mentioned. I could only point out what was easy for me to find for the streams. I hope this helps you ;).

Good Luck~! :)

I've updated my mod post with some thoughts on the map itself in addition to the more general comments I posted previously. Hope you find some of them useful and they're still relevant (:

Hi there, just some timing fixes~

01:45:961 - BPM 142.000 4/4
01:46:594 - BPM 166.000 3/4
01:47:678 - BPM 166.000 4/4

and

05:19:484 - BPM 166.000 7/4

This is what it should look like:
