Problem Details:

The only option on mac seems to be to save the beatmap you are editing and override the old beatmap. For example if I want to make a practice difficulty for a hard part of a song, how can I save that part as a seperate difficulty on mac?

Video or screenshot showing the problem:

osu! version: 20150203.7 (latest)

Not sure if I understood this properly but you can just like practice hard parts of a map in the editor (which is really crap on mac)

But lets say you have this thing and by saving it, it overwrites the previous .osu file. That being said, make a copy of a file and place it somewhere. Edit the .osu file "version" to lets say from "4k hard" to "test" which can be opened via Text Edit. Same goes for the title within the brackets in the actual .osu file name. Cut/copy and paste the file in the folder. Done ^^

The file menus are hidden on mac because of some issue with wine.

Refer to my video of said thread ^

The problem isn't being able to make new difficulties - it's simply the interface which is bugged. In this case, it's just hidden away, but it's all there.

Here's a video.

EDIT: Oops, my bad for interface being Korean. Hehe xD

Thanks, can't believe it took me two weeks before finding such a simple solution.
